Lihiniya Surf Hotel

Whilst visiting Sri Lanka our stay was made pleasurable relaxing. Upon our arrival the Staff at Lihiniya Surf was on hand with hand towels and freshly squeezed juice, ready to comply with any task we required. No task was too much trouble; their jobs were to make their guest as comfortable as possible.
The Staff themselves were extremely polite, friendly and really wonderful people to get to know. They definitely made our stay complete.
The accommodation itself was fairly large, furnished simply but elegantly. There were two single beds with lamp side dressers, a "his and hers" wardrobe, with a safe inside for valuable belongings to be kept, There was also a sitting area if view of a TV. There was a large dresser with a mirror above it that gave a sense of grandeur to the room.
There was also an ensuite bathroom that was fitted with the basic washing amenities. But by far the most lavish of our decorations was the room’s balcony. It overlooked the seafront and our very own private beach. This scenery made each night magical and picturesque.
Every evening the hotel would entertain their guests. With most night being themed dinner evenings. This meant there was always a wide selection of foods available, within the main restaurant. But being positioned by the sea meant there was also an outdoor seafood restaurant. That we dined at several time, embracing the romantic scenario that was present.
The facilities available were vast, during the day event were arranged such as tennis, ping pong swimming, water polo, and board games. For those who wished to relax, sunbathing by the outdoor bar was a favourite pastime. Our obviously trips to the local festivities or all over Sri Lanka could be arrange.
If you want a lavish servant and guest establishment then Lihiniya surf is not the place for you. However if you want a hotel with a calming atmosphere and friendly warm hearted staff, then I would definitely recommend Lihiniya Surf.
This holiday destination is definitely one I will be returning to.
