Just come back from a week in Las Piramids, thank god I didnt go for two weeks. Its the most skruffyest badley managed hotel I have ever been in.
The pool area was litterd with beer cups, cigarret ends, news papers.
Lager louts took over the pool with there childish show off behaviour and foul language. Not once did they use the toilets they used the pool instead. On the second day the pool had to be closed for 48 hours so it could be cleand.
When I complained to the managment about thire behaviour they said they had had lots of complaints,"BUT DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT.
All the bar staff have one speed, very slow,I think its a ploy to save on the waterd down beer. They run out of vodka at 9-30 on a few nights, hows that for organisation.
O and be prepaired to wait 20-30 minutes to get served.
The food was the same every day, most people were not very imprest along with myself.Dont think they have heard of FRESH VEGETABLES.
If you like to sit by the pool at night with a drink, go early there is only 22 chairs and they wont let you sit on the beds.
Glad to get home for a good nights sleep, becouse you dont get any there with the lager louts comeing in at 2-3-4 in the morning shouting and playing in the pool.
They say this is a hotel for children,NO WAY,18-30 MORE LIKE. Go if you must, but you will regret it.

We arrived on the friday night all seemed ok then sat morning the nightmare began first of all the pool wasn't cleaned and my step daughter cut her foot open on glass then we went for breakfast discusting and every meal was the same chicken and beef which wasn't edible no veg just chips, we had to eat out. We didn't get a good nights sleep while we were there for the lager louts shouting and chucking chairs in the pool and smashing bottles, i'm 34 and can party with the best of them but this hotel did nothing about it,no pool bar open because the staff were sick and she was the only one to work that bar joke, the beer was watered down when you got served after standing for 30 mins the rooms were average nothing special, the list is endless and after 3 days of HELL we moved to another hotel so please dont bother with this hotel unless this sounds like your kind of holiday, i would defo say NOT suitible for families children are right at the bottom of the list oh and no entertainment at night DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

We have just come home from this pit hole. We were told that it would be suitable for families as we have 2 small daughters. You could not sit round the pool for the loud mouth kids I say kids as they were all 18 - 30 and I can honestly say we are older than 30. The rooms were never clean to a high standard with many time had blood stains on. The food was horrible you could not even touch it so make sure you have plenty of money to go self catering. Will we ever go there again NEVER. NEVER. NEVER.

got back from this hotel on 28/6/11 went all inc and the hotel is now all inc throughout no alternitives arrived about 9pm and checked in ok got put in room 109 which is at side of kids pool fairly quiet at night but dont expect any help with your bags we had a hotel worker show us to our room which is about 100yds from reception and didnt offer to help anyone up two small flights of stairs with the luggage bad start!anyhow the next morning and breakfast was brill ,full english lots of drinks lunch and dinner were allright lots of pork, chicken, rice lamb steaks, all in all they tried hard to vary it.drinks at the pool bar during the day could be awkward as they have a rule of 1 drink 1 person so u have to go the bar together to get a soft drink or beer/spirits, and in the night bar it was two deep at the bar all night with the same rule,we could not be bothered in the end and just sat outside the restaraunt and had a few drinks there ,then went out `there isnt any entertainment at all at night nothing for children at all day or night rooms were ok nice and clean all in all this hotel should not be all inc as they dont want you on the premises at night but have had your money for drinks you will hardly get two of the bar staff {english} are leaving cos its gone like a workhouse for them i'll never go back again SOUL LESS

Ive just stayed here for a week all inclusive with my partner. We arrived at 8.30pm on the night the lady in the reception was lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed ourselves, on nights and early mornings the hotel is noisey with people coming in and still has its 18 to 30s image. Its a clean hotel with polite friendly staff. We didn´t have any cockarocahes or robberies, we hired a safe for 10 euro for the week with a 15 euro deposit which you get back when you check out. A few downsides but didn´t ruin the holiday, the food was good and always something for everyone. The drinks in the all inclusive is 1 drink per person at a time which is stupid and the bar staff are slow at times. The manager is a bit misserable when he wanders about. The pool is lovely and had plenty of sunbeds but i always put towels out first thing. We booked with Jet2 Holidays and paid just over 300 each for a week what you pay for is what you get. NO entertainment on the night baring a few stupid parrot shows and animal shows who just want you to have a picture and to buy it fot 10 euros which is a rip off. We booked a trip to Loro Parque and we had such an amazing day which i would tell anyone to go to, we did this with the Thomson First Choice Reps Pippa and Kieran who are lovely and will help anyone, so defo go and see them if you want trips! If you want a beach walk out of the hotel down the road turn left and walk past the spa straight down for around 10 minutes. The Veronicas strip is terrible, be aware for people selling dodgey sunglasses and items, and people trying to drag you in to bars harrasing you. All in all a good holiday.

