I stayed at Four Seasons from the 17th June till 1st July this year. Although I had an amazing holiday, Four Seasons should be avoided at all costs. Even if you have booked it for this summer, Id consider moving to a different hotel
Why?
Because most of the rooms have no security which resulted in most of the rooms being robbed. Our room got robbed and all our money was stolen aswell as phones, cameras,...you name it...it was gone! The owners I believe are responsible.
It happened on a Club 18-30 Beach Party night when the owners knew everyone in the hotel was out.
When we complained to them about the robbery, they were not interested. they showed us cctv of two masked men climbing through our window but I noticed it was from the 12th February 08. when i questioned them about this, they accused me of being too drunk and told me to go to my room or id be thrown out the hotel...
Luckily, the Club 18-30 reps were on hand and we were able to go to the police and get police reports so we can claim back on the insurance the next morning.
And it doesnt stop there...
One night, I came home about 7.15am from a night out and at about 8am, the toilet exploded. Pictures below....

http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n206/kevmacmeh/DSCF0758.jpg
No-one cleaned it up and it remained like this for hours despite repeated requests for someone to clean it up since there was absolutely nothing to clean it with. Aswell as this, there was no water/ electricity/ (exploded)toilet /shower for 2 days.
Also, workmen came into our room and started drilling a hole in the wall while we were still asleep! Ive got a video of it.
Oh and you get fined for everything. Jumping in the pool - 25 euros, Broken door - 440 euros, you get the picture....
Ive contacted Thomas Cook for some form of compensation.
Avoid this place at all costs. Although I was gutted to leave Malia and some of the friends we made, I never want to step foot in this place again.

I STAYED AT THE FOUR SEASONS, ITS DEFFINATLY NOT FOR ANY ONE THAT WANTS SLEEP. I HAD A MINT TIME, I STAYED AT THE ANNA MARIA SIDE OF THE COMPLEX WHICH MUST BE THE OLDEST PART. IT HAS BEEN REFURBISHED BUT THIS ONLY THE MAIN PART OF THE BUILDING WHERE THE BAR IS, WE HAD TO PAY EXTRA TO KEEP ANOTHER ROOM ON 35 EUROS!! AND STAYED IN THE NEW PART WHICH WAS REALLY NICE. OUR ROOM WASNT TO BAD IT WAS REALLY BIG, THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THE BATHROOM. THE TOILET WAS ROTTEN!!!! OUR ROOM BACKED OUT ONTO NOTHING. OUR FRIENDS STAYED IN THE SAME BULIDING BUT THERE ROOM WAS NICE AND THEY HAS A POOL SIDE VIEW. THE OTHER THING THAT WAS REALLY ANNOYING WAS THE FACT THAT YOU HAS TO PaY TO BRING PEOPLE BACK TO UR HOLTEL 25 EUROS............... SO IF UR THINKING OFF PULLING U BETTER HAVE 25 EUROS. ITS A 24 HOUR BAR SO THERES ALWAYS SOMEONE WATCHING SO YOU CARNT SNEEK ANYONE IN. THE HOLIDAY ON A WHOLE WAS GREAT. I WENT 18-30S, DONT GO ON THE EXCURTIONS THERE CRAP. THE ONLY ONE THAT I WOULD DO AGAIN IS THE BOOZE CRUISE. FREE BAR FOR 3HOURS A BBQ AND A SWIM IN THE SEA WHICH IS REALLY BLUE AND CLEAR. MALIA IS A BIT MOOR EXPENSIVE THAN THE OTHER PLACES IN GREECE IVE BEEN SO YOU WILL NEED PLENTY OF MONEY. ITS ABOUT THE SAME AS THE UK FOR DRINKS AND FOOD. GREAT HOL, WOULD RECOMMEND IT!!

