In all the hotel was not to a bad standard, rated at three suns. Air con is charged at 15.00 GBP per week which seemed a bit steep.I would expect this to be free in a warm climate. Generally we had issues with the staff, a low percentage of them understood English, and... more

best holiday ever

this will be our 3rd time at club lion, i find it very clean, very friendly, staff are great, pools are very clean, food is very good, what more can u ask for. going back in june 2010
quality turkish hotel

I have visited this hotel on several occasions and stayed in it for two holidays, it has recently had the rooms refurbished and now include fridge/mini bar and tv at no extra cost. The staff at the hotel are very friendy and efficient without bieng intrusive. The hotel is situated on a hill between the town centre and ladies beach the hill can prove to be a little to much for elderly, dolmus (mini bus) runs to both centre and ladies beach from the main road and both are about a 20 min walk. the food at the hotel is very good with a good...

we have been to turkey many times in the last couple of years,and kusadasi is a very nice place but the lion hotel was not a good place to stay. The hotel was dirty and although the place is good for children trust me dont let them swim in the pool we had 2 children in our party both went down with ear infections with there parents.The hotel staff are helpful and friendly but the general state of the place was very poor. we stayed here for a week in july 2009.it was very clean and the staf were very friendly and helpful. its in a residential area, one small shop next to hotel. its 5 min in a taxi to center of kusadasi. 10 min to ladies beach . the room was cleaned every day.

The staff at the hotel were brillant they would do anything for you. Food was lovely as well. Swimming amazing for kids as they had a selection . Location only 8 mins walk down the sea front it was lovely. Entertainment was the best it was great and i enjoyed it every night except on wednesday as Marco was off then. Yalcin the owner is very nice as well and would do anything to help you and so would sibil...so overall i had a great holiday.

We have just returned from Club Lion Hotel in Kusadasi. Me, hubby, son - 7, son-5 and our friends - a family of three. We'd read on here and similar some not farily dodgy reports so were a little dubious on our arrival. However we were thrilled with what we got. Our inter-connecting rooms were clean and spacious (if slightly lacking in storage space). great family hotel

we stayed here in june and didn,t know anything about it as it was alast minute booking, but it was great, there is such a great family atmosphere here, the pools are fantastic with waterslides open on alternate hours, there is great entertainment also and the food in the restaurant is very cheap and very tasty.we only sayed a week but will we return,as arnie says we will be back, thank you to all the staff for a great holiday

Spent a week in the Hotel Lion in May. Travelled with my sister and two nieces aged 21 and 8 yrs. It was our first time in Turkey. The hotel had only opened a week earlier so we were a bit early in the season and the entertainment only started the week we were there. But on the nights there was entertainment it was good. We had a great time in the hotel, the staff were excellent and made us most welcome.The hotel was very clean and the pools were spotless. My wife and I have recently returned from the Lion Hotel Kusadasi Turkey after spending a great week in the hotel. We went away at short notice not knowing anything about the hotel, but knowing the area very well as my sister in law has a house in Kusadasi and we have been there many times. this hotel is great we have stayed there for the last three years and the group gets bigger every year staff are friendly hotel is clean at the end of the day u get what u pay for two weeks the kids love the pool and the slides entertainment every night short distance from ladies beach nice stroll at night with the kids
