The apartments, although plainly decorated are well furnished & the beds are VERY comfy.Kept immaculate daily including fresh towels. Beds changed once during our week. Bedroom is smallish but perfectly adequate and has doors opening onto large balcony. Lounge area is great, fridge included as is air con. Built for S/C but no equipment. Bathroom is spacious with decent size wash basin--one complaint--shower is fitted to rear wall over bath--not at end of bath--very difficult not to flood floor. Eventually got bath mat and sealed up curtain to wall and this prevented flooding.
This is a small complex, with cafe/bar shop and kids games room, not to forget good pool, which is cordoned off at night for safety.
24hr reception, staff very helpfull.
Food-Well, very difficult to give proper perspective, as this establishment caters mainly for spanish & german clients. From traditional British point of view, food ranged from 5*to pathetic, especially breakfast. Always plenty food and is a veggies paradise. The amount of fresh fruit was unbeleivable, inc pineapple& watermellon (viagra substitute i hear??). Restaurant management was a shambles as all meals are buffet & head guy just hasn't a clue. Most staff can't understand/speak English, so we lazy buggers must improvise--phrase book!
Would i go back? Certainly, but perhaps not half board, which we booked because of the very low value of the pound, which would make eating out in this resort beyond our meagre budget. Would i recommend it- yes, especially for family holidays--good entertainment at night for kids. All in all, this place is OK, and so near the beach and local shops, pubs and public bus stops.
