Stayed in Eden Garden for 2 weeks in June and found the place really clean and tidy. Arrived about 5pm and luggage taken right away to the room by staff. Mario and family are superb hosts and nothing seems too much trouble for them. The food was excellent and freshly made. My son (14) is a fussy eater but was eating anything that was made for him ,omlettes ,pizza, and the best of the lot mamas pancakes. The special dish Mario,s special meatballs is superb. Played pool with the bar staff and had a great time. Milk watr and juice all avaliable at the bar area.Safe deposit £5 per week air con £35 per week.
The pool area was kept spotless and the rooms were cleaned daily.you do need to get a sun lounger early though as there is not enough for everyone. Pool is excellent and there is a baby pool at 45cm deep.
Hardly any noise from the bar area to disturb you and the Turkish night looks like good fun though we did not do it due to going elsewhere.
All in all i would not hesitate to use these apartments again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet location away from the main town

Visited these apartments first two weeks in June 2009 after last minute booking on the internet.
Pros: Nice enough family run complex
Helpful staff
Very clean apartments
Safe area no hassle
Nice clean pool and pool area
Fair prices for food and drinks
Food is snack type but good. (pancakes and meatballs nothing exceptional.)
Safety deposit box available at £5.00 per week
Linen and towels changed often
Free books and mags to read (plenty)
Internet access
Cons : Little far out from town
Grounds are very small for 18 apartments (cramped comes to mind) no privacy
Not enough sunbeds or umbrellas. Towels out at 7oclock to ensure being in
shady spot.
Electrical meters on wall of apartment 31 ensure you get no sleep in this
apartment and all surrounding apartments can hear the constant thump of the
meter (DO NOT GO IN THE APARTMENTS 31 32 33 34 35 36 IF YOU CAN
HELP IT.)
The barbeque night was so/so but food nothing special and felt the staff wanted
to finish the food service as quick as possible and get away. Would not
reccommend attending unless things improve dramatically.
Exchange rate in apartments a little on the low side we got MUCH better rate at
R & G supermarket by Harry Rams fish shop in the old village
Air con is expensive at £35.00 per week per room.
All in all an OK holiday accommodation but would not return to these apartments
as there are far nicer ones slightly nearer the old village (Rhodes apartments
comes to mind as they have just as good apartments but far superior
grounds etc. Do not eat at the Sun bar restaurant near the apartments as the
meal they served us was diabolical and the price was the same as far nicer
restaurants nearby. We hired a car and went out to some less touristy areas and
found some of the real Turkey away from the touristy bits and the experience is
really good and the prices are very low. The car hire was reasonable with full
insurance 45 Lira per day for good size four seater. The roads were good to
drive on and found it easy to find way round. We hired from EREKOY in town.they
also do good trips and were honest in our dealings with them. Best restaurants
we used were Lighthouse and Set. Good value set meal was at Mr Yes. We had
fish and chips one night at Harry Rams in the old village ande it was very nice.

We arrived at Eden Garden Apartments in the early hours of the morning, where we were greeted immediately and shown to our apartment. The apartments were a decent size and were cleaned daily, with sheets and towels changed every couple of days.
There are only 18 apartments, all overlooking the pool, and we were made to feel very welcome, especially by Mario. There is a small restaurant and bar next to the pool where you can buy milk, cartons of juice and bottled water to keep in your fridge in your room, and there is also a small supermarket and a restaurant called 'Tommy's' just a few minutes walk away. We usually eat somewhere different every night while we are on holiday, but Mario's food was so fresh and tasty that it became our favourite place to eat!
The apartments are at the back of Icmeler, at the foot of the mountains, but it was still only about 15/20 minutes easy walk to the beach and the main part of Icmeler, giving us the best of both worlds! Many of the guests who stay here go back year after year - I think that says it all!

I have just arrived back from Eden Gardens. Fantastic place! The weather was great all day but in the evenings can get really cold so would suggest to take some warm clothing. Although there are plenty of shops where you can buy clothes from just make sure you banter with them.
Complex
There is a nice bar and a small pool and a restaurant. Food is fantastic (Mama is a great cook). The family are very friendly and will do anything for you. Mario even sent out his son to look after me and my friend on a night out to ensure our safety. The bar staff are friendly and very pleasant.
Beach
Was about 10 mins away on the bus. Buses run often and only charge 1 lira. You have to pay for the sun beds but if you buy a drink at the bar then you can have you bed for free all day.
Sea was pretty clear and shallow but its man made sand so you wont get golden sand unless you take a trip further south. In Turkey the showers are heated by solar so you do have to have a shower between 5 and 7 to make sure it’s hot.
Rooms
Spacious, clean, two single beds, shower, toilet, sink, wardrobe, fridge, a little cooking hob (no oven or microwave) small table, 2 pull out couches that turn into single beds, balcony with a table and 4 chairs, a washing rack, small dressing table and mirror.
Can be noisy depending on times you go to your room. There is a dog at the back at another apartment who barks a lot. We managed to sleep though as we enjoyed the cheap lager at 3 liras 50 which work out about 1 pound 75 for a pint.
Super market
The nearest super market is 5 mins and the bus drops you off outside it. We got a taxi back 5 liras as we stocked up on food
We enjoyed our holiday very much and would definitely go back again it is defiantly at its standards as a 3 star self catering holiday apartments.

