The hotel was great, the maids clean the room everyday and were very polite, security guards were fine and see everything so it makes you feel safe.
The reps were brilliant some even stay in the resort there are 3 pools all good, there is also a bar, cafe, supermarket and internet access. The 24hr reception is great. I didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment about the food but people said it was nice and value for money.
Its a great place for people of any age, the bars are very close to the hotel Leouardos, Mett bar, tramps and Linekers. There was a TV in the rooms with BBC1, ITV1 and sky sports 1, 2 and news. It is a really good hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Had a great time staying at Piramides. This is the 4 time we have stayed there. Not far to get to beach and the bars are on your door step. Nice clean rooms and great people who work there. Just down the road great food at Linares restaurant found it hard to stay out of the place. They do a 3 course meal for only 7.50e.
You also need to go to the Dubliners Irish bar great band after you have had a few cheap drinks in the pink bar at the patch. A nice couple from London run it. We go there for breakfast most days 100% food and drinks so cheap 70p a pint if that.
We will be back soon for a great holiday at Piramides the kids love the pool and your always made welcome. All in all a great holiday.

Apr 2006, Mr M Wakerley

The location of this hotel, I would say, is second to none and the hotel itself is great. It has everything you need including two large swimming pools, restaurant (which we didn't eat in so can't comment on the food, but the menu looked nice), on site supermarket, internet (quite expensive I might add) and, most importantly, a happy hour at the bar!
I went with my girlfriend and we had a fantastic holiday overall. The apartment was nice and maids visited everyday. One of the main pluses of the room is that it had a TV with BBC1 and ITV – I couldn't believe my British luck!
Hotel is very close to shops and restaurants and I would have to recommend the 'Victory Bar' – an English pub one minutes walk from the hotel. Excellent entertainment and atmosphere. All restaurants serve lovely food - no complaints anywhere. (Recommend the filet steak at the tapas place.
The only downers was we saw one cockroach, but hey, you're in a hot place - what do you expect? The floor in our apartment was never cleaned. White socks turn to black if you catch my drift. Sun beds round the pool get filled quickly. Oh, and we only had one teaspoon in our room, which is the main reason this hotel did not get top marks. A valid point, I'm sure you'd all agree.
Definitely recommended for couples in the time we were there. Overall excellent holiday and recommend it highly. Will definitely be going back!

Apr 2006, Mr M Forshaw

Our apartment was clean, spacious and nice. I've seen reviews saying the Piramides is a two star hotel, which is unfair, the quality was nearer three star. The maids did do a brilliant job, our apartment was always clean and they were very friendly. The security guards could be unfriendly to big groups of rowdy people but when we locked ourselves out of our room they were helpful and nice.
I'd definitely request a pool view on a higher floor as we had no cockroaches and the pool is the best view you'll get at night. The hotel's location is central and is short walk to everything, especially nightlife. Didn't see much of the entertainment but the 2-4-1 happy hour was a bargain. Other guests can be quite rowdy at night, we were woken up several times, but if you don't mind this, this hotel would be perfect for young couples and groups who want a nice basic hotel in a lively resort.
The beaches at Los Cristianos are better than those in Playa de Las Americas, they are about 20 minutes walk though the town. We would recommend this hotel and the resort for a fun holiday.

Mar 2006, Miss K Hardy

Nice apartments, with excellent swimming facilities. Put off a bit by the security guards - not so great for young people wanting a laugh, they were very strict. Also, some of the staff live in the hotel and didn't appreciate people coming back late, which caused some problems.
The nightlife in the resort was good, although there were an awful lot of people trying to sell things on the street which got annoying after a while. The bars were more expensive than I had expected and so I ran out of money!! Not good!
Other than this, if you had enough money the nightlife was good, and it was easy to have a great night out. A lot of the bars were English themed which was good, and bars like Linekers were always popular.
During the daytime, the town was nice to have a wander around and the beaches weren't too far away. The best beaches were in Los Cristianos but that only took about 20 mins to walk to, and the bars there were cheap, so you could stay on the beach most of the day.
Overall a good holiday, but too many people pushing you into doing things, especially the holiday reps, who wanted you to sign up for every event going. Could have been better but would go back.

Dec 2005, Miss K Stalker

Hi all!
Me and my sister Claire visit Tenerife 3 times a year for our girlie breaks and wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else apart from the piramides, we find it total top class and to be honest haven’t got a bad word to say about it, we have got really friendly with the staff their as they have mostly been their for a good number of years and its like home from home, they make you feel so welcome from the minute you walk through the door! the hotel itself is central in Las Americas basically a two minute walk to our local the Full Monty pub which is a must go if going to Tenerife and then just a tumble downstairs their is the jolly old Dubliner bar, absolutely amazing!
Anyway back to the hotel, their is mostly entertainment on every night down in the hotel bar and the bar staff are total friendly guys and so down to earth you couldn’t ask for a better crowd! Security on at all times, no the happiest of guys but eh what security guys are and who can blame them for no smiling when they have to act serious with on big rigger boots on over their trousers time, sexy not haha!
Will be returning in February without a doubt, so bring it on! luv
the Scottish beauties Kristy and Claire xxxxxxxxxxx
Ps 4got to say the room have really nice decor and cleaners do a top job and are ever so luvvly xxxx

Sep 2005, Miss T Townsend

The whole holiday was a nightmare, as soon as we arrived at the apartments and 3/4 of the coach unloaded I thought here we go this is going to be busy.
The type of people who stayed were rowdy, filthy and had no consideration for others which was such a shame because the apartments were really nice and we would have enjoyed it much more if it were a different crowd.
The maids were absolutely terrific and I felt so sorry for the mess they had to put up with especially by the pool. People just didn’t care, they threw cigarette’s all over left litter all around the place and never thought to put it in the bin and they were up all night shouting and chanting, running up and down the corridors and making as much noise as possible.
The other thing to watch out for is the cockroaches. They get everywhere I suggest leaving the light on as we didn’t get as many when we did.
I would definitely avoid this place if you like to relax on holiday or are a family as this place is definitely for young people who want to party

Aug 2003, Mr S D Dodd

Stayed in the Piramides Complex for 5 weeks in July and August 2003, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained, the walkways, swimming areas, etc were all cleaned twice a day and all in all was quite immaculate. I was very impressed with the complex and wouldn’t hesitate to return. During my first couple of weeks I thought the resort was a bit run down but this was being rectified, as there were some problems with the Veronicas strip of bars.
They were being maintained and refurbished which was good to see. The resort looked like it was on the way up. I had a brilliant stay and would return anytime.
