Returned here having stayed on promo trip >2 years before. Development hadn't moved on like I'd expected (thought there was to be a spa being built, more appartments) but it was great. I'd have been disappointed if I'd bought last time though. The large 1 bed appartment was lovely. Very well equipped and clean. Enjoyed meals in RCC and over in L'Estancia. Also nice snacks near the pool. Very friendly and efficient staff. (There are RCC staff and then there are Timeshare/Sales reps too so shouldn't confuse the two.) That said, reps were friendly too and far less pushy than when stayed last time. We were approached but as not on a promotion there was no obligation to have a tour so we simply said no thanks. Other than a call to check we hadn't changed our minds, that was that. (BTW kissing on each cheek is a normal greeting and not meant to offend like some people seem to have been. Maybe its just us Brits who find it a bit OTT.) We had a car for a few days but otherwise used the free shuttle bus which worked out really well. Normally took bus down and taxied back for convenience though. (Cheaper than car hire still and meant could have a drink.) Will almost certainly go back in another couple of years (go Tenerife every year) but just hope they have got that promised spa and moved on with resort.

We stayed at the Regency Country Club last June and loved it. The apartment was wonderful, very spacious with 4 poster bed, jacuzzi, and a large balcony. In the kitchen was everything you need including coffee maker, microwave, fridge freezer, even down to a juicer.
The Infinity pool is wonderful with a swim up poolbar that was fun. There were adult only areas too where you can relax with double Cabana sun beds. For children there did seem lots going on, but I didn't really take too much notice as we were thier on our own. The children had thier own pool too.
It is situated a little out of the way but we liked that as it was quiet and peaceful, plus there is a free bus runs all the time to take you into town and the beach. Also we found it was a little cooler which was nice as the days we did go to the beach we found it too hot for us! The tempreture on the whole was perfect and although sometimes some cloud we still went home with beautiful tans. From Los Cristianos you can get busses to all over the island if you don't want to hire a car, which we didn't.
On the negative side there is a half built building down and across the other side of the main road but it is quite a long way away and the building has stopped, we were told it was going to be a hospital but they have run out of money to complete it! So there is no noise and it certainly doesn't impare on your stay there.
We did book this on the phone as a promotional holiday and had been told we would be shown around the resort. The rep who took us round was lovely and although after a couple of hours we were free to go we actually spent longer, chatting because we enjoyed her company. There was certainly no hard pressure to buy.
All in all we loved it. We were very lucky as we only paid 200 pounds each for our stay there whereas other people had paid somewhere around 1,000 pounds but even those that we spoke to had said and it was worth every penny.

The apartments are fabulous. Very well equipped with sky TV, dvd player, music system. Everything you need in the kitchen, lovely furnishings and cleaned every day. The pool is lovely though the outlook is grim. The only view is of a half built hospital. Not attractive. Also, as the resort is up the mountain, tends to be under a cloud when the sun is shinning on the coast. We had a car so were able to go to the beach where it was really sunny. Very isolated area. One restaurant, La Estancia which was fanstastic but you wouldn't want to go every night. Nothing else in the vicinity. Small supermaket on site, very expensive and very limited stock. Food in the on site restaurant (mostly snacks) not good quality. The hotel staff were lovely, all very friendly. Now the beware!!!!
A rep comes to see you the day after you check-in to introduce themselves and book you in for the presentation two days later. Our rep was called Kim. She becomes your new best friend! Over friendly, kisses you goodbye even though you've only just met. Invites you to drinks at the local restaurant, gives you a lift in her car to another restaurant, joins you for a drink there, all very pally.
Then the presentation. Over 5 hours of sell. 10 oclock til gone 3. What a waste of a day (one of the few we were not under the cloud!) They do not understand the meaning of no thankyou. The more you say it the more they push you. They bring other people to try and get you to say yes. Ask you all sorts of questions about your finances (and funnily enough you find yourself telling this complete stranger everything, clever). A long face when you eventually get away. They still talk to you for the next few days when they ring to see if you've changed your mind. After that forget it. They've already got their claws into another unsuspecting prey.
We've all got to make a living but how do these people sleep at night.
Don't go, find somewhere near the beach if you want the sun and enjoy a hassle free holiday with no false people hassling you.

We were invited to the Regency Country Club as a promotional tour. It cost only £299 for the week! whilst we were optimistic as to the Ownership element but we were pleasantly surprised. Upon arriving the staff were friendly and our room (310) was out of this world.
2 Storey with 4 poster bed, 2 bathrooms etc and terrace/balcony had views over the infinity pool. The rep (who called himself our concierge) introduced himself the day after we arrived and we booked in for the tour 2 days later. At the themed night the reps were clearly visible, ours shook hands and then proceeded to kiss me on the cheek - not professional when had only just met! The tour started at 10.15 and we managed to have it ended by 12.15p.m. that said we were not pressurised and were able to enjoy the rest of our holiday. weather was great. the shop needs to be open more during the day - shuts at 12.30 and does not re-open until 5.30p.m. All in all a relaxing holiday - i would say it was like being at a health spa all week - bliss. would definately recommend it although not to purchase as very pricey!

This is a lovely hotel , all staff very nice and friendly . Apartments have air con and equipped with everything you need, we had a really big balcony with sun loungers. the main pool is huge with big jaccuzi and kids area , there is also a pool just outside the complex which we used a lot it was very peaceful. We had dinner in restaurant in complex which had a lovely athmosphere. The reception staff were very friendly and helpfull , mini supermarket here also.
