Esperidi Resort Hotel

We booked a week long break at the Giardino based on advertising on a well known web site. The actual place proved to be nothing like we expected. True it's not the most expensive accomodation, but based on what we paid we were only expecting something clean and very basic. Our 'superior' chalet was like an old garage. Although we'd paid for air con etc in the booking, there was trouble obtaining this without paying extra. This place was like a trailer park and EVERYTHING in our miniscule cottage was plastic. I think maybe even the sheets on the shaky, lopsided bed were plastic. The "kitchen" was in a tiny, window-less add-on compartment that had a door about five feet high. The bathroom was also designed for midgets. The whole place was creepy.