first off when i arrived at the hotel it seemed a really nice place , very lively at poolside , full of young people , and a 24 hour bar ,
i stayed in the anna maria apparments within the 4 seasons , the room was reasonably big , 4 self catering accomodation , but i noticed quite early on that it would be very easy 4 someone 2 break in,, the first three days of my stay we didnt have any running water and had to wash uncomfortably with bottled drinking water , after this problem was solved the next couple of days i had no electricity , wich was very inconvienient , after this problem was overcome , within the next couple of ours we had water gushing from our telephone line plug wich was very dangerous ,so they moved our room ,
i enojoyed this because it ment that my belongings were tidy and in their place again ,
after 2 days we came home 2 discover that all our money was stolen from our safe and our mobile phones were stolen aswell . after this we were chattin amogst our club 18-30 groups and 6 other rooms in our side of the hotel were also broken into and robbed within the same 4 hours . and nothing was done 4 12 ours after our group complaint , i really wouldnt recommend this hotel . but malia itself is a beautiful place and a really good clubbing scene with top dj's playing most nights of the weeks , i wood though recommend THE REAL PALACE HOTEL .

when we arrived we were really pleased as the bar downstairs as you walked in looked great and really modern. when we were given our rooms we were a bit dissappointed as they were the definition of tiny. literally, all there was were two beds right next to what was supposed to be a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony. the cleaners cleaned our room once which was on our first day and by the fifth day i wouldnt walk on the floor without shoes on...it was disgusting. despite this, the staff were great and we had a good laugh with them. the bar downstairs was ace and was the only 24hr bar in malia village so everyone ended up there. if your not bothered about your room when your away then i would recommend you stay here but if you like a bit of living space and a good level of cleanliness then maybe not!
overall had a wicked holiday and spent alot of time in the hotel bar. would definatley go back to malia!!

Going on an 18-30's holiday we weren't expecting much in the way of accommodation but on arriving at our room we were surprised as it was much larger than we expected. One of the first things I noticed however was how easy it would be for someone to get onto our balcony. Our room was round the back looking onto shrub land and someone only needed to climb onto the air conditioning unit and they could get onto our balcony. This left us feeling unsafe from the start
Most definitely the worst thing about the place was the bathroom. It was undoubtedly the most disgusting bathroom I have ever had the misfortune to enter in my entire life, far worse than most public toilets. The toilet seat looked about 50 years old and was all stained and cracked. The shower was a cold dribble that you had to hold to use. When you had a shower which was a very unpleasant experience, the shower curtain closed you in with the toilet which was most unhygienic. The entire floor would then flood.
The worst thing however was the stench. I know Greece has a shoddy plumbing system but the stench was just unbearable. We had to hold our breathe when we went to brush our teeth and it just reeked out the entire room. It was so bad we actually went to restaurants to use their toilets instead. My friend also has a nasty experience with a cockroach surprising her while she was on the toilet. Utterly foul is all I can say.
When we were there, there was a large group of extremely chavy and lecherous boys meaning we were disinclined to stay around the pool area for fear of being groped or stripped. The pool was very small and there were hardly any sun loungers. Instead we went to the pools of other apartments.
You are hassled a bit to do the 18-30's activities which we didn't want to do as we preferred doing our own thing. But the reps were nice and the bar staff were friendly. Milan in particular was very flirty!
Halfway through our holiday we were woken up one morning by someone furiously knocking on the door. My friend answered it and the owner barged in shouting and screaming, flinging open our wardrobe and looking under the beds... then she went again. We were completely baffled until the rep came up to talk to us. Apparently the owner had got it into her head that we had some boys back and they had broken the air conditioning unit outside our balcony. We told her this was ridiculous and she went to talk to the owner. We looked outside the balcony and saw the air conditioning unit on the ground smashed.
I began to feel quite worried. We knew we hadn't had any boys back but it looked like someone had tried to get up onto out balcony. This really scared us as anything could have happened. Next thing we know the rep is back saying we have to pay 400 euros or we were being kicked out. The rep assured us she would place us elsewhere so we said right were going, we didn’t want to stay in an unsafe place anyway. Then the owner refused to give us our passports back unless we paid so the whole thing escalated into a big row in the middle of the bar. She was completely unreasonable and wouldn't listen to anything we said. Eventually with some negotiating from the rep) agreed to pay her 50 euros each just to get out of the place and get our passports back.
This was a terrible experience and ruined our holiday. One of my friends was extremely upset for the rest of the holiday. Luckily the place we were moved to was lovely with a really nice bathroom and room and a huge pool and lovely people. Would definitely recommend Oasis Apartments!
I would say go to Malia, it has great nightlife and lots of restaurants and a nice beach but whatever you do don't stay at four Seasons! I would not go back even if I was paid to! All in all a very shoddy establishment!

