Hotel Rosamar is an ideal base for nights out, which is good because you wouldn't want to stay in unles you were a Spanish OAP. However there were plenty of pubs/clubs with entertainment although do avoid Francisco Jackson!
Terra Mitica wasn't very good, despite our rep saying it was better than Alton Towers, which must have been closed when he went in that case!! The hotel itself was clean but outdated and basic. The bed covers were more patch than cover! The food was fine, buffet style so suited most tastes although it did get a bit samey towards the end.
A few of the staff were friendly... most of the waiters were nice, although the one serving fried eggs in the morning was very rude! The bar staff and reception weren't that helpful/friendly but that may have been the language barrier. The pool area was nice and it wasn't too difficult to get beds although it was annoying when you see ones reserved and not used for the majority of the day.
We were given an umbrella by a couple who were on their last day and that came in very useful as there is very little shade. We passed it on when we left. The lifts were a pain as they were small and there was usually quite a wait. We actually got stuck in one but were rescued quite quickly, luckily. Overall we had a good holiday but probably wouldn't go back.
All in all a fab holiday - Alpinus staff on reception very helpful and the Concordia staff saved our day by arranging last min transfers into Spain for rearranged flights home!
Will be back to sample again.
Try it all - you'll like it!

Hotel - the hotel is centrally located and easy walking distance to the beach and the bars.
Rooms - we were on the 10th floor, had a marvelous view despite the fact there is building work opposite. Although this work continues during the week and not of a weekend it does not bother you, you cannot even hear them. The rooms are cleaned every day and they are spotless. Showers are lovely, powerful and warm. Safety deposit boxes can be hired which are inset into the wardrobes.
Food - food is nice. Very plentiful. As soon as something runs out it is replaced by fresh immediately. At the end of the counters there is another counter and here was found beef and ham off the bone, with gravy and Yorkshire puddings, also there was puddings and custard, but they are separated from the main part where you get your dinner and here the food was not as nice.
Staff - staff are very friendly. Our maid Anna loved our children. The staff in the restaurant were great with the children and always made a fuss of them and Franky the entertainments manager wanted to adopt my little boy. Staff on reception were helpful but miserable.
Rep - what rep? Never saw her or him.
Entertainment - the pits. I have never seen such rubbish in all my life. The most tedious juggling acts etc, we only watched two and never bothered again, but every night it was Spanish music and the Spanish all danced before the show, the show came on and then more Spanish music to end the evening. Hey? Do you realise the British have been coming to this hotel for over 50 years. I appreciate it was the Spanish holidays but the hotel was jam packed with them and the entertainment catered for them immensely. There was not even one night were you could say, oh its disco music or its kids night, or bingo night or karaoke night, just Spanish music. The Spanish people on holiday here are so rude, you can be waiting for the lift and when the lift comes they just hop in, I would not have this and told them so, after all I was with my mum who has arthritis in her knees, my two girls and my little boy who was in his pushchair, no consideration for others.
Pool - pool was lovely. Children loved it, English people on holiday here are friendly, daughters made a lovely friend. Spanish hog the entertainment, i.e., volleyball in the pool, tug of war, darts. Only in our second week when the Spanish had gone home did we get to find out what was on in the day and we could join in, the first week they never even came round to ask. The indoor Jacuzzi and sauna and pool were lovely, only 7 euros for two hours, well worth it, we had the place to ourselves.
I have put 8 out of 10 for the Rosamar, the hotel was very comfortable, the showers lovely, the rooms very clean, the staff were lovely with the children, the pool was very safe, the only thing was we heard that from the 1st to the 3rd week in August the Spanish are also on holiday and they hogged everything. As for the entertainment its a good job its Benidorm and there are hundreds of bars with free entertainment.

