President Hotel

In Split this hotel qualifies as a 4-star, but by most other standards it would be a 3-star. Based on our Split hotel search, The President appeared to be the nicest hotel in town (or just about). I booked a room at the Hotel President in Croatia for the night before I had a plane out of Split Airport at 7:00 AM. I prepaid for the room, and before I even arrived in Croatia, my credit card had been charged for the room. That night, our bus from Dubrovnik was delayed and we arrived at the hotel to check in at approximately 1:00 AM. After a long night, we just wanted a quiet room to stay in. I recently had the opportunity to visit the beautiful and historic port city of Split, Croatia and stayed at a great hotel in a perfect location for seeing the cities' main sights. Not being familiar with the city or the language and travelling alone, Hotel President was a great choice. Not only is the hotel safe and clean, but it is very modern and comfortable with a fantastic breakfast served in a gorgeous dining room each morning. The staff were helpful and spoke English.