This is a very basic hotel! Each room has 2 single beds, a very basic toilet, small kitchenette area and an apparent balcony (my room had a simple patio where anyone could walk into). Be aware also that if you accidentally break anything there is a price list for your damage!
You have to pay for your air conditioning, I think that was around 50euros, same with your safe. However, in order for your air conditioning to work you have to fight with a remote control, which ended in myself seeking help from Antonio (the strange pool guy)! Therefore, I must admit when I arrived with a crowd of around 13 friends I felt quite disappointed. The complex was pretty empty until the second week meaning that on the first week there was plenty of room at the small square pool however, on the second week, there was no room at the pool unless you were down there for 9 in the morning securing your place!
Another problem we had in our room was ants! They appeared from nowhere! We also had a problem with a cockroach on the last night.. was not a pleasant experience as it decided to climb into bed with my friend for a snuggle!
The beach was a 30-40min walk! Which was rather exhausting in the heat. However, after a few hours of sunbathing at the pool and a few drinks at the bar, the hotel didn't seem so bad! It was only a 15minute walk from the main strip... always a bonus if like myself, you love your high heels!
As we were with club 18 -30 we paid for all their trips. I would definitely recommend them! The BOOZE CRUISE, BEACH PARTY, PARTY IN THE PARK, PUB CRAWLS, BARBECUES etc, were all worth while and their free bars, mean free bars!
The 24hour bar in the hotel is fantastic! But the best place to start your night off would definitely be the Loft 1euro a drink - amazing!
IMPORTANT NOTE for all young lively individuals - if you bring someone back to your apartment, there is a charge of 30euros! In fact one night ANTONIO decided that I didn't stay in that hotel and decided that I was to leave as I made my way home with my friends! Thankfully they take your passports from you and I had to escort him to mine!
We got on great with the hotel staff until the second week! One of my friends room was broken into, EVERYTHING was taken from them! They had no money at all! However, nothing was done about this, the staff were very unhelpful towards us and although there is CCTV on the complex there was (surprisingly enough) no footage of the break in! It was very obvious to us all, who committed this act but we could not prove it!
On the whole Malia its self is a great holiday! The bars are amazing and the main strip is always busy! Despite the break in myself and friends had a fantastic holiday! We would definitely go back to Malia and book with club 18-30 again. (But watch out for the rose sellers - they are really pick pockets!!)

In all honesty, this hotel is pretty basic. The pool is just a plain square pool. Yhe room had two single beds, table and chairs, oven, kitchen side, shower and toilet. However, I have just returned from here and cannot fault the holiday - it was brilliant!!!
I'm 18 and went with 18-30s. It was my first holiday with my friends and I miss it so much already! The bar was open 24 hours with people always there to talk to, pool tables, internet, delicious food and very friendly staff. I hasten to add though that the age group at this hotel ranged from about 18-25, which was a plus for me! We made friends within the first day and by our last we would be speaking to everyone around the pool (a plus point of having a small pool).
The strip is no more than a 5-10 minute walk depending on how drunk you are. We made this journey and back up to four times a day. To go to the beach, for lunch, for dinner, just a casual drink or to party all night. To add to that, the beach is a further 5 minute walk but taxis are everywhere.
Loads of nice restaurants and if you're fussy there's also a McDonalds, KFC, Domino's pizza, an imitation of Burger King and countless kebab and pizza stops.
If you go with a group the reps inform you that the drink prices are not much different than than at home but this depends. I went in a group of 8 (the bigger the group, the better the deal) we generally would get; first you pay 5 euros (the price of one) and it's normally 4 for the price of 1 with a free shot and a fishbowl for the 8 to share. So we in total pay 40 euros for: 32 drinks (i.e. vodka and redbull-which normally costs about £3 at home per glass!) 8 Sambucca shots and a 'sex on the beach fish bowl' pretty good value!