Just got back from an amazing holiday at Las Piramides.I did read the reviews before we went and like most people i was a bit wary of the 1;hotel,2;food and 3;noise.
1:- The hotel is clean and well maintained.
2:- The food isn't great but plenty of choice/variety(what do you expect for 3*** and only paying £1700 for 2 weeks).
3:- The noise isn't that bad,and if you do experiance any problems all you have to do is ring 9 and security are there in a flash.
All in all a great/cheap place to stay, Reps(Pippa and Keiran) fabulas, staff great and friendly.I would definately recommend Las Piramides to anyone and everyone

hotel was very basic .virtually no control over young people there for a cheap boozed up time ,very noisy with only one thing on their minds ,booze and i won't mention the other.
the hotel rooms and public areas were fine and clean and serviceable but the food is just a disaster waiting to happen.if this was in uk the food standards people would colse the place down .the "hot" counters either didn't work or were turned off as cooked food was always cold and unpalateable.if you like cold chicken nuggets every day for lunch and dinner then this is the place for you.their fried eggs were disgusting and also cold.
will never ever return there again as we value our life more than a cheap holiday

Just arrived back home from our so called holiday, cold food, repetative menu of processed junk with hostile catering staff, I couldnt even drink the cup of teas...dish water.Cockroaches every where, with the stench of sick.No entertainment for kids, one parrot on a shoulder all 10 days.Noise from drunken yobs every night, fights, screams and the annoying metal gate being swung open and bagged from the groups of stag and hen party groups coming back at 4am onwards. Lots of hotel security and now I know why. During our stay the police where called to the hotel over fights and rooms been smashed up,a car was petrol bombed outsde the hotel due to some guest at the hotel fighting with the spanish locals. All four of us had upset stomaches and felt sick. Overall our holiday was disappointing and need another one to recover.

Although this is a late review the comments are true. We would never stay at this block of apartments again. The apartment floor was filthy, there were cobwebs from the table legs to the wall. We complained after 4 days as the floor was not even swept so they never swept the floor full stop, only changed the towels and dusted over the bathroom sink and shower. As this complex has buildings situated like a pyramid there is no privacy at all. the heat was horrendous, we could not open the entrance door as it is on a coridoor and the patio door had to have the curtains drawn for privacy whilst getting ready to go out. Tip is take a 6" electric fan, easy to pack, which would help as the hire cost is horrendous.

this was our 3rd time in tenerife,it was 3 of us girls and mum and dad. ,and when we arrived in tenerife for our 3rd year we arrived at the reception , was spacious and very clean. , we had to wait a while for the room but it was worth it , it was a lovely apartment ,very fancy for the price. but i couldn't complain, abit loud at night but nothing worth nagging about, the maids where friendly and was in about 5 days a week , and it was quite handy that we where on ground floor and just had to hop out over the balcony and go to the pool , and only had about 2 cockroaches in our apartment , which is good ,and the brick under the door stops them comming in , so we were delighted with that , the shower was lovely! , everything was structured so well and decorated lovely , the marbles gorgeous! would reccomed this apartment to everyone. , too bad we couldnt get it this year because its all booked for june, but i hope its as good as this.

me and my partner got back from las piramides last Friday and loved it, the was a little repetitive but eating out two nights in a week was nothing as you don't go on holiday to spend the whole time in the hotel, the hotel was very clean and yes the pool area got a bit messy but that's the holiday makers fault and there was always people cleaning up, the hotel staff were lovely and all spoke English. Overall we were very happy and think people go with a closed minds and should remember they booked a 3* hotel not a 5, we have booked up to go again in January and cant wait. don't let other reviews put you off.
