From the minute we arrived at the apartments we were treated like old friends by Yucel. The apartments are family run and he made us so welcome. Two of us stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment with kitchen and bathroom with walk-in shower. The apartments were clean and spacious. The pool was clean and the gardens were very well kept. Most evenings when we returned to the apartments we would go to the bar for a nightcap and have a chat with Yucel. He was so helpful and informative and we would ask his advice about many things as we had never been to Turkey before, the food, the people, excursions etc etc. He even taught me a few words in Turkish - I received a new word every day ;-) I promised him that next year I would be able to string a few sentences together - because we will definitely be coming back to these apartments. They are only a 5 minute walk from the busy strip but far enough away to have a peaceful sleep.
We were there for 7 nights only but were made to feel so much part of the family that when it came time for me to say my 'goodbye for now' I became quite emotional (I can still hear Stephen saying - oh typical woman lol - such was the hospitality we received.

Yet again another great holiday, this was our forth year and booked again next year with more family. Standards great, apartments clean and tidy, pool cleaned everyday and plenty of sunbeds for all. We were always welcome and treated like part of the family. There is plenty to do around the resort including a small fair just around the corner. We went horse riding this year and really enjoyed it. We would recommend it to all ages. Billy's beach is a short dalmus ride away, well worth a visit. Beautiful scenery. We recommend the Suntrap for a lovely meal along with Yucel's meals in the apartments. When you arive ask for Billy, very helpful and very friendly as are all the staff!

so sad coming home,we had another great 2weeks,feel part of the famiy .everyone was brill as usual especally our mate billy,first time for my son david and partner lorna both had a great time.location of he appartments is good near to all night life but quiet enough if you need an early night.pool brill food very good.everyone makes you feel at home.
look forward to going back next year.lots of bars and places to eat caters for all age groups.if youv'e never been you must try it especially at these appartments!!!

Just back from Tayfun Apartments. Our first time in Hisaronu. We loved the place and enjoyed our holiday and time at Tayfun, it was very central but quiet. The pool area is lovely altho you have to get up pretty early to get a sunbed. Towels were left on beds as early as 4 am in the morning. The bar was always very quiet with no atmosphere, so we headed out most nights into the main town. We had a burger one day but it was not up to much so we did not stay for dinner. We drunk regularly in Altu's just next to to apartments, great welcome and atmosphere.
We stayed for 2 weeks and thought our rooms would be cleaned automatically, but as we met other people we found out you had to ask to get it cleaned. We got it cleaned and toilet bin emptied only twice in the 2 weeks we were there. I would have felt a bit better if they had at least emptied the bin in the toilet regularly. I had to empty it myself and leave it downstairs.
We will definately go back to Hisaronu, but not sure if we would go back to Tayfun

me and my 2 children had a brilliant time at tayfun. spotlessly clean apartment and the staff were the best. within walking distance of all the nightlife but we also had a few fun nights playing pool in the bar at the apartment. i can,t wait to go back there again in july 2008.

Stayed here in September. Found apartment great value for money, the staff were great
especially Billy. The meals we had there were excellent, Yucel even cooked us a traditional Turkish meal which we all enjoyed.
We would definitely recommend the apartments; close to all amenities but far enough away if you wanted a quieter night. If you like good music (you choose) and sport plus great and friendly service then try Dreamer Bar; the guy who owns it is called Tugay and he can't do enough for you.

In an ideal location, Tayfun Apartments is a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Hisaronu, but far enough away to remain quiet if an early night is required.
The staff were brilliant - ensuring your holiday is enjoyable from start to finish.
The pool is gorgeous and clean, and creates a nice break from the summer sun (the temperature was reaching 45oC each day!).
"The Village", or Hisaronu, has many bars and restaurants, all excellent value for money, in particular the Bee Knees, Olive Tree, and Sun Trap all offer great food. The Q Bar has a waiter there who does an excellent impression of Michael Jackson, which is not to be missed!
If you want something to do other than sit around the pool or go to the beach every day, then the daily excursions are an excellent option. We tried the Boat Trip, Jeep Safari (absolutely brilliant day and get to see a lot of the local countryside/sights - don't forget the water pistols...!).
Quad Biking and Paragliding, and would recommend them to one and all (although the paragliding may well be a bit extreme for some!).
All in all an absolutely brilliant holiday, made better by the location and local people. We will be going back again without a doubt.

Tayfun apartments are a great place to stay they are tucked away a little but still within easy walking distance to the lively town of Hisaronu.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and if you are into day trips i.e.) jeep safari or even parasailing which is a fantastic experience eddy will assist with booking for a discount price.
The pool is beautiful and very clean the bar meals are lovely too all in all no complaints whatsoever perfect place to stay, spotlessly clean and very friendly staff especially Billy, Eddy, Enva and Ucell.

Tayfun apartments represent excellent value for money. The staff are so attentive and the cost of the bar and meals represent good quality food at affordable prices.
The Apartments are tucked away in a private location yet within easy reach of the lively town of Hisaranu.
The accommodation itself is immaculate inside and out - the pool is the nicest pool that we have ever experienced abroad.
Travel is easy and convenient by the Dolmush and there are lots of places to go to. Particularly recommend the island boat trip.
The staff at Tayfun can book all your trips and often they are cheaper than the travel organisations.
We will definitely be returning soon.
Dippy Dollys restaurant is just around the corner and again - the meals are good and fantastic value for money.

What a fantastic apartment. It was of an excellent standard. Very clean and spacious. The pool was immaculate and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would stay there again. The cleaners were spot on.
However for those who are looking for a self catering holiday, I would choose Tayfun Apart. You can get a lot of local produce at a fraction of UK prices. There is also a good supermarket on the town called AZDA. (Yes with a 'Z')
Ideal for families and couples.
