Las Costas Aparthotel

i stayed at las costas for a week (9th sept) while it is a beautiful hotel, clean spacious and modern with air conditioning i cant say that i felt very comfortable there. it does seem to cater mainly for german and spanish guests. the food was just ok in my opinion. they say that they have a gym but none of the equipment is in working order and for a hotel with 4 stars i dont think it would cost them too much to have the equipment serviced. it also says in the thomas cook brochure that children are not allowed at this hotel and i wonder... more

My boyfriend and I have just got back from Lanzarote! We both thought the hotel was lovely. could not fault it!!!! The reception area is spacious and staff are very friendly. The room was nice, everything you would need and very, very clean! Stayed there on my birthday and the hotel gave us a free bottle of sparkling wine, which i was touched by. There werent many English staying at the hotel and were quite a few Germans but that did'nt bother us! Modern low rise hotel on outskirts of Puerto del Carmen with direct access to Playa de los Pocillos beach. However during our stay there was some excavation for a drainage system taking place on the beach but it didn't really impact on our overall holiday experience. Most of the rooms are are in single storey clusters and are of generous proportions with furnished patios. Many guests chose to use this for relaxing rather than use the pool area. From the moment we arrived we were treated in a friendly an professional manner by Nicole and her staff. The room was large very clean and had air conditioning we loved it. This hotel is located right on the beach, with 2 gorgeous swimming pools one for children and a jacuzzi. We spent the half term week at the Las Costas. The hotel reception were very welcoming upon arrival. As I understand that hotel is not featured in any English Holiday Companies so the percentage of English holidaymakers is small, so if you are looking to meet lots of other English families and couples you will be disappointed. The swimming pool is great and the childrens pool is a good size. Because of the design of the building the swimming pool is a little more protected from the wind.
