Hi – I’m just back from a girls holiday (4 in total) and thought I’d put a review in about the Eleana Apartments as we read mixed reviews and were a bit worried about where we were staying. The hotel was really nice, the room was so tidy and the towels smelt amazing! The eleana is a family run hotel and are all friendly especially Christina who is really lovely and the cleaners are friendly. The strip is a short walk up the road and there is a beach over the road and down a bit which is about 10 minutes too. A taxi will take you to nissi beach for about 8-10 euros. The food at the Eleana is amazing and we eat there almost every night. It was my birthday while I was there and they surprised me with a bit of cake, sparklers and sang happy birthday!
Ayia Napa was a great holiday if you’re really up for partying! Would defo recommend the Eleana Apartments.

The Eleana is a brilliant place to stay if you are looking for a clean room and relaxed stay.
All staff are brilliant and extremmely approachable. meals and drinks are served to the best of there quality.
I most deffnatly advise a stay in these appartments whilst staying in Ayia Napa, i will most certainly be returning and staying here.

We stayed in the Eleana recently and it was absoloutley lovely. We were unsure at first because there was a lot of bad reviews about other apartments but as soon as we arrived at the apartments we were welcomed with a drink. Its a family run business and everyone including the guests were friendly. Its like 5 minutes walk from the square and not to near. There are lovely restaurants just around the corner if a quite meal is what your looking for and 9 Euros in a cab which you can call from the apartments to Nissi Beach. Which is nothing if there are like for of you sharng a cab. A rep is always dere telling you about events such as Foam Partys etc and Booze Cruises or if you wana chill the pool is laid back and right by the bar playing chill out music. We loveeddd The Eleana and will deffo be going back next year. Amazin xxxxxxx

The Eleana apartments are great, staff really friendly and the restaurant in the apartments is really cheap and the food is great. location is great only 5 minutes walk to the square 10 at most but theres loads of bars along the way, the apartments themselves are big and have massive balconies, cleaners are very good and so nice too. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone we loved them

The Eleana appartments are very clean and ideally located near the square. All the staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The bar is great for pre-drinks and meeting other guests as is the pool which is also very clean and offers lots of sunbeds. Definately recommend this place and sad to have left today - will be going back!!

Fantastic staff at the Eleana apartments, very friendly and chatty. Great food and good value compared to some local restaurants. Cleaners come 3-4 times a week but are also very friendly and they seem happy in the job.
Local area and cyprus in general I think is a bit expensive... my parnter and me managed to spend £1600 in two weeks, we bought hardly any gifts and only went on 1 excursion - mainly spent it on eating out so prepare to spend double what you spend in England.
Visited Protaras that was lovely too but STEER CLEAR of the Aquarium in Protaras - we spent 10 Euros each and thought it would be fantastic, however, it turned out to be about 20 tanks in one room, some small sharks, small aligators & birds. Took us 20 minutes to go round the whole place, the bus took about an hour to come aswell so you're best to get a taxi if you desperatley want to see it for yourself.
We also visited Kyrina and Famagusta some of the sites were fabulous - the Turk towns are very different to the other side of the island. you need your passport to cross the border, they are not as friendly and welcoming as the Greek Cypriots.
The thomas cook rep wasnt much help but she was very enthusiastic and did try.
Other reps we met on the holiday and especially in the Larnaca airport were lovely and helpful.
BE WARNED - If you are over your luggage allowance coming Back from Cyprus - they charge 10 EUROS PER KILO and are very strict!!!!!!
If you decide to go - Have a great holiday, Visit nissi beach (beautiful) AND.... TAKE PLENTY OF MONEY!

Just got back from Eleana appartments! they are very nice. the maids come 2 or 3 times a week. the weather wasnt tht good and not all the clubs were open. it is a bit expensive though coz cyprus has just changed to euro. the cheapest pint we got was at the appartmetns and was 220 euro about £1.90. the food at the appartments is very nice specially the pies!!
most of the clubs offer free shots with drinks, however drinks range from 5 euro to 10 euro in most places!
cheapest place we found was ambassaden and we got free tshirts! its full ov cypriots, sweedish n army guys!
it was about a five minute walk to the square and 10 mins to KFC, Maccy d's n burger king!
I definatly reccomend that you go to these appartments!

Been four times to the Eleana Apartments six times to Cyprus - the best holiday ever.
Eleana family owned and run, Christina / family and team doing a 1st class job, everybody very friendly nothing too much trouble.
Apartments / pool and amenities are regularly cleaned by a fantastic team, thanks Maria.
The atmosphere making this an annual pilgrimage! We never want to leave.
Good selection of food at competitive prices, superb location, fifteen minute walk to the square restaurants and nightclubs, so you can always get a good nights sleep.
Would also recommend Rainbow cars and motorbikes as well, always rent a moped for the fun times around the resort and a car to tour, great service, good price and never a problem - ask for Marios.
Thanks all in Cyprus always a great holiday your efforts are appreciated, hope to see you all again next year.

I stayed at the Eleana Apartments with 3 of my friends in July 2011.
First impressions... Got to the hotel very late but were greeted by friendly staff. The appearance of the hotel came as a bit of a shock- we weren't expecting the place to look so run down!
Told by the man who escorted us to our rooms with our luggage to not answer the door to anyone! Which of course, was quite worrying for a group of girls on their first night. We later found out that saleman often knock on people's doors trying to sale deals; fortunately we didnt experience this on our trip.
We were ready to get settled for the night but opened the door to a very dirty room- the smell wasn't too great and there were pubic hairs on the toilet seat!!
We later had a few problems with the air conditioning, such as leaking!! It possibly gave a few of us bad throats and coughs though the alcohol probably didnt help!
The cleaner stopped once during our weeks vacation and did nothing put change the bin- we requested fresh towels as were only given one each at the beginning of the week.
The swimming pool turned every swimming costume yellow, which we were all very disappointed about for our lovely new collection of holiday bikini's were wrecked.
I don't want to be one of these people who moan about everything- there were some very good points to the Eleana. The location was great, just a short walk to the square (where the clubs are), beach practically on your doorstep and lots of shops nearby.
The staff were very friendly- so friendly in fact that we didnt have the heart to complain about the room not being up to scratch.
Another positive note- the food was lovely and inexpensive. Drinks were really rather cheap too!
The overall holiday was brilliant- would 100% go again, for the nightlife inparticular!! Though the beach was beautiful and the weather was cracking too.
We were fortunate and had a very nice Thomas Cook Holiday Rep who made our holiday that much better by providing some great nights out.
I would NOT go back to Eleana Apartments and wouldn't suggest these apartments to anyone- the breaking point for me were the cockroaches in our room.
If only the cleaning aspect was sorted then they'd be on to a winner- very basic but just what you need- bed, shower, fridge for the vodka but not pubes and cockroaches thanks!
