Fabulous Hotel, great staff from Kiwis_in_Brit
We stayed half board for 7 nights from 12 May 2009, and had a wonderful holiday. The staff at the hotel amazed us, especially in the dining room where we were made to feel so welcome and treated with warmth and genuine care. (thanks Katarina) . The food also exceeded our expectations both in quality, and choice combined with the changing menu, made it a delight to go and eat in the evening. We have just come back from a two week break in the Blue Marine Hotel in Amoudara in Crete and it was fantastic, the staff were great, the rooms were superb, maid service every day, linen changed nearly every day. Food was good, flexibility for changeing meals was brilliant (we were 1/2 board). The sea views from balcany are superb. We would recomend it to anyone. If there was one critisism it would be that the entertainment closed before the end of the season (11.00pm) if there was any at all in the hotel and this was only music... more

My boyfriend and i visited the Blue Marine for 10 days in sept/oct 08 and found it great. The bus This hotel is on the outskirts of Agios Nikolas but it only took 5 mins to get there on the bus. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel. Pick up a timetable from reception as the times at the bus stop are not correct. The busses ran from 6.30 am roughtly every hour until 6pm then the last one at 9pm. If you get a taxi it is a set rate of 9 euros. The good and bad from D9onholiday
The pictures give a true depiction of this hotel, it does look beautiful, the pool is great and the views are amazing. However travellers shoud be warned of a couple of things that unfortunately made our holiday not so great. 1) There is no kids club....there is an 'animation team' who will take your child for an hour in the morning to do colouring or play Uno, and maybe an hour in the afternoon to play waterpolo. Quiet and Spacious from ans23
Hotel is very quiet and spacious. It has own bay with free umbrellas and seatbeds but the beach is not sandy, so you'd have to enter the sea from the small ponton. It takes about 10 minutes to get to municipal sandy beach and about 40 minutes to city center (by feet). Bus station is right here but the schedule isn't correct (the bus can be canceled especially on Sunday). Rooms are spacious and clean. Period: 13.06.2006 - 20.06.2006 The hotel is brand new with one wing still under construction (at that time). Rooms are very spacious and every one has an excellent sea view. Air conditioning system works only from 11:00 pm till 7-8:00 am. Small beach with many rocks close to shore that is nice though. The restaurant is the worst thing about this hotel: good food but almost the same every day (limited variation). If you choose all-inclusive don't you even think about choosing "A-la-Carte" menu at the fifth floor... more
