I would certainly stay at Cinco Plazas again. The apartments and the whole complex were spotlss. The cleaner came in 3 times during the week but was on hand if needed more.Could not find fault. Apartments clean,spacious an well equiped.

What a dump..........Stayed here for the first two weeks in August this year and although the apartments a a good size they are filthy. The Cleaner was a joke she would show up every second day and do nothing . Once i found her mopping the floor with the dirtiest water i have ever seen it was black... The Bathrooms smell....from the drain in the shower and we had to keep bleaching the floor every two days to try and get rid of cockroaches.....i would never stay here again .even if i was given it for free....Basiclly its a dump.

We stayed in Cinco Plaza this August, 3 adults, 1 teen. I had read some reviews about the complex and in particular was quiet annoyed with one comment about too many Irish. The fact that i am from Ireland finds me agreeing with that post. Not so much too many Irish, but too many Dubs (i.e people from Dublin). While some were fine the majority carried on as if they were never left out let alone abroad. Cheap drink and hot weather added to the already vulgar carry on in the complex. The staff and Falcon reps were very good but the complex itself is average. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Amirillo Apts, when we arrived our rooms were unclean with a basic sheet & pillow in each room, when I say pillow I meant something rolled up looking like a pillow, extreamly uncomfortable. The walls in the room were dirty, foot prints along the bedside with one lamp shade hanging on. The bathroom had no air con or fan in any shape, no soaps or shampoo and limeted towels.No air con in apts, u must pay for this, and rooms can be extreamly hot at night. The kitchen to be fair was well stocked and tidy. The balcony area was dirty and was in need of some paint. Breakfast each morning was basic, sometimes fries and chicken nuggets were served!undercooked eggs and a limeted choice of foods, nothing local or traditional, I think they were catering for the Irish and English clients. The entertainment was fairly limited, the complex itself was in need of a daily clean despite a number of staff around. We stayed in Playa Blanca recently and the place was cleaned every day including the grounds. At Cinco Plaza this was non evident. Our rooms were cleaned twice in 7 days. Poolside beds are a big problem with clients getting up at 5.30 to get their beds, also you will be woken at around 7.30 some mornings when the poolside is cleaned down with noisy equipment.
The complex is located at the top of a hill not as dramatic as some people made out, but would be a bother if you were pushing a pram or elderly. At the bottom you had the main Puerta del Carmen strip, 2 min from hotel. and beach, very good Chinese called New World also.
Overall its nothing fancy.

Reading some of the other reviews i feel we stayed in different accommodation.We found the 2 bed apts very spacious and airy.My parents,both in there 70's were in the studio and were very comfortable.My sister was in the 1 beds and the same,very clean and had a lovely pool view.Breakfast was more than fine,you would have been very hard to please not to find something there to eat,Staff across the board we very helpful and friendly.The only thing that i will down the cinco plaza apts is on the sun beds,yes there was very few to be found by 9 o'clock,but i did find by the afternoon u would always find many beds free,well i did,my holiday was not based on whether sunbeds were free or not.Overall we had a great time at the cinco plaza,my kids lived in the pool

Never again, only here 4 hours and my son has had his Nintendo DS stolen from our apartment.
We went out for two hours for a meal, locked the doors and windows, came back and everything was still locked only to find my sons DS and game stolen, obviously someone with a key got in. Went to reception about it and they're not bothered at all.

myself and my gran went there in may for a weeks holiday. when we got there and went to reception we were given our apartment but when we got there there were people already in there. so i went back to reception with the lady that was in the apartment. there was a mix up because we bothh ahd the same surname. the other family had already unpacked so myself and my gran got another apartment and it was better because we right next the pool. the hill wasnt as bad as we thought it would be and it was so near everything it was perfect. so perfect in fact that we are going back again in september and we are bith reallly looking forward to it.

We just returned(8/August/10) from a week at Cinco Apartments. We and others couldnt wait to leave. We arrived at our apartments on the 1/August we checked in and got to our room only to find the cleaner just beginning to clean the room. I waited outside as my boyfriend went to reception I waited one hour the he returned furious and we both went to reception. The lady behind the reception was so rude she spoke Spanish to her colleague and it made us so mad. Others were also waiting in reception for there room to be cleaned also and on Sunday, Monday and Thursdays during changeover we seen other people waiting also. We had to twice roll our luggage over and back. it was a bad start to a bad holiday. Also every room in the whole complex has single beds regardless of what it says. We knew we had'nt booked five star accommmodation but under special requirements we had been told this would be possibe.
Then the sunbeds outside the pools everyday for the week where gone by 9am. People were getting up at 5am,6am and 7am to place their towels until they eventually came back later in the morning. We had to resort to getting up at 7am to do this also, I spoke to one lady from Northern Ireland and she was very angry and she couldnt get a sunbed for 4 days.
Then on our second last day we spoke to some nice Irish and English and they told us that one of the apartments had been broken into at 10pm the previous night and 3 Spanish police men were at the apartment. This really didnt go down well with any of the other residents either.
The hole experience was so bad I will never ever go back to Cinco Apartments even if it was to stay for free.

Just back from a fantastic 2 weeks in cinco plaza, it has been by far the best place ihave ever stayed in in lanzarote. I Cant complain about a single thing there, The apartments were spotless, the staff were so friendly the swimming pools were brilliant. I cant wait to go back next year. I would highly recommend the cinco plaza apartments.

One thing they don't tell you about are the cockroaches. We had two in our 2-bed apartment, and a few outside. We were given a can to spray them with but that was all - and we weren't the only ones who had them.
However, the cleaners kept cleaning, inside and outside of the apartment, and there was a lifeguard at each of the three pools.
Family orientated and again there was the usual towels on beds at the pool etc...etc...etc....
The breakfast was definetly UK style - no continental so if you want bacon, sausage, chips, beans, eggs, etc.. right place. Bring your own tea bags as tea is terrible.
Price of food and drink excellent and staff all very helpful.
Location wise - its just great. down the hill and you can go left or right along the the sea shore and vast number of places to eat, drink and spend money.
So basically don't expect much in terms of "major comforts" but you should be comfortable

just back july 2010 . absdolutely loved the apt. spotless clean, maid cleaned almost every day pool area spottless. lifegaurd on duty all day which was v handy. had large canopy over kids pool to block sun which was perfect. luaundarette for clothes .supermarket expensive but the large one 4 mins away way cheaper. stayed with husband and 2 small kids who loved the pool and the kids club. perfect holiday would def go back
