Amazon Hotel

Amazon hotel was a great find. After reading reviews on trip advisor we decided to book the hotel. It is in a great location, close to Plaka and Syntagma square. We took the subway to the hotel and found it easily, and then we took the bus back to the airport which was also easy. The reception was nice, but not overly informative. There were two elevators. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. This is a great travelers hotel. The breakfast is just OK. I would definately stay here again and I would recommend it to others.

This is a fairly basic, comfortable hotel just a few blocks south of Syntagma, a major transportation artery including the airport shuttle. We stayed for three nights and had no major complaints. Despite requesting a double bed twice in advance, there were only twin beds. Also, the amenities mentioned on the website--laundry service etc, do not seem to exist, as I asked about laundry and was given the address of a laundromat. Front desk service was hit or miss, one man was very friendly, another woman ignored us as we exited and entered.

Great location and tiny showers offset each other. Breakfast quality is subpar, and surly receptionist made our stay less than hosptable at this so so hotel. We wont be returning despite great location. If you need to use any concierge services, look elsewhere.
