Galeon Playa Apartments

The location of these apartments was great with access to the local beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. The lovely sandy beach was great with shallow water and fishes swimming around your feet, although when the wind got up you do get a free exfoliation. Our apartment was OK but in need of an overhaul, we had constant problems with towels that needed the reps to sort out and a leaking water pipe that took three attempts to fix with lots of prompts. We ate in the restaurant one night, very poor standard, food cold and limited choice.
There are loads of good restaurants nearby so do not bother eating in. The Grounds were very nice and the 4 (very cold) pools cleaned daily. The limited availability of sun beds was resolved during our stay by the pool staff locking the beds up at night and only unlocking them at 9am preventing the 6am wake up call of beds being scraped across the pool we faced on the first few days.
Kids entertainment very good although there is a significant shortage of spaces and you need to book places the day before. I would recommend this as place to come with kids.

Lovely apartment spacious and clean. Staff available to help at all times. Rooms were cleaned every day. The lady who cleaned ours even folded the kid’s cloths and tidied up toys.
Lots for kids to do within the complex 2 kids pools also play rooms for under 3s with soft toys. Play room also for older children.
Within walking distance of all shops and the beach. Pool is cleaned regularly. Only problem was with the towels provided. We never used them as they smelt stale. Even when replaced you could still smell them so bring plenty of your own.
Will definitely be going there again. Thomson staff excellent will do anything to make your holiday great.
