Nice clean hotel, but very basic with friendly staff. Transport is needed as no shops or restaurants near. Ideal for peace and quiet. Recommend BBQ night. Pool area very nice also has small child section which is sectioned off.
If you want a restful holiday and basic comfort I would recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Galaxy Hotel from 12 to 19 June for what turned out to be a wonderful holiday, one of the best we've had. We stayed in Lassi itself about 10 years ago, so we had a good idea of the area.
The Galaxy is located along the famous Fanari walk with fantastic sea and mountain views, so beautiful and very peaceful. It is run by an English speaking Greek family who work very hard to ensure that guests are happy and well looked after, nothing is too much trouble.
The breakfast is fairly basic but adequate.
The rooms are more than comfortable, clean and air conditioned, and the sea view from our balcony couldn't have been better. There are 2 very good tavernas within 20 minutes walk around the picturesque headland, Argostoli (the capital) about 25 minutes walk, the main part of Lassi and its beaches about 40 minutes.
You can also get a ferry across the bay to Lixouri (15 mins) running every half hour, which is a very scenic trip.
I would certainly recommend the Galaxy hotel to anyone, I was sad to leave and will definitely return.

Great value for money. I recently returned from a great week at the Galaxy.
The staff both front and rear of house ensure your stay is a pleasant one. The room was spotless with free air conditioning complete with a balcony.
Breakfast was good continental choice with lovely fresh bread. The pool was cleaned every morning and was kept spotless by the staff. Choice of lunches at the pool bar good value.
A walk of around 30 minutes down the pleasant winding pine tree clad Fanari or Romantic Road brings you into Argostoli. Around 40 minutes to Lassi where the nearest beaches are.
I would say this hotel is great for all mobile adults seeking rest and relaxation and who want to sleep at night.
I would not recommend this hotel for those with children or mobility difficulties. Great value for money.