Location - Fantastic. If you want to be at the heart of everything, this hotel is ideal without being surrounded by noise - a perfect location.
Cleanliness - 10/10
Facilities - Pool fine and no mad rush for sun beds. You can get a bed up to 9.30am (which is good by the standard of some other hotels at 8am!). Mini golf, small park, spa & gym (didn't use but looked good). No snacks available, which meant a walk out for lunch.
Entertainment - Appalling. Aimed at Spanish OAPs only! No kids entertainment.
Food - Poor. Very little variety of dishes and what was offered tended to be bland and uninviting. If it wasn't for the soup and rolls, I wouldn't have eaten much. No kids food offered.
Hotel - Rooms were nice and shower great. Cleaner came in every day. TV remote has to be hired. Worse part of the building was the lifts - just 4 lifts which were hopeless. Be prepared for a long wait on arrivals day. Tip - Go down to -1 as basement takes priority for some reason.
All in all, 7/10 - let down by food and entertainment. Guests are predominantly Spanish and do not appear to have grasped the concept of waiting their turn for anything. But if you want a central location, this is your place.

Stayed in this hotel in January. Had originally booked to stay in the Rosaire but on arrival staff told us we wouldn't like the food as they had a large party of Spanish people staying and they had upgraded us to the Rosamar.
The two hotels are on the same street 2 mins walk apart. The hotel rooms and general areas where always clean. The outdoor pool looked nice but weather to cold to swim. Close to all Benidorm’s nightlife and during the day is close to both indoor and outdoor markets.
Staff very friendly and polite as we found out when my husband was pick-pocketed at the market, and they helped us out as we had no rep to turn to. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay in again.

We loved this hotel. The staff were very friendly (especially Frank) and the food was plentiful, varied and delicious. Everything was very clean. We had a toddler with us and all the staff went out of their way to be friendly with her and make us all feel very welcome.
The thing we enjoyed the most was the Spa, which only cost 7 euros - it was fabulous and when we go back we will be going in there every day. All in all an excellent hotel.

If people dont enjoy the food, cleanliness, and friendly staff at this hotel..there is something wrong with them. We go to Benidorm twice a year for the last 13 years and have stayed in many hotels. We have found this to be one of the best so far.
The staff made us feel welcome and the choice of food each day was excellent. As for the cleaners, they couldn't be faulted. Our room was spotless! I would recommend this hotel to anyone for value for money. A+++++

Stayed for 2 weeks in the hotel Rosamar-and will definitely be going back again!
Travelling with 2 teenagers for 2 weeks- the rooms were spacious and cleaned daily.
The food was fresh and hot and the menu different each day-the only downside is your restricted with the times especially breakfast if you've had a late night previously?
the staff were friendly and helpful, there was plenty to do for younger children not really teens.
The hotel is ideally situated-5 mins beach and stones throw from local shops and nightlife. Visit the Chinese restaurants while you there for a few euros the is a banquet menu which is absolutely wonderful.
The water park is brilliant but bring plenty of sun lotion as its a sun trap-you don't notice until the next day when your red raw as its salt water in the rides!

Well -10 would be a good rating, for your sanity keep away from this place, the place is rubbish the food I wouldn’t give to a pig, buffet style restaurant same food day on day half cooked, cold, only meat choice cutlets sometimes stew, beef or fish, chicken thighs only allowed two disgusting, this tripe is served only one choice daily, in the morning you have to queue to get hot water in your cup, and only one machine working, the cornflakes were poor quality and only hot milk yuck, the toaster was at the other end of the room, salads dry and tasteless half cooked boiled eggs green inside veg should have been for stews, soup was glupe like wallpaper paste, paste would probably have tasted better, we were there for two weeks 3 days of that rubbish was enough had to eat out not many good restaurants in Benidorm.
The hotel itself well the best part was the power shower in the bathroom,24/7 noise with people arriving and leaving no sound proofing at all in rooms you can hear people using the toilets, breaking wind, snoring you think they are in beside you, there is a building site adjacent with a pile driver machine driving concrete pillars 40 feet into the ground from sunrise to sunset, the site has just started so it will be going on for months yet.
We got a change of room because of the noise from this site but it is very loud and can be heard no matter what room you are in couldn’t sit by the pool like sitting on a building site with the noise of it and dust,4 lifts says 10 in a lift but in fact 10 people at 10 stone very narrow 6 was enough, they kept breaking down 14 floors in this place lifts would all come together after waiting for 10+ mins. Some days, staff unfriendly apart from manager and cleaner on 10th floor, do not use the internet access 4 machines do not work couldn’t get a refund, there was a lot of infirm people of all ages and they were given no help with their luggage at all, people in wheelchairs were put on the 14th floor.
The air conditioning is turned off Oct. To Feb. fire doors were jammed open on floors by the cleaners the noise really was unbearable most nights, entertainment was rubbish same guy took archery bowls, mini golf, Spanish lessons so amateurish, you have to pay for the remote control for the TV and also to use the indoor pool and safety deposit boxes in the rooms, only saw the rep. Once in two weeks, wasn’t interested in complaints.

