Having just returned from Majesty Club Palm Beach 25/10/10 i felt it would be appropriate and helpful to others who are considering booking a holiday at this Hotel. As a single traveller wanting to escape the British weather and have a relax in the sun, this Hotel was perfect, with tropical gardens, beautiful and claen pools, excellent food, nice room although a little tired clean towels every day and clean sheets three times a week. The staff friendly however, could be some improvements especially towards the British, informationon on the various trips can be found near the reception desk, unfortunately not in English this will hopefully be resolved when i return next year.Meeting new people was a real bonus all nationalities Russian, German, Swiss and off-course English especially Donna and Rob, Gina and Paul, Astrict and Laz, Ann and Rob to mention but a few of the most fantastic friends who made my holiday complete. Thankyou all.

Well what can i say, my partner and i booked this holiday 2-3 weeks before we went through teletext so we got a great deal on it.
Word of warning first though, if you are not keen on long transfers, this hotel is about 1 and a half hours from the airport Antalya. We booked a transfer mini bus and although we weren't the first to be dropped off, we weren't the last either.
First and foremost i have to say that the hotel staff were lovely, especially the lady who brought round the icey flannels in the afternoon about 3pm, very much appreciated when it was 30 degrees. The reception staff were very helpful on arrival and we were shown to our room by one of the porters (he did seem to expect a tip for this which we gave him as he did carry our cases as it was very late/early hours of the morning, although you could find your own way, its all sign posted in english).
The room was on the ground floor, with balcony/outside seating area. It was very clean and the maid came in everyday and changed the towels every day too.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fab! The tv had a few english channels which you could watch and we did manage to watch the england match one evening. Plenty of storage for your clothes and suitcases.
Swimming pools - Kids one, quiet one, one with a water slide, main one.
Sunloungers - No problems getting on regardless of the time of day - due to the number of pools you are certain to get one, umbrellas were not an issue either. Also there are loads of sun loungers on the hotels private beach.
Bar's - Wow, multiple bars to go too, we spent most of our time by the pool bar as it had the hotel radio station broadcasting out and it was so nice to relax and listen to the latest music, might not be your cup of tea if you are looking for a quiet relax by the pool but there is a quiet pool to go to if this is what you are looking for. Also this had the sandwich bar which was open from 11am-6pm which served paninis of whatever you liked. Mostly they had ham, cheese, chicken and some salady items. This was also by where they did ice cream from in the afternoons too.
There was a lady who came round about 3pm with ice cold flannels which were so good in the sun when it was 30 degrees. She was so friendly and remembered us each day.
There is also a beach bar which serves food around lunch time, mainly things like salad, chips, pizza, burgers, all sorts of fast food really.
They have a bubbly bar open in the evenings, i think we went down there about 8.30pm and tried one of their water pipes or shisha's as they are known by too. Cherry tobacco, lovely. Very cheap too and lasts a fairly long time.
Food - There was such a variety of foods, you could find something you'd like for your main meal every night, they made these lovely fresh pizza breads outside which were good and the BBQ'd meat was very good too. Inside the restaurant it is nicely decorated with interesting things like carved watermelons. The tables themselves could be counted as a bit basic although you were never really sat at them all that long as there was so many other things to do.
Drink - Local Beer, Vodka, Local Wine, Soft drinks such as your branded coke, fanta, etc, your normal AI drinks. The branded products such as Malibu you had to pay for although we were quite happy with the AI stuff.
Facilities -
Shop on site which is fab! My partner broke his sunglasses very early in the holiday and went and bought some more from there which were cheap and good quality too. I also bought a beautiful glass plate as a souvenier for myself. They sold all sorts of things in there ranging from Souveniers, useful holiday items such as hats sunglasses etc to card games.
Hairdressers: Didn't use but looked nice.
Shop: Good for some Turkish Delight to take back to work and for the papers, Also had another shop next door which sold all sorts of clothing and seaside equipment such as inflatables.
Entertainment - We didn't really use this although we did see part of one of the shows in the evening which was good and the families seemed to be really enjoying it. They set up a big screen outside when the football was on (Turkey vs someone, i have no idea as i wasn't watching). Also they set up a big screen inside when the F1 was on (evening) so I was extremely happy as i thought we were going to miss it.
The ruins in Side: These are fabulous, you can get a taxi from the hotel, be wary of this though as they will attempt to take you to shops to get you to buy things. You need to request from the hotel that you would like a taxi, but you want to be taken directly to the ruins in Side, no stopping at any shops. If you get a Yellow Taxi, they will not normally take you round the shops, they will take you from A to B on the quickest route possible which is exactly what you want. Oh and remember to ALWAYS ask the price before you get in. You can get some stunning pictures. Two of the best things to see is the Temple of Apollo and the Ampitheatre which you can have a tour round if you want. It costs a few euros.
Overall: Great hotel, Ok location, not too far from the ancient ruins of Side and the beach was gorgeous. Everything you could need in one place. Don't be put off by the amount of German reviews on here, yes there are a fair few Germans but there are russians and all sorts out there. Turkey seems to be getting more popular with British holiday makers now.
Enjoy and have a great time.

A bit of a long journey from the...

A bit of a long journey from the airport but well worth it. The staff were friendly and considerate and nothing was too much trouble. The resort seems to attract mainly German and Russian tourists though we did meet people from the Netherlands.
The choice of two pools (a relax pool and a fun pool) makes a big difference. The day out parasailing and jetskiing was great (a little expensive at 50 euros a time).
Accommodation was clean and well presented. The room for 2 adults and a child was just big enough. The air conditioning works in shifts, but it does work.
Beautiful grounds and hardworking gardeners.
The Hamam (Turkish bath) was a real treat - recommended.
Selection of food was fantastic - just a shame to see the German's piling it up on plates only to later leave it untouched - what a waste.
Selection of drinks was good, a fine Danish beer, local Raki (Turkish Ouzo), great tea, reasonable coffee as well as the usual fanta, coke and sprite.
We'll be visiting again in 2007 - will a little more time for the excursions.

I have just returned from a week’s stay in this resort, in this time I met two English couples.
The hotel is full of Russians or Germans. The staff do not speak a word of English.
Transfer time to and from the airport took two hours 15mins, the driver stops for a cigarette ten/fifteen minute break not welcome at 0500am when you just want to arrive at the hotel.
The resort itself locality etc, in general you cannot fault. Ideal place to go with say four or five friends. It also had good facilities for children.
Choice of food very good and the whole place well maintained.
Though the staff are not friendly at all and they always speak to you in Russian or German.
