This year we booked this hotel via ETS tur in Turkey. We are Turkish from origine. This hotel is by far not qualified to be called a 4* or even a all inclusive. Where to start? Without going into detail I can only agree with some negative reviews. This Hotel I will... more

I have recently returned from a disastrous 2 week stay at the Belkon Club Hotel. This hotel was not what we booked to stay in and isn't the hotel advertised on either our travel companies website (Fleetway Travel - also not recommended) or the hotels own website. A modern,... more

I have never written a hotel review before but felt compelled to after having read some on this site. I have lived abroad most of my life, throughout the Middle East and Africa, and would consider myself used to non-European food. So the people that claim those complaining... more

To keep it simple, you get what you pay for with this hotel, it's simple, pleasent and cheap. A lot of these reviews are laughable and show up the people for being typical ignorant Brits! You should not go to Turkey and expect to eat pizza and chips every night!!... more

Well where do I start. We were very worried having booked the holiday with a travel agent last minute who was unable to get on to the website to look at any reviews. As it was a last minute deal which would have been lost we went ahead and booked anyway. Hindsight is a... more

Relaxed and happy
We arrived at the hotelat 7am and were showen directly to our room by a porter who turned on the TV and air conditioning (which is wonderful when it's 40+ outside). The room was big and clean, with a gorgeous balcony which over looked the pool. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels and flowers left in the room every day. On one occasion we didn't receive fresh towels and went to reception to ask for some more, within 5 minutes house keeping was at our door with towels. The staff were friendly, especially the guy on reception, who... more
coffee time was delightful
We arrived at the hotel approx 5pm my hubby was so looking forward to watching with my son Liverpool but was so disappointed when we got there due to the location. no game on the tv not 1 bar within a 15 min taxi ride.t After his strop and was just about to moan that Ibet the lager is ????? he stopped and had to admit it wasnt that bad. Within 20mins of arriving we had a little bit of negative advice given but hey what more do you need Sun pool good food nice shandys beach was great . Aug 25/07 We have just spent a week at the Belkon hotel and really enjoyed it after reading the review our expectations were not high (WHAT A SURPRISE) we were more than happy my children aged 11 and 8 had a ball and didn't want to come home the food is TURKISH and very nice if you are willing to give it a try there is pasta, rice, salad and chips as well as stews if you like junk food its not for you the breakfast was nice and the omlette man is great and the bar never ran out of beer as other people said. The beach is great and the... more

After arriving at 0630hrs we didnt get into any room not alone my room till 1430hrs waiting in the reception area which was hot and loads of flies not a good start. If you like a nice pool and like your swim wear to turn yellow then this is your place, oh not forgotten the same food on most days and if your not fast it will be cold and the flies like it when it is cold. A/I finished at 2200hrs but watch how they try to clean the glasses! There is nothing for the kids apart from swimming and this is deep for infants. There... more

stopped at belkon hotel for 1 week having read other reviews did not want to take my two children there(ages 7 and 5).first impressions were very basic but clean.the staff was very helpful and polite, did not speak very good english but did try to understand you.the food was ok if you like pasta and rice dishes everyday.the pools was cleaned every morning but still turned my childrens tshirts yellow.the same music was played rounded the pool every day.good idea of free shuttle bus to and from beach, very quiet at night time but lots of nice... more
what do you believe!!!!!!!!
Just got back from the Belkon, after reading the reviews I was really worried and expected the worst. My only comment has to be go and find out for yourself. I arrived in the early hours of the morning, I was met by reception with a warm welcome, ice cold water and coffee was offered and my suitcases were carried to my room, mmm. I thought so much for the staff not liking the English!!! The room was clean and tidy fresh towells and bedding, the member of staff then switched on my air con, and checked to make sure the t.v worked, and bidded... more
Clean, friendly & turkish !
Stayed at the Belkon week beginning 15 August with my husband and 2 sons aged 7 and 11. Very apprehensive after reading previous reviews went expecting the worst but determined to make the best of it - we were all very pleasantly surprised. Our room was bigger than any we have stayed in before with fantastic air con - slide bottom of remote to access control panel and zap it on full !! I would advise 2 mosquito plugs as they are very determined myself & my husband fed them well every night - although our boys didn't have a single... more

I have recently returned from a week at the belkon with my wife and son who is 4. we had a thoroughtly ejoyable and relaxing week, the hotel was better than expected after reading some of the harsh reviews of others, to these people who complain about the food, and the location and the activities, maybe you should try BENIDORM or perhaps your local butlins. this is a hotel which is great value for money, the equivelnt of £11 per day for all your food and drink, try get that anywhere else, think not. This is the first year it has... more

If you have read the other reviews and have booked this hotel DONT PANIC ! We had and were horrified but in reality this is acheapie holiday that is definately worth the money. We have stayed in in 5 star hotels in the past but couldn't afford tothis time. There are little things that could be improved but nothingthat would ruin your holiday unless your the type to let it !! It was improving all the time we were there and the hotel is clean (very important most importantly )the staff are friendly especially nice to the kids- really helpful.We... more