my husband and i have been visiting turkey since 1989 and visited many resorts around the coast of turkey, but we can honestly say the eden apartments were by far the best we have ever visited before.
the hospitality of the staff could not have been better, the apartments always kept immaculate and clean, and---the food---wow--out of this world , how did she do it remains a mystery????
24/7 eating and drinking was very popular!!
we will try to book into here for our whole family for next september, if mario doesn't book up before we get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mario himself is amazing,he hardly talks but is always watching to see what his guests might need and delivers before we can ask!
we can't wait to return there again.

This was our 1st time in Turkey and after spending 2 weeks at the Eden Garden appartments it will not be our last Mario and his family could not have made us feel more welcome it was like going on holiday with your family. The appartments were basic but kept very clean by Haydar the pool area was very relaxing and Lynne is an asset to the bar keeping everyone ammused with her sense of humour. Berkay arranged plenty of entertainment Turkish nights Quiz's,and Karaoke nights which were popular with all age groups. The appartments are situated in the old town of Ichmeler just a short bus ride from the main resort which was good.Overall this is a family run business which is run by a family who care about they're customers as if they were there own I will definatley be going back.

This was our first visit to Eden Gardens and it will not be our last, Mario and his family did a fantastic job at making our holiday perfect they are so friendly and you do feel like your at a home from home. We could not find any faults. Our room was clean and comfortable although we would recomend you spend the extra for air conditioning. The bar and restaurant area is comfortable and relaxed, the food is lovely and yes you have to try the pancakes ummm. The pool is clean and a welcome relif from the heat, Eden gardens is on the outskirts of Icmeler away from the hustle and bustle of the resort it is at the foot of pine clad mountains and the views are spectacular. We would recomend Eden Garden if you want a relaxing time, make friends and have great memories of your holiday.

My wife, Julie, and I arrived home from these apartments just a few hours ago and we cant speak highly enough of them.
Although this was our 5th time in icmeler it was our first time at Eden Gardens and, to be honest, I can't see us going anywhere else from now on.
The apartments (18 in total) all have balconies overlooking the pool and are spotlessly clean and comfortable with good air conditioning (for a small fee). The family who run the place are Berkay (marti), his father Mario and his mum Mrs Mario. They are fantastic people who treat you like part of the family and cant do enough for you. The same can be said of the rest of the staff, the cleaners, Haydar and Lynne......and Lynne, if you ever read this, I owe you one love, what you did for Julie and I on our wedding anniversary last night was special and we'll never forget that, thank you.
You've really got to try this place folks, its brilliant and we can't wait to go back.

We have just come back from eden garden apartments what a lovely place to stay. The apartmants are very well run and are spotlessly clean. the kids loved marios pancakes. Eden gardens are set away from the main town of Icemeler but are so accessable by the dolmush(local bus) which comes every few minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend these apartments. Icemeler is a lovely resort with lots of lovely restaurants and bars. The food and drink is so cheap but is also good. visiting the market is a must really just for the experience its such good fun bartering with the locals. But be warned go very early as it gets very hot.
We will definately go back to icemeler and to the eden Gardens. We went by Direct holidays but i think you could perhaps do it cheaper by booking direct.

I recently stayed at Eden Gardens for a friends wedding which had been booked out for all her family and friends. On arrival we were met by Lynn, Berkay and Mario who made us feel very welcome. The apartments were spotless and had air conditioning which was very welcome in 114 degrees heat.
The pool is very clean and the there are plenty of sun loungers to go round. The food at the bar is all fresh and very tasty.........definately recommend the pancakes and Ice cream!
At the top of the road you can catch the Dolmish (local mini bus!!) for 1 Lira into Icemelar where there are shops and restaurants a plenty. Would definately recommend a visit to Anlar Jewellers, just ask at the pool bar and they will take you there.
All in all a great place to stay and highly recommended!!!!

Just back from my friend's wedding at Eden Garden in Icmeler. Turkey is a beautiful country. The weather was fantastic - never a cloud in the sky. Fantastic food in every restaurant - never had a single bad meal. I would absolutely recommend Eden Gardens - Mario, Berkay and Ida couldn't do enough for you!! Pool and surrounding areas were spotless and rooms were clean and comfortable. I had a fantastic stay here and would definitely go back again!!
