We have just arrived back from a trip to Butlins Skegness, and we stayed in a caravan on site which we booked off eBay for over £300.
We arrived and it was pretty disgusting stayed for 3 dirty damp nights and decided to hunt online for a hotel and stumbled across the Crown.
What a gem! The staff were wonderful, friendly, and smiling and helpful our room was a family twin room with a huge bathroom and two bedrooms to sleep 5 with 2 TV’s, sky, and DVD players.
We enjoyed room service and when our little boy fell ill (dirty caravan I guess), the manager offered us lifts to town and was helpful offering doctor’s details.
It has a pool free to residents and the bar was so family orientated, quiet, and very friendly with great cheap food. we are going again without a doubt.
Apart from Lumley Castle its one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in so 10/10 from us.
