When we arrived we found that there was a kids club which wasn't mentioned on the net ad. Never mind we thought, it's only for one week. The only sunbeds we could manage to salvage were the ones next to the pool shower because other nationalities were getting up in the middle of the night to put towels on beds, and alot of the time even leaving them on all night. One of the barmaids was really rude to us on our first night and continued to be the same all week. Also the barman in the hotel bar upstairs was miserable as sin and just plonked the drinks on the counter. The pool bar used plastic cups which is fair comment for health and safety reasons, but to use them in the main bar upstairs is something else. Glasses were only given to certain nationalities and it certainly wasn't the English! We were made to feel second best. We would have drank at the pool bar at night but there were never enough seats and people were having to sit on sunbeds. I had to go and find toilet paper for the last three days because the maid didn't leave any, and on two occasions we came in to find that they
had been in and left our balcony door open. The food wasn't bad and the pool bar staff the most friendly of the lot. Our courtesy room window was all smashed and the bath leaked so much that we ended up havind to leave one of our beach towels behind because there was nothing for us to stand on or to soak up the water. The only escape we found from the hotel was a place called Fonda's Hill and it was really nice and quiet with excellent service. This is the only holiday that my husband and I have actually been looking forward to going home. We were extremely disappointed and would advise anyone thinking of going....DON'T!!!!

Have just returned from this hotel for the second time after the first visit left me unsure. However glad i returned there are a new managment team in this year and wow they aim to please would fully recomend this hotel to Families couples and singles there is plenty to do both in the surrounding area and 20 min's away in Corfu town for all.
Food was much better and fresher this year and hotel alot cleaner i have to comend the new staff for turning this Hotel from Basic to very good in the closed season.

Having just returned from a week in HELL I would advise that no one ever visit this hotel.
It is not 5 star, but 5 star Greek standard!!! They get a star every time they have a pool, reception, restaurant, phone in the room, but not what you would expect in the UK.
This hotel used to be a Thomson Gold but is now just a basic hotel.
On arrival in our room, there was hair in the bath, the toilet had not been cleaned, twin beds (when we asked for double) view of the local rubbish tip.
We complained but had to wait to be transferred to another room, which was overlooking a rock face!!! It had a double bed, but the bathroom stunk... You could not put toilet paper down yet it was an open bin in the bathroom...
There were swarms of wasps, so you could not lie by the pool as every time you had a drink they attacked you.. The drinks were watered down and always tasted of Oozo!! Food is just a joke.. Turkey curry was the whole turkey just chopped up and chucked in some sauce... bones as well... bacon was basically raw.. the coffee machines all broke!! Yep so they had to use a kettle and powdered coffee... Food was inedible and the only other place to eat was the beach restaurant or Fondas hill taverna which had nice food... This has got to be the worst holiday I have ever been on.. It is run down and the so called indoor pool has not been used for 4 years... The entertainment leaves a lot to be desired if you like the birdie song and agadoo!!! All inclusive drinks finish at 11.00 and you have to pay cash as they do not take debit or credit cards.. They also do not change money (how strange) but Fondas Hill taverna will change money for you at a good rate...
For children the family rooms are a joke full of bats and bat poo!!! That is in the Beirut part of the hotel as it became known which is under the pool!!
Many families paid to fly home early as they just could not take it any more and had I had the money I would have done the same.
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND A WEEK ON THE TOILET, BE EATEN BY WASPS AND STARVE YOURSELF...
