Got this holiday as a last minute deal, very reasonable price! Fantastic Hotel, very friendly staff, rooms clean and a good size. Would have rated this at a 10 but location is a bit out of town and away from the beach. Plenty of taxi's for the journey back to hotel though.

We were made very welcome to this fabulous family run hotel.
The room was more than sufficient for our needs, the swimming pool area is set back from the main hotel. This gave it a very nice feel of peace and quiet.
Although the hotel wasn't glam it was very clean and made you feel incidentally at home.
Having lived on a Greek island for 3 years we thought we knew what to expect, ie geography, feel of the place. We were totally blown away by the fantastic scenery and friendly locals.
The island of Kefalonia is almost totally untouched, which make a nice change.
I'd recommend you to explore the island, it took myself and my wife 1 day to see it all, but we then went back to the places that we enjoyed the most.
It really is a must for a relaxing stress free and chav free holiday.

We have stayed at this hotel on 3 occassions and have always had a great time.
The complaints you see on this and other web sites should be taken with a large pinch of salt. Yes the hotel is basic, but then this is greece. The breakfast is always the same, but it does the job and remember that you are not paying a kings ransom to stay there.
As Thomas Cook are not covering this holiday for 2011 we have moved up to the 5 star hotel that has just opened up in Sami.
I think Thomas Cook have missed a trick by dropping this hotel and you can be sure we will be visiting it, if only to check on the little dog you walk past on your way to and from the hotel.
