Grat Place To Relax
Had a nice relaxing time at the Jacaranda. Room was clean and staff were polite & helpful.
Jacaranda Hotel Home from Home (only better)
My grown up daughter and myself went to Morocco for the first ever time last Septenber. We had been several times to Tunisia (Monastir) on packages from Belfast and expected much the same. But it was different, I cannot tell you how, it's the people. And the weather was glorious, although our trips to Tunisia were in off season Winter, so not a direct comparision. We are great believers in Trip Advisor and other travellers experiences, so we choose the number one hotel on the site, bought the rooms from Travel Republic website at a nice price... more
Better Than Ever
We have just returned from another great weeks pampering at Jacaranda Golf Hotel. We had our favourite room a bungalow type with bath and with a private terrace fronting on the garden and the pool. It was heaven. The food was as good if not better than ever. And the service was not fast food (McDonalds), we did not want that and our meals were cooked while we waited , and the starters and the drinks and the lovely ambience and music kept us happilly occupied. But I suppose we are getting old and easily satisfied. The Staff were as ever... more
Not quite what we expected
Had great hopes for this place, after reading the reviews and doing a fair bit of research. We were a little disappointed, although first impressions - sparkling reception and the beautiful gardens - were excellent, and we already knew that it was no longer a walk along the beach to town. Downsides: The rooms needed a coat of paint and breakfast was disappointing - stale bread was all that was offered, eggs were produced if you knew about them... and we had to insist on sitting indoors one morning when it rained! The hotel was deadly... more
An Oasis of Tranquility
If you are looking for total relaxation in beautiful surroundings with excellent food then this is the hotel for you. It is owned by Kristel, who takes a keen interest in the hotel and its high standards. Whilst we were there it was voted the no. 1 hotel in Agadir. The rooms are simple, but clean with all that you would need. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was superb. On the down side, it is a little way out of the town, but only a short taxi ride and there are not many shops and restaurants within walking... more
Wonderful hotel
I have just visited the Jacaranda for the second time this year. I enjoyed my stay so much the first time that I went back for another 9 wonderful days. Everything was just as I remembered and this visit did not disappoint. From the moment of my arrival at 2am in the morning until the day of departure the hotel owner and her staff could not do enough to make my stay enjoyable and restful. The quality of service and standards of cleanliness are consistently good in this hotel. The restaurant provides a good varied menu and the... more
charming oasis
we have just had a fantastic week at jacaranda golf we were lucky to have all the hotel to ourselves apart from two other guests coming in on the last day but i am sure they would injoy it as much as we did . The host christine was on hand all day to assist in anyway she could to make sure we had a good time. The restaurant was first class silver service at its best. The out door pool was very pleasing being in the hotel grounds surounded by mature shrubs and trees and in its own wall,ed garden . It on its own being so unwinding... more
Friendly peaceful and relaxing hotel
We have just returned from a week stay at this hotel, at first we were dissappointed that the beach was so far away, as the web site says you can walk to agadir on the golden sands, this you cant do due to the king having built a huge palace in the way. We dont mind walking and the walk into agadir took approx 1hr you can get a cheap orange taxi for 20dirhams if your brave enough! which we did a couple of times but they arent all that safe looking, door handles missing windows broke, & doors that dont shut these are the good ones. But... more
Fantastic retreat
Recently returned from a week in Agadir. Having previously stayed in Essaouira thought Agadir would lack culture and be too 'touristy'. We were totally surprised! The Hotel Jacaranda was a total delight. A small hotel on the outskirts of Agadir needing a short taxi or bus trip to town, we hardly ever left the hotel. We did not need to, everything we wanted was there. Peace, good courteous staff, clean & tidy room, swimming pool and serene gardens, lovely food and a wonderful hostess Kirstel who looked after us. A recently... more
tranquil hotel
jacaranda hotel agadir march 4th to 11th 2007 If it is not buffet style food, towels to reserve your sunlounger discos and animation teams you want to occupy or anger you read on. However for tranquil gardens a peacful pool area with pots of tea and water being brought to you extreamly clean bedrooms with a huge double bed, a spotless bathroom and breakfast served by waiters on the terrace in the daily sun shine, an evening meal with a menu chosen by the 'hostess with the mostest' with the food being individually... more
