Just returned from a 2 week holiday staying at the Zante Maris Hotel on B&B. The hotel was amazing, very clean, staff very friendly and helpful and the food lovely with plenty of choice. The resort was excellent with a large choice of restaurants for eating out. We went to quite a few different ones and most were excellent but 'The Majestic' was our favourite, the food was gorgeous, the staff really friendly and the prices very reasonable.
We went on 3 excursions: The island tour by bus, the island tour by boat and the Kefalonia trip. They were all very enjoyable, each of them includes a number of stops where you see some fantastic sights(including the famous shipwreck beach on the boat trip).It is best to check out the tour shops in the resort for best deals rather than book through the tour operator.

Having just returned home from this wonderful Hotel its our 4th time staying here and has changed a little since opening we stayed on bed and breakfast which has so much choice, and decided to go over to fully inc. for the last 4 days, just so much choice and so clean, and the most friendly staff all round the Hotel. We found there to be to many small children this time as it was based more towards adults.Small ride from airport, and on the beach lovely island.

Had a wonderful relaxing family holiday at the Zante Maris Hotel which is situated in an excellent location central to the busy little town centre of Tsilivi and right on thr beech.
The hotel is very pleasant with very friendly staff, good food and good accommodation. During our stay we enjoyed the hotels evening entertainment which included a variety of shows many of which were of a high standard.
We enjoyed eating out at a number of restaurants including Romeos, Manos. Had a few good nights in "That Bar"
It's worth a trip on the vintage horse & carriages that come out in the evenings. We had a bad experience when hiring a Buggy at THEO RENTALS. Their buggy had been poorly maintained and broke down during our trip around the island. We had to find our own way back home and was disappointed to be accused of causing the breakdown and then being asked to pay for the part repair of the clutch - circa £800 euros. Dont let this stop you from taking a tour on the many sights but we wouldn't be using THEO RENTALS again.
Overall our two teenage children 16 & 14 had a great time and were safe to walk around the town centre at night. Most of the nightlife slowed down at midnight other than the few nightclubs that went on to 3 or 4ish.
Zante is a lovely island with very friendly people. We feel comfortable to recommend this place to families with children or couples.

Great Hotel and great people. Staff and locals alike. We have been 3 times in the last 14 months and are planning to go back in October.
Staff are very helpful and obviously happy in their work, this comes across all the time.
The rooms and great, lovely and clean. Some minor issues in the bathrooms (small repairs needed). But not enough to take away from the experience.
Vairied menu with a selection of Greek dishes everyday.
We travelled around the island this time and it is breath taking. For a guaranteed superb holiday, book the Zante Maris today.

was a very splendid holiday, i really enjoyed myself. especially the water volleyball in the afternoons. Also the mash potato was very delightful i would recommend it to everyone staying at Zante Maris. There was plently of things to do, even for 16-21 year olds, there was a bit of night life, but Laganas was just 20mins away in a taxi which was perfect.
Mambo's was a great bar to go to and it was just 5mins down the road, everything was just perfect and we will be going back soon!

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Zante Maris.What a fantastic hotel.We only stayed half board cos it cost £5 more for 4 of us than b&b.We've always eaten out in the evening,but we tried the food on the first night and were so impressed we went back the second,and so it went on til the end of our week.The food was luvly,plentiful and varied.The staff were'nt just helpful,they cared.We've never been fortunate to experience that before but we will definitely be going back to experience it again,ha despite the airport.

Zante maris is the perfect hotel to stay in for your holiday,its right on the beach and has beautiful views.its very quiet and relaxing.the staff are very friendly and the hotel is very cleans inc rooms,which i was very happy about.i would recommend self catering or bed and breakfast as the restaurants in tsilivi are wonderful lots to choose from and very traditional greek food yummy lol.i dont think the entertainment was that good i am 21 and found it boring,i think older couples/famileys would appreciate the entertainment.there are plenty of exciting cocktail bars and disco bars which are top.
we decided to take a trip to kefalonia for the day with first choice and we totally regretted it as most of the trip was based on a tour bus most of the day and it was boiling hot (zeste)as u can imagine.i would not recommend this trip but if u really wanted to try it out make sure u go at the start of ur hols as its a very long day.
i would definatly recommend tez tours,u must go on the island boat tour.
i have stayed in many hotels in tsilivi its one of the best holidays u will ever have everything is sooo laid back hence the reason why its v.relaxing. also try out freddies beach bar and planet bar such lovely people and great atmosphere.
overall zante maris is probably the best hotel u will stay in at tsilivi,its position is perfect u basically walk out to the pool and ur on the beach one of the clearest beaches i have ever seen.good luck and i ope ur stay at zante maris is as lovely as mine stay was :)

The zante maris hotel is the best! Probably the best in the whole of Zante to be precise.
All of the waiters and staff were great - Takis was especially nice, (waiter)he was also very funny! The hotel is right next to the beach and has lovey clean rooms and pools.One thing i have to say is that the dinners were exeptionally lovley. There was something different on every day - it's self service (buffet). I would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of booking a holiday!

This was our second stay at this hotel and third visit to Tsilivi. My Husband and I would recommend Zante Maris to older couples.
We asked for a room with a good view because as I am disabled, we spend a lot of time on our balcony. We were given a brilliant room. The lovely maid brought us wine and flowers because we had been there before, and a card to wish us a great holiday.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were so helpful, especially Katie and Bella and Dritan the Manager.
We were surprised at the quality of the food both at breakfast and evening meal, as we had previously eaten out in the many restaurants in Tsilivi, but I would definately go half board again.
The new airport has now made a big difference, although the departure area does need some more seats.
We stayed at Strofades Beach last year and although we enjoyed it, it is in a different class to HZM. This is definately my most favourite place to holiday. Thank you Zante Maris for making my holiday so perfect (despite the earthquake that we experienced!!).
