We were invited on a promotional 'free' week to stay at the Hollywood mirage. All we had to arrange was our flights. We were expressly told by the girl on the phone that it was not a timeshare sale deal. All that would be expected of us was to take a walk round the facilities with the rep and to look at the list of properties that were available for re-sale -there would be no obligation. The resort is absolutely first class and well maintained. The behaviour of the sales manager is well beyond the pale. If one does not accept an offer made immediately he turns nasty - not the sort of behaviour that matches the standing of this resort and club.

We attended a weeks holiday on Tenerife, following a no obligation invitation to stay at the lovely complex Hollywood Mirage, with an expectation to attend an afternoon with a sales rep to discuss a potential purchase. Clean resort but sales pitch a nightmare from marilynd
We visited the Hollywood Mirage in April on an invitation to try the resort with a tour and sales pitch as part of the package. As the accomodation was greatly subsidised we expected to be shown all around the resort and presented with reasons we should buy timeshare there. This was made clear as was the absolute assurance that there was no obligation to buy on our part. Stayed here for week just before Easter, using our RCI points. We had a 2 bedroom apartment in the Charlie Chaplin block, with views over the smaller pool and the sea out in the distance. In this respect we were lucky as looking around I suspect many of the views aren't brilliant - the buildings are fairly well stacked one upon each other, and some views must be awful. We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this resort. The complex is lovely, staff were all really nice, the barman so calm despite being rushed off his feet trying to cope with all the guests seemingly wanting serving at the same time. We had won this break, and one of the conditions of course was the presentation - nightmare, 5.5hrs, guy was good at his job no doubt about it, but at the end when you say no the attitude/mannerism changes.
Great place to stay from heathertowie
We have stayed many times at Hollywood Mirage. The accomodation is spotless with good maid service - beds and towels changed three times a week. Beautiful pool with plenty of sunbeds. We have never had a problem with cockroaches here as we place ALL opened food and fruit in the larder fridge. Cockroaches are often indiginous in hot climates and I learnt my lesson many years ago in Florida!! First class accomadtion at this very impressive complex. the rooms were all well eqipped and spotlesly clean and the maid service was exellent. We had a jaqussi bath in ours very nice... The Choice of two pools was good you could either take the top pool and have the more lively atmosphere and the pool bar or take a walk across the bridge and down in the lift to the lower pool which was really qiuet and relaxing.The only comment I would make is that the restraunt is not really big enough for the size of the complex but as there are... more

Stayed at the Hollywood Mirage through a private rental company found on the website TSL [--------] booked a 1 bedroom apartment no hassle, no presentation to attend was very satisfied with the service of the staff at the Hollywood Mirage and the apartment booked. Los Cristianos is about a 5 min stroll away and the courtesy bus is there for you to use anyway if you dont wish to walk it all in all the place is beautiful and I cant wait to go back next year and take friends along.

We celebrated our Ruby Wedding anniversary at Hollywood Mirage. The apartments were spotless, the maids very friendly. We did have lots of ants on the patio but only one phone call was necessary and the problem was solved.
