We stayed at the Errietta apartments for 2 weeks and I have to warn others about a few issues we had. We went as a family and our first impressions were ok, we were met by the owner after being charged for the air-conditioning (84 euros for 2 weeks), then 15 euros for the use of the safe, we finally got to bed.
He appears very welcoming but we soon changed our opinion of him, he can be very rude, and he has so many rules I can’t right them all down. He is the Greek version of Basil Faulty!!! Very unapproachable, and not willing to compromise, we weren’t due to leave until midnight and asked to keep the room for and extra few hours so the children could rest and shower but got told no, despite there only being 4 rooms being used with over 20 rooms available!!
When it’s windy you can’t use the poolside umbrellas so if you have small children don’t bother. He moans if water comes out of the swimming pool, and there is no food available at the bar (To much effort). He closes most night by 10pm so if a drink at the bar is what your after then find somewhere else.
The rooms are clean but very basic, no kettle, no toaster, one wardrobe per room with only 2 drawers, and as a family of four we struggled for space. He advised us badly on local beaches which were not suitable for children although we were assured by him they were ok.
Overall he is very miserable and not at all suited to working with people. I’m not sure what else to say other than I would not recommend this place to stay at all, although it was nice and quiet, he made sure of putting us off going anywhere near his place ever again.
