We stayed at the Tyr Graig Castle during the May bank holiday and found the hotel fantastic! The location was superb at the top of a cliff; our room had a view overlooking the beach and wonderful views of the mountains and sea!
There is nothing like waking up to a view like this. The breakfast was served between 8.30am and 9.30am and had a great selection of cereals and juices for the kids as my wife and I settled for a full cooked breakfast.
The location of the hotel was ideal for us taking the kids to the beach as there is a private walkway from the hotel about 5 minutes walk and 10 minutes to Barmouth town centre.
In the evening we thought we would try the hotel restaurant, I had a juicy T-bone steak and my wife, Swordfish with a selection of veg, faultless.
The hospitality at the hotel from all the staff were great, treated superbly which is why next time we all come back to Wales it will be at Tyr Graig Castle!
