Alberi Del Paradiso Hotel

We had booked our last two nights at this hotel but whilst travelling decided to extend the stay to three. When we arrived I was very disappointed with the junior suite I had booked, but we were offered an alternative which was much more acceptable. The shower door leaked and the jacuzzi hadn't been used for a long time so that wasn't a pleasant experience but we had a view on the balcony of the sunset each night, a very comfortable bed and good room furnishings. Just returned from 12 days at this hotel .We liked this hotel because it was peaceful with wonderful soundproofing which eliminated any noise .Infact we heard nothing from the town or from the hotel itself The view from our room was of the town , sea and the Rocco. We enjoyed a very good breakfast with plenty of choice catering for the tastes of visitors from a variety of countries. Staying at the Hotel Alberi Del Paradiso was a wonderful beginning to a faboulous trip to Sicily. We booked through Expedia after reading reviews of the hotel here at TripAdvisor. The feedback was great and helped me feel confident in my selection. The hotel itself is large for a hill town hotel. The rooms were large by european standards. Lovely hotel. Restaurant appeared a little stuffy, but unfair of us to judge since we didn't eat there. Only regret was that we only had two nights there. Will be back :-)

This is a 4* Italian hotel giving 5* treatment. The staff are very warm and friendly and very helpful. The hotel is spotless, bedrooms cleaned daily, bed linen and towels changed daily. The rooms have sattellite tv, fridge bar & use of a safe at no charge. We stayed B&B and there was something for everybodys diet. Lovely hotel, I had already read on here about the hill into and out of town so it was no surprise. The rooms were spacious and newly decorated. Lovely views down to the town and over the bay. I really like Cefalu as it had that good mix of being a bit touristy but with plenty of local life as well. The breakfasts were ok ish but i have to rate them higher due to the fun that you can have with the orange juice maker. That's a machine not a a person!

This hotel was amazing. The staff were friendly and our room was upgraded to an executive suite with two balconies - one overlooking the pool and one facing the sea. We had a lovely marble bathroom and a large double bed. We didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel as we preferred the short walk into the town centre. I wished that we had stayed here longer - I had been so worried about booking a hotel over the internet but I needn't have been. We only stayed one night on our driving trip to Sicily. the hotel is located atop a hill at the beginning of Cefalu town. The location is a healthy walk from the beach and more than healthy to the old town of Cefalu. The hotel provide a shuttle to the private beach only along the "Lungo Mare". The Umbrella and the chairs are free of charge. Remember that if you do not take the shuttle service you have to get the pass from the front desk. Decided to stay here since the hotel was 4 star so I figured we couldn't go wrong. There were a few pitfalls. The location is very scenic as it sits atop a hill and the hotel is lovely. The downside to the location is the distance it is to the beach and town...it is rather far, so, unless you want to trek the distance by foot on the hilly terrain (and when I say hilly...), you are at the mercy of the free shuttle schedule (last van is out and back by 7:15pm which is rather early considering restaurants in town don't open for dinner until... more

We had a really good break here in July 2006. The room was pleasant and large and newly decoarated and the bathroom very classy, and the air conditioning worked well. On the down side, we couldn't afford to eat in the hotel (which we knew before we came, and we did very well eating out in Cefalu) and the hill down to the beach is fairly steep (which was good exercise for us, and they do provide free transport to the beach).
