Quinta Das Figueirinhas Hotel

Booked this holiday a week before we left got a cheap deal through teletext holidays,wasnt expecting much but turned out to be a really great holiday. It is in a quiet location but has everything you need if you want away for a proper vacation. Staff were very friendly and the apartment was bigger than average.It was also cool at night in the apartment which i personally enjoyed but there were heaters there incase the rooms were to cold. We have stayed here a few times, a bit off the beaten track but that just means that you will have a quiet, enjoyable holiday. We have young children it is very safe with a great pool. Some very good reasonable restaurants locally and a great beach about 600m away. Better off peak due to the lack of aircon and very popular with the Portugese.

The apartments are large, and nicely furnished, but there is no aircon, which means the rooms can get very stuffy. The window in our room was faulty, and couldn't be opened. Unfortunately, there was a very large and noisy group staying above us, and they kept us awake most nights, for the 1st week. My advice - be sure to ask for a second floor apartment (there are only 2 floors). The facilities in the complex are very mediocre.