The location of the hotel was really good. It was very close to both indoor and outdoor market. I was also about 5 minutes away from the beach. Around the hotel there was also a good of shops and the hotel was close to all the nightclubs and entertainment bars.
The hotel itself was not the greatest. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. The air-conditioning in the hotel was absolutely rubbish, i had to go out and buy a fan for the room.
The food in the hotel wasn’t nice either, you would need to have a good stomach to eat, you get chips for breakfast!
The pool at the hotel is not the pool that is in the brochures, it is half the size and there is also not enough sunbeds round the pool, which causes a bit of fighting when the Spanish stole everyone’s sunbeds.
There was also no snack bar in the hotel so if you are going half board then be prepared to go out somewhere everyday for your lunch.
The entertainment at night in the hotel was also rubbish, it was only suitable for the Spanish and for older people. As soon as the bar in the hotel closed at nights, you were put out straight away even if you had a drink left.
Also nearly every day the electric in the hotel or on a certain floor would turn of and you have to go looking for the electric box to turn in back on, which isn’t the greatest when your in the shower when it goes off. And one of the days that i was there all the electric in the hotel went up, there was notice up to tell you this, but that wasn’t any good for anyone on a high floor as you had to walk up the stairs to get there.
Overall Benidorm is a brilliant place to go to, it is cheap for food, drink, shoes etc... But i would advise not to go to the Hotel Rosemar.

This hotel is located just of the Galle Gerona and close to all the nightlife. It is approx 6mins walk from the beach and 10mins walk from the weekly outdoor market. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms all have balconies, safety deposit boxes, TV, and a mini fridge can be hired from reception. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food in the hotel is excellent with plenty of choice and two chefs are on duty with a carvey each evening. I cannot comment on the nightlife in the hotel as I have yet to find any hotel entertainment to rival what is on offer in the resort. The pool area is kept clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds. To sum up this hotel is clean and tidy, well maintained, close to beach and nightlife, with good food, and friendly staff. what more could you want from a hotel?

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Rosamar for 1 week and it was fantastic! We managed to get a sun bed most days whatever time of the day we went down to the pool. However, there are a lot of people who go out for the day but still save their sun beds ready for when they get back at about 5 'o clock. The pool is big and it was also very clean!
There was entertainment on in the hotel every night but I cannot comment on this as we went to the square every night! The hotel itself was lovely and it is in an excellent location, it is near enough to everything so that you can easily walk to the bars and restaurants in about 5 mins but it’s far enough away so that you can still get away from the noise. Our room was very clean however I did find the balcony a bit uncomfortable as you feel like you're sitting right next to your neighbour!
When we booked up I was a bit worried about the food as it is only a 3* hotel however me and my boyfriend were really pleased as there was something different every night and it was all very nice. There was a different selection of meat and also different potatoes so you don't have to have chips everyday. However we rarely had breakfast as it was all Spanish and it was very greasy.
We did find the fact that you need to hire the TV remote control disappointing as it doesn't state this when it advertises the TV. Also the lifts were rubbish because even though there are 4 in the hotel, you have to wait a very long time for one to come. We were on the 11th floor and we attempted to climb the stairs twice due to the wait but I wouldn't recommend it!
All in all we would rate the Rosamar 9/10 - we would definitely recommend this hotel!
