We stayed at Wheel Farm Cottages recently. When we arrived we were given a friendly welcome from Terry and Jane who manage the cottages and once we had settled in nothing was too much trouble. They explained that the cottages have recently been bought by a new owner and as part of that all the cottages have been refurbished.
We stayed in a lovely spacious cottage which contained everything we needed, everything was brand new and even included games and a flat screen TV to keep the kids entertained. The standard of the furnishings and lovely clean, tiled bathroom were fantastic.
A swim in the heated, indoor pool was a lovely way to start the morning and the kids loved it!
All in all we really enjoyed our stay, we met some lovely people in our neighbouring cottages and Wheel is the perfect place to stay if, like us you love exploring the gorgeous North Devon coast.
With such great on-site facilities, great location and lovely accommodation we will definitely be back next year!

It was a 4 star but I thought it was more like 1/2 star. Definitely avoid.
The decor was stuck in the 1970s! The lounge, kitchen and bedrooms were tiny.
It was extremely musty and when we came home, everything smelt of mould!
The only redeeming thing was that it had an indoor swimming pool.

Stayed in "Dairy" cottage which is dog friendly.
Met on arrival by Pat who could not have been more helpful. We were shown to our cottage and its facilities explained fully. Maps, brochures and details of local facilities were all located in the cottage and it was clean and surprisingly well appointed. We were then shown the swimming pool and sauna - both used extensively during our stay and can be recommended. The grounds are well kept and our dog made full use of them.
An excellent venue only let down by the weather!!
