We booked this hotel as it was cheap and was in a great location, just above Temple Bar.
The rooms were clean and the breakfast was filling (though not much for veggies) but the noise was unbelievable - not normally a light sleeper, I had about an hour's sleep the first night.
There is a very busy kebab shop across the road which is heaving at night after night club kick out time - we were lucky to have a room right opposite. Lovely Georgian windows, but they don't keep the noise out!!
The next day, we bought earplugs - and they worked!
So if you want somewhere cheap and noise doesn't bother you, it's ok.
