the first night we arrived we were dissapointed the appartments didnt look anything like the brochure we were took 2 the back of the appartments asked where our room was and we got showed in 2 something like a bedsit. the first afternoon marie and stephen seemed friendly... more

absolutely fantastic we had the time of our lives :D great atmosphere and incredibly welcoming hosts...with great humour and pranks from minas. maria was the perfect hostess and was always willing to chat.. would love to go again if they could cope with the 18-60 club haha thank you for a lovely holiday , and thanks to stefan and jenny and family. my girlfriend and i had a great time at the minas appartments, the family.. minas, maria, stefan and jenny are the most wonderful people, the rooms are clean and basic you get what you pay for, but you can't put a price on how welcome they make you feel and they are so full of fun and kindness. maria makes a wicked bacon and egg batch, that sorted me out each morning after a good drink the night before. if they have a barbeque night on it is not to be misse,great food ond lots of drink we had a scream, hope to get back there soon.

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to these appartments in the last few years,why do we return? The reason is that Maria,Minas and the family always make sure that you have a holiday to remember,they are the friendliest people you would wish to meet. Rooms are always clean and tidy as are the pool and bar areas. Nothing is too much trouble...dont hesitate to visit thoroughly recomended. Thanks from Alan,Margaret and Ally

Great place to stay, maria, jim (minas) and stefan are very nice and helpfull, very close to the beach and all the shops and bars. Pool very nice and bar cheap with great food (Marias breakfast can nurse any hangover!!). They all speak very good english ( better than most english) I gave 5 stars for feeling welcome and wanted, and the rooms where clean with new sheets everyday. I would reccomend the BBQ night to everyone as the quality of food is second to none! and the atmosphere is great, with loads of games, You do have to watch minas though because the amount of free drinks he will give you will definatly get you drunk ( it did us :) ) Thanks alot maria and minas look forward to seeing you next year Cheryl & Aiden "maybe later" The pool table champs!!!

Our room was very basic but ok. We only spent time there to sleep so it suited us. The apartments were family run and we felt becuase we did not engage in their activities such as the bbq, staff seemed upset with us. There appeared to be a mixture of people staying at the apartments, which was good. The pool was very small and had a brown water mark around the edge-not very clean! We also had a early morning flight at 3am and there was no where safe to store the suitcases as we had to be out of the room in the morning. The beach was singles but nice. We found lots of other sandy beaches close by and did some exploring. Very hot in the 40's. There are lots of places to eat and things to do. Worth a trip.

YAMMAS!!!!!!! What can i say me and my boyfriend booked a late deal at the Minas aparments and when looking at the review that the preston girls wrote we did get a little bit worried.......? Actually when we arrived it was 0200hrs and we got a very good welcome from minas who would not stop shaking my boyfriends hand a this warm welcome continued throughout the holiday... i cant believe that those girls would write such a bad review on the cleanest and freindliest apartments that we have ever stayed in.. we met lots of nice couples familys and groups of friends and can honestly say that the minas apartments are going to get a visit from us every year? Maria is lovely and very funny she looks after everyone and makes yr holiday perfect in everyway. if i could reccommend a holiday for young coulples, familys with small kids, groups and elderly couples this is definatly the place to go. i returned home today and have already looked at the prices for sep 07.... if u go there tell maria and minas big nick and kate said yammas and we will c them soon .

just got back from another great hoilday at minas apartment lovely warm welcome from minas maria stefan i also was in room 24 and what are the preston girls talking about the room was nice as for the sofa bed been near the cooker you must be blind the kitchen is seprate from the lounge/dinner where the sofa bed was and the room was clean with no insects whats so ever i have i son and a 1 year old daughter so i would not have been happy if that was the case they should have stayed at ritz if you want a freindly holiday and meet lots of new people then you will love these apartment suitable for couples and familes and singles i have been going 4 nearl 7 years now and will go back you cant please ever body these are low budget apartment there clean you get your towels and sheets changed every other day minas and maria serve snacks at the bar and do are really good bbq on a sunday night which is amust they do there most to make you feel wecome cant wait to go back !!!!!

The apartment was very clean and quite large for the two of us. We had two balconies - one in bedroom and in the living area. There was no air conditioning though which was needed as it was 45 degrees!!! The stairs are quite steep so would not suit someone with bad mobility. The couple who run the complex are very friendly and helpful and as the complex is quite small people do tend to get to know each other. However we prefered to go off and do our own thing. The pool is clean enough but poolside area very small - but the beach is only 5 mins walk away. We had to vacate our room at midday and our flight wasnt until 3.00 am the following day we did request another room but told that there were non available. We had to book a room across the road for 35 euros. The area is fantastic with lots to do and very friendly people. There is an excellent family run taverna around the corner called the Mythos the food and service is excellent and very cheap!

Got to hotel at 4am, no one was around rep said to us room 24 - and left we had to find the room out self - the key was in the door - got in the room to find there was 4 beds and 1 of the beds being in kitchen nxt to the cooker, the room was very very basic not clean at all - linen not changed at all neither towels. there was a awful smell of sewerage, ants and snails in room - we changed rooms bit better still basic - the only person who smiled and was friendly was the son - 2 owners was very rude if your faced fit you would be ok - would not recomend this to young people at all. there is also no where to put your cases you just had to leave them in bar area - there was no hot water. these apartments have got to be the worst ones i have stayed in. pool not clean very dirty. sun beds you cant even swing a cat.

After arriving at 3am just wanted to get head down, room was very top of building - roof, nice views mind, steps lethel,minas carried my case up bless him, surprised there were 3 of us, i had sofa (bed) ?, no sheets or blankets on it only for the two single beds, minas found 2 sheets and i had coats on top of me for the night, only getting friendly with my neighbours and they gave me their spare blanket the next day. Could have done with another pillow, one just isnt enough. Room was clean and basic, toilet seat broken, kept coming off,told maria and nothing was done.Did have fun down in the bar a couple of nights, cocktails went down a treat. The rest of the town was brilliant, have got to go back but probably not at Minas. Hersonissos is a great place to go and have fun, whether you want it nice and quiet or want to go partying.
