Stayed in the Hotel Isabel in Torremolinos from 3rd to 6th April 2008. Four excellent days weather. Hotel was spotless and has a great location right on the promenade. Stayed in Room 302 lovely seaview and sun on the balcony from early morning to about 3pm. Breakfasts were beautiful in bright airy dining room.
Supermarket to left of hotel ( 50 yards, under Tudor Rose ) was very reasonably priced compared to other supermarkets down towards the hill up to the town centre, those with walking difficulties beware. Tudor Rose was excellent for Sunday Lunch and very reasonably priced. Shenanigans Irish Bar beside it has good atmosphere and live music every night.
Found a beautiful French Restaurant just at the start of the hill climb to town centre. It is called Restaurant Tenerife and is hard to spot down a little street on the right hand side. Only takes one sitting of customers, tables are not reset. Set three course meals for either 12 or 18 euro which includes wine and bread.
All in all, had a nice few days in the sun but returned to snow in Ireland. Hotel Isabel is a small hotel, only seventy rooms but it is excellent for an out of peak season break.

Booked this hol with alpha and booked a sea view, but to our disappointment got a view of the apartment opposite the hotel.
We complained to the hotel receptionist and he said that he couldn’t really understand much English, which was a load of rubbish. Anyway they didn’t move us because the hotel was fully booked up, also didn’t get any money back as we had paid extra for the sea view.
The hotel was spotless the room was cleaned every day and the bedding changed every other day. The power shower was fab; it really did get you awake for the day. The restaurant opposite the hotel was really nice we went there a couple of times it was really worth it.
The beach opposite was also very clean and they were plenty of sunbeds. the resort itself was very nice and the prom is really clean and it’s a lovely walk and it’s got some nice bars etc all in all we did enjoy our stay the hotel was very nice just a bit fed up with the sea view .
Enjoy.

We stayed at this hotel and had an excellent weekend here. The hotel has a small pool in a pretty garden and the beach is across the road. This road is not a busy road! This road runs the length on the beach and a short stroll to the town. Yes there are lots of steps to climb to get to the top, but there is lift that takes you all the way up for 50 cents each. The walk down is pleasant as it is lined with shops. There are bars and resturants everywhere and good quailty food to suit all.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. From the airport was only a 10 min ride away and cost 22 euros.
