Had a fantastic time during our week at the three corners resort. Staff exceedingly helpful and very polite. Would recommend super safari trip, look out for Jupiter, four of its moons that were visible during our stay! Also watch out for shooting stars during August! The resort has a gorgeous pool and the beach is literally on the doorstep. Saw some beautiful sunsets and moon rises. Overall a very enjoyable holiday, would definatley return!

Just returned from Three Corners Fayrouz. The hotel is now nearly finished. Work has now restarted on the jetty, there is good access down to the beach and the pool is now heated. The rooms are spacious with a/c and a free saftey deposit box but no drawer space.

The breakfasts are excellent with lots of breads, danish pastries etc. and chefs cooking eggs and omlettes to order. For lunch and dinner the food is very samey with only one choice of meat, fish and chicken a meal and the portions given from the show cooking (usually two out of the three) are very small. There are lots of salad items and vegetables and the soups are very good.

The main problem at the moment is that the main entertainment bar is not finished and does not look likely to be so in the near future. The entertainment Karaoke, Bingo, Quizzes etc. is held in the main lobby bar and is very loud. There was belly dancing/whirling dervish shows on four times during our two weeks and although they were very good we found 4 times a bit excessive. The sound system is not good and we could not make out most of what was being said. At this present time there is nowhere else to go in the hotel to get out of the way of the entertainment so you either listen to it or go back to your room!

Eventually this hotel will be excellent. There is a lot of hard work gone into the landscaping etc. The plus side is that the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them

Staff all very friendy and kind, complex very clean & tidy!!!!

Only complaint Showers.... Would have been nice to have consistent HOT water or COLD!!! (didnt seem to ever be consistent) Did log complaint.

Room service 100% always left v clean.

This review is from 4 friends who have have spent 2 weeks in this resort in Jan this year. The hotel is lovely and very clean We were all pleased with the selection of food, which was plentiful, hot and a good choice, catered for vetegarian and vegans could manage. Staff were very friendly. The "animation" (entertainment) tried very hard, but the evening entertainment thankfully did not last long, was quiet cheesy, and difficult to undersatnd what was being said as the mike was not clear and spoken in french/belgian/germans.

Some facililties that were in the brochure description were not yet finished, eg Gym/sauna/ Belgian restruant. The pool was beautiful, but too cold to go in. Warning - the hotel does not change travelers cheques and the cash machine does not always work. Port Gelib, is a good 30 min walk either along the road or over rough ground/building areas. There are only 3 coffee/resurturants open and 2 hotels. The rest is nearly finished, but building work is everywhere.

You will need water shoes to go in the sea as it is mostly coral. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a jetty, like other in the area and we were very concerned that we were damaging coral and could not avoid steping on brittle stars which were everywhere. It was a long walk out to the reef but well worth it. The snorkelling was brilliant and we were lucky to see a turtle.

Three of our group are divers and we did go to the dive centre attached to the hotel, but they did not seem interested and their rates were quite high. However we did have 5 days great diving with Emperor divers, which are based in the Coral Diving Hotel, which is about 15 minutes walk, but they do have a bus which picks you up from your hotel.

Despite the negatives we agree it was very good value and a peaceful relaxing holiday.

We were told we would staying at another hotel and were then sent tho this one. On first impression the marble hallway was impressive but once you looked about you realised it is quite a limited hotel.

The one pool has been broken for months which no real plans to fix it. It was so cold it would not even be a good idea even if it had been hot. The jacuzzi was not cleaned out once in my entire two week stay and had a line of scum at the top of it.

There is still construction work going on in the hotel. There is no spa/sauna/beauty centre at all. The only entertainment is the animation team, one member called Tarek is actually hired by the hotel to woo women for the purposes of repeat business. This ran into trouble when three different women he slept with came back in one week.

If you have the misfortune to fall ill, the hotel will charge you somewhere around £500 half for them and half for the hospital docter. You will be told to claim it back on insurance when you get home. This was charged to a couple who had bad food poisoning caused by a chef who had poor hygiene.

I read half good reviews before i went but this is a truer picture of the place. Also there is nothing to do for a 100 mile radius as the local town is el quesir which is two streets of men shouting "sex lady" at you. The supposed local entertainment of Port Ghalib was not finished yet. There is one costa coffee. You will be over charged. Do yourself a favour: go anywhere else.

An excellent hotel even though it was not finished. Staff extremely helpful. Food excellent.

Will thoroughly deserve its 5* when finished. Rooms large and clean.

Would definitely go there again. (Hopefully in the next 2 weeks if I can find a flight).
