Sunnydays apartments are basic but clean, the people in the apartments were very nice and could not do enough for you. The location is ideal, just a 2 euro bus ride into old rhodes town which is mind blowing.Just outside our apartments is a bar called LUNA the staff in their were great, the coffee is a must have and a great english breakfast. We will be going back to these apartments without a second thought.

this was the best holiday iv ever been on. when i went it was me, my mam, and dad. i was very scared before we went as all of thereviews were from people with kids under 10. when we got there and got welcomed by micheal i knew we would be i for a great holiday. i had two weeks of fun, all the sights yu can see are great. days by the pool and nights in the resturants. eventhough i had noone to talk to i had fun and we met numerous families. george, lakis and dimitri made the holiday. every night we went to the pool bar and just sat talking to george and had an exelent time. then through the days talking to lakis and dimiti were really good. lakis makes the best bbq's and i recomend them. the karioki was great. i loved this holiday and i really want to go back to sunny days. lakis offered me a job and so did the woman at alexandros so im sorted

Myself and my Nan went on a last minute holiday to Ixia, Rhodes last year, and stayed at the Sunny Days Appartments. We arrived after a night flight, and our first impressions of Sunny Days were not special. The room was clean, but very dated. We requested a Sea View, but instead got a view looking directly into the window of a room in another appartment block. For the price we paid, we really expected better accomodation.
The pool area was the worst part of our holiday. There was an inflatable Whale, that was there for the entire week we were there, and appeared to belong to nobody in particular, it was just floating around in the pool. The underside of the whale, was white, well, it was supposed to be, it had actually turned green. The area around the pool wasnt kept particularly clean and tidy either. However, this did not spoil our holiday, as we enjoyed the area of Ixia, and the many excurions we went on.
I highly recommend going on the Safari trip, which took you in a land rover, all over the island. On and off road, and showed you many sights and historical greek features. Our driver was called Ray, and he was very informative, and great fun too.
Overall, we enjoyed our holiday, but would not go back to Sunny Days Appartments.

I agree with the last comments. This year was my second year on the trot and with my wife and 3 children we have been all over the Med for 15 years and never returned anywhere. However, Sunny Days has such a homely feel to it and indeed Lakis, George, Dimitrius and Mikalis are indeed quite simply SUPERB.
There are so many couples who return year after year after year. The rooms are basic but essentially clean and spacious. The resort itself is fairly lively but ideal for families.
We have met many friends at Sunny Days and are hoping to return again this year. Lakis’s BBQ really are the best you will ever taste. He taught my son to fish, and George behind the bar is now a very close friend.
Please don't take my word for it. Just go and take a chance on Sunny Days. Absolutely first class. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+.

This was the best holiday ever!! Me and my husband and two children aged 2 and aged 8 spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Sunny Days apartments in Ixia, Rhodes.
The staff Lakis, Dimitris, George and Michael were absolute stars. Lakis in particular, he made the holiday for all of us.
Rooms were basic but very clean, cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, plenty of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery.
We arrived late at night and were showed to our room, very spacious and very clean (we didn't see a single beetle all holiday). Shower and bathroom was very clean - first time I have been abroad and the bathroom never flood (even after 4 showers).
The two cleaners were very nice and done an excellent job. Rooms were cleaned nearly every other day (if we decided to have an lie in they knocked then came back later) they were wonderful. We had a pool view room which faced the bar, the noise didn't bother our family at all, regular entertainment, the BEST BARBEQUE EVER - HOSTED BY LAKIS - VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED.
The apartments were popular and everyone we talked to said they came year after year (that is why we are booking for next year). From young families to a 82 year old couple no-one had a bad thing to say about Sunny Days.
Stepping out from these apartments you are on the doorstep to many restaurants, shops and family bars - you dont have far to walk.
The beach is across a busy road (talke care when crossing as very busy). Beach is pebbly but really nice and cool, the sea is clear and blue. Many water sports are available.
Me and my family went to Alexandros Restaurant for food 10 days out of the 14 as it was top class, food could not be faulted. They had all the latest Nintendo Wii, Playstation etc for the kids and a lovely clean play area for our 2 year old. All the staff including Anne and her husband were excellent. Would 100% recommend you try Alexandros!
We also went to the Faliraki waterpark making our own way there (17 euro in taxi there and 15 euro back) 20 euro per adult to get in and 15 euro for kids, our 2 year old was free - you need to spend the whole day there as it was a full filled day out - well worth the money.
What more can I say about Sunny Days apartments apart from the lovely hot weather - an excellent holiday - well enjoyed!
