AC Cordoba

I chose the hotel because it is opposite the train station (I made an Andalusia roundtrip by train). You cannot miss it if you leave the station. It is not too far from the historic centre either, about 10-15 minutes by foot. The hotel is more for business men than for average tourists. The design has been specially taken care of. Do not expect old Spanish wooden beds. It is all very modern design. Not everyone's taste perhaps, but I liked it. Staff were friendly.

A modern hotel on the outskirts of the city but very close to the railway and bus stations and on one of the principal roads of Cordoba. Local buses are a much better option than trying to drive in the narrow streets of the old town. The old town is very interesting and only 15/20 minutes walk away. Excellent service at the front desk, a buffet breakfast which should satisfy anyone and a free mini bar (but don't get carried away it's mainly soft drinks and water with one bottle of beer). We stayed here while visiting relatives in Cordoba for a few days. The hotel is situated in the new part of town, with a wide promanade outside. It is very convienient for the train station and about 15 mins walk from the old part of town. Room was modern and clean, reception friendly and helpful. All in all a good place to stay if you dont mind being a short walk away from the old center.

Free minibar and sauna makes it a memorable stay, staff were friendly but not all spoke english. Had secure room for holding luggage. a little out of the way, but nothing too much for travellers used to walking. Very near the main train station. Overall, a good value hotel. We stayed 2 nights for an average of 60 pounds a night, breakfast not included.h

Excellent hotel, clean and new, FREE MINIBAR, stayed 2 days, no complaints, 15 minutes walk to Mezquita, Staff very helpful and friendly.

Stayed here for one night in May. No complaints. Probably more of a business hotel than a tourist hotel, if you want character you wont find it here. Rooms are clean and modern with wi-fi etc. Breakfast was pricey at 10 euros. Parking was easy. Nice cafe round the back of hotel. Not for kids though as all bathrooms were marble and when water gets on floor you could really hurt yourself!. We stay for a night in April 13, 2006 . Nice new hotel by the railway station, close to city center. Excellent staff, nice restaurant. comfortable rooms, but room walls are not insolated. At night you can ear your neighbor breath.

The rooms are small by Americian standards and average by Euporean standards. Bed and easy chair were very comfortable. Attractive modern decor - room could have been in London or Berlin, not necessarily Cordoba. Rooms very quiet even facing busy street. Rooms facing the busy street in front overlook a park across the street. Rear of hotel faces quiet street and apartment building. I travel once a month to Cordoba for business, and always stay in the AC. It is modern and clean. Mineral water is free, as well as coffee in the Lobby. The room are simple but design. The fitness room is small but always empty! The only inconvenient for tourist, it is not exactly in the town centre, but it is just a few step away from the train station.

An excellent hotel chain in general with great weekend rates. The hotel in Cordoba is close to the main (AVE) train station and within walking distance to the centre. The style is minimalist and the cleanliness unbeatable. Add to this friendly and helpful staff and excellent buffet breakfasts: I will repeat with AC hotels.
