Fariones Apartments

We stayed at the Fariones Apartment Hotel, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote from 14th to 21st January 2007. We found the Hotel to be very good overall. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The whole Hotel was kept spotlessly clean, with no sign of any nasty insects ! For breakfast there was always a good choice of hot and cold food, together with champagne; very nice if you did not over indulge the night before ! My husband and I stayed a week in the Fariones Apts in April. The first thing that struck us was how clean the whole place was, spotlessly so. The pool area, though small was OK and we always managed to get well positioned sunbeds any time of the day we visited it. The apartments are well situated, away from the main noisy street but close enough to walk to. We always preferred to eat round the old harbour area, a 10 min walk away. We have just returned from a week at the Las Farones Apartments and it was great. The apartments were excellent and such incredible service throughout our stay – the facilities within the apartments itself were excellent and it’s modern and exceptionally clean – maid service every day was excellent – Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of foods available - The pool area is lovely and towels were available from reception. Stayed at the Fariones Apartments for 2 weeks from the 10th - 24th July. Our first impressions were good. The apartments appeared to be clean and well maintained however a few days into the holiday we had a few unwelcome visitors. There were cockroaches in the bedroom and ants in our bed. We contacted reception and they sent up housekeeping to get rid of the cockroaches. We still weren't convinced that there wasn't more hiding in the apartment so sleeping proved difficult. i have just returned from a weeks holiday with my father,at the Fariones Apartments. The whole complex was excellent in everyway, especially the breakfasts - we were expecting a cold buffet - but it was wonderful with everything you could wish for - including a glass of champagne! All the staff were helpful and the cleanliness was second to none. I recommend the complex to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing break! Cant wait to go back!!!!

We are a couple travelling with a 6 month old baby so our review of the night life of Puerto del Carmen may be slightly limited on this occasion. We enjoyed a wonderful week in the Fariones Apartments, the apartments, facilities and location were ideal. The apartment complex is a sister of the 4 star Hotel Fariones and the Aparthotel Fariones and is situated just a short walk from both of these. We have just returned from a weeks holidays in the Fariones Apartments and enjoyed a truely lovely week there. The apartment was plently big for the two of us and were spotless clean. Everyday the cleaning lady came around and replaced wet towels, mopped the floor and even washed our dishes in the sink. The breakfast's are served from 7:30 - 10:30 and were very tasty, a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, pastries and breads, hot foods and cold meats/cheese. We have just returned from a very enjoyable and relaxing week in the Apartments Fariones. When we arrived ,there was a basket of fruit and a half bottle of wine in our room. The standard of cleanliness was most impressive. Our towels were changed daily. Staff were most helpful and friendly. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and we had a very good choice of food every morning. We had a 5am departure, so our breakfast was brought to our room the previous evening. We've just returned from a week in Puerto del Carmen staying in the 3 star Apartmentos Fariones. The apartment complex is a sister of the 4 star Hotel Fariones and the Aparthotel Fariones and is situated about 3 mins walk from both of these establishments. The complex itself is very clean, the cleaning staff come in every day and make beds, refresh towels, clean the kitchen, mop floors, etc. We had a large 1-bedroomed apartment on the ground floor which had a table and chairs so that you could sit outside and enjoy the sun - perfect... more

Stayed here for a week in June 2005, these apartments a very well maintained and I cannot fault cleanliness of the grounds, restaurant/bar or pool area. Apartments are located a 5 minute walk from beach (across a busy Road), between the old town and new town.
