Very relaxed atmosphere and not overly built up, 10 min walk into Playa Blanca itself for shopping and more food but you don’t need to go there if you don’t want, there is plenty to do around the flamingo complex.
Apartments are only 1 bedroom but very well furnished and kept very clean with maid service nearly every day, parents have to rough it on the sofa bed but it isn’t all that bad.

Advice, Hire a fan for the nights very hot and stuffy, sign the kids up for kidzone, use the kids disco - it’s not as bad as you would imagine and the adult entertainment following is pretty good. If you hire a car do your food shopping in Playa Blanca (Netto) otherwise the local shops have everything anyway, especially fresh bakery in the mornings.
If you have seen this in the brochure and are interested then go for it, it’s the best holiday we have had in 4 years with kids.
