A revalation in relaxation from buck1984
A family run hotel with very freindly staff. They are all happy to help and very polite. This is a perfect place to relax and get away from life. YOU MUST TRY THIS HOTEL!!!!
Be Warned from molyneux
Hotel looks pretty from the outside but very basic rooms. I had one plug which was in the bathroom. Cleaners very good, kept rooms nice and clean.If you want to be kept awake all night by the noise of music and loud voices then go to this Hotel.Jacob loves to think he's in with a chance with the girls and he hangs around the bar like a male slapper when there are girls drinking there! (He runs the hotel by the way) Besty is always after the girls as well. Some people had tummy troubles while there and ear infections from the pool.Would I go back there? NO WAY.

Well what can i say and how can i start such an excellent report of how fantastic this place truely is? A taster of paradise is only a small desription of how amazing this hotel should be described? I have travelled to many places and stayed in many 4/5* hotels in some exotic locations but nothing compares to this......not only was this a hotel run by the most amazing and friendly staff this is a hotel run by what we would clasify as our family. I have never in my life felt so close and part of a group of people as the staff at the yildiz. With only being awat from them not even 24hrs i feel very sad and low wishin more than anything in the world that i am back there now. Gumbet beach is so close along with the shops,bars and and restaturnat to enjoy.The staff cannot do enough for you and admitedly i did at times feel guilty with the superior treatment we were offered..... well of course everyone has their own opinons but us 4 girls cannot say a bad word about this place and planning to go back either next month and at least 3/4 weeks next yr. 12/10 by far and thanks to all of you, you know who you are....love you all... xxxxxxxxxx Stacy, Engand. :)
This is an excellent hotel in a great location. from thecage
What a wonderful place to stay. Jacop, Onur and all the other staff make you feel like one big family. The atmosphere is great and the food is wonderful. You must try the pot kebab but don't have a starter as you'll be too full! Just under 10 mins walk from the beach and just around the corner from many bar, clubs and eating places it is in a great location. Me and my girlfriend Caroline have just come back after a weeks stay and were so sad to leave. 10 out of 10. Regards from the beles gi (free man).

me and my partner stayed here for 2 weeks, and did not want to come home, i cant explain how great the people at the hotel really are! They will do any thing for you, i moved 3 times until i found a room i liked witha big balcony! and that was no effort for them what so ever, when it was time to go it was very sad, all the staff came and waved us off, would i return? with out a doubt!!!!!!!
Yildiz - a turkish delight from kebabman
As we have stayed here for many years we feel compelled ( if somewhat reluctantly, as we don't want too many people to find out about it) to tell people what a jewel the Yildiz is. The hotel is situated close to the bars and beach and is excellent in all aspects. The rooms, although basic by european standards, have an air of turkishness about them which is part of the charm of the hotel. They are always immaculately clean and tidy as is the rest of the hotel. The pool and surrounding area is well maintained with plenty of sunbeds and shady areas should it get too hot! The staff are excellent and always cater for your every need - nothing is too much trouble for them and the food is excellent with huge portions. I recommend going traditionally Turkish, the foods delightful. To end, all i would like to say is - thankfully small family run hotels like this one still exist that remind us that the individual is important and not just their money, and while they still have their caring thoughtful approach to their guests people will continue to return for many years to come.
An oasis of relaxation from PKUK
From our first visit 3 years ago, we have grown to love this little hotel. The staff are very friendly and love to banter ..especially if you try to speak in Turkish !!. The rooms are clean and fairly basic but comfortable. The pool is always immaculate and there are plently of sun beds. The hotel is only 2 mins from a selection of bars and restaurants. My personal favourites are Chinatown and The Roxy Bar, but there are several others in the vacinity. In 5 visits we have never encountered any trouble or "lager louts" . And ventured home in the "wee small hours a few times" !! without problems, unless the wife wanting a new handbag at 3am is a problem !! Anyway I hope you enjoy your visit. PK
Fantastic from Seasider
This hotel has to be the best in Gumbet. Small family run hotel the staff are awesome and so friendly. The food is great and the theme nights are a brilliant laugh. Was in 2 minds whether to write a report about this hotel as it is an undiscovered gem. I cant recommend this place highly enough, infact my sisters and I are going back this year!!
