We stayed here this year and had a fantastic holiday. We have a disable child and were told that this place was ideal which it was. Gumbet itself was a bit hilly but easy walkways and most bars and retaurants have staff that helped us in. The apartments were very clean... more

Although we only stayed here for a few hours waiting for our coach to the airport due to being on the last day boat trip we found it to be rubbish! The beds were like sleeping on rocks, the sofa was just as unconfortable and looked unclean. The view from the balcony... more

very nice
we usually stay at the jasmin beach apartments so i was a bit wary this time about going somewhere new, but it was just as nice. the room was basic but clean and was all we needed as we sunbathed all day anyway and only came back to shower. the maids came in everyday and cleaned the bathroom and i think they changed the linen every other day in the 2 weeks we were there which i also found to be very good. we didnt speak to the staff much around the pool area because we prefer the beach but they seemed friendly enough when we did have to, we... more
Loved it!!!
We stayed there and had a lovely time. The bar staff are so friendly and love to play tricks on you. It is a great atmosphere between you and all the staff. The only problem we had was a misunderstanding with the security guards and after that we didnt take to them very well but other than that we will definately go there again!
pile of pap
just came back 15/7/06 kitchen area full of bugs beds break your back maid came 3 times in 14 days but still never mopped floor nothing to do at all bar staff okay if your single and young never realy made you feel welcome maybe give a smile now and then gumbet itself realy boring through day very busy at night about 10 years behind marmaris overall place rubish als doesnt look any thing like picture in brochure just manky trees allover

We have just come back from the Dilek, we stayed ther for 2 weeks and i really didnt want to come home, when i first got to the Dilek i thought what have i done coming hear. but the next few days i realised it was great, the staff are so friendly and cant do enought for you, they are really great and i will miss each and every one of them!! The food was really nice, we ate out a few nights but then ate in the hotel the rest iof the time, the other restaurants and cafes couldnt match the Dilek on food, wr really did enjoy the food. <br... more
Great Hotel The Dilek
We stayed at the dilek the same time as jo and her family and as jo say's it is clean and a good location not to far from beach and the night life is on bar street not for from the dilek the bar staff change each yr but Mike is a young lad from Burnley not far from us in Bolton, and if you get stuck for some where to go mike will tell you all the gossip and the young lads who come to work in the hotel useually come from around turkey and stay for the season so some dont speak alot of english but they do try they work hard and long hour's but... more
EXcellent Holiday
we stayed at the Dilek in June 2005 After persuading my husband and sister to go to turkey which they didn't fancy at all, they both say it is the best holiday they've ever been on and will definitely go back to Turkey if they can stay at the Dilek. Why ? Because the staff are so friendly and cannot be nicer to their guests if they tried. The pool is lovely and clean, the apartments are also spotless and are cleaned by a lovely turkish couple. The food in the Dilek is excellent and dining is alfresco which is superb... more
not bad but watch out for...
This hotel was nice, simple but still nice, it was right near the beach and about a 7 mins walk to clubs and restaurants etc.. There were two main problems when i went to this hotel: one (which isn't the hotels fault) was that you do get quite mithered in the area by everything there is to get mithered by shops, restaurants etc.. and also on the beach. The actual hotel weren't as bad for it. Although in the end we learnt how to deal with this. The second problem was that we were sure we had gotten offered drugs by one of the bar staff at... more
Fantastic hol had by all
My partner and me stayed at dilek in aug 2003 with her sister and her husband and daughter, we had a 100% fantastic holiday, the staff were more than helpful and we found everywhere clean and tidy. We had about 5 fun evenings and a couple of turkish nights which were superb, we had two turkish dancers, a female and a male one(for the ladies lol), also top class break dancers and even traditional turkish folk dancing, needless to say we had to join in them all too. The trips were also very good, we did a boat cruise to Camel beach,... more
room for improvment
Our apartments were very basic e.g no tin opener, no kettle. Had to remove carpet in sitting area due to dirt. maid service good. Entertainment on site very poor. promised much by entertainments manager, only one nights entertainment in two wks holiday. not geared for children. We arrived at Dilek on 5th july 2004 for 2 weeks. Booked trip to water park through entertainments manager and got left there, with three other families, with small children. Had to find our own way back to apartments. Resturant served good food and an excellent... more
No complaints...great holiday
We enjoyed a super family holiday and have no complaints at all. The hotel staff were always friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily. Super pool with a shallower end for non-swimmers. Dilek's location is great - close to town but not in the centre; beach only 5 mins walk away. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family ....we're going again next year!
