Sunrise Park Resort and Spa

wow this has got to be one of the nicest hotels i have stayed in for the money we payed. went with my girlfriend and just got back. we couldnt have had a better time. When we arrived, it was shocking to see how big the hotel was. It had 11 restaurants, more than 10 pools for sure, plenty of facilities such as an aqua park, disco, even a stable for horseriders! The staff were nice, although i felt for them cause they had to work hard in 30+ degree weather. Was so nice to have everything for free, such as drinks (including alcohol), plenty plenty plenty of food, watersports, etc. I found the hotel suitable for anyone such as families, couples, singles, kids, etc. They just had so much for everyone to do. One night was having a romantic walk near the beach with my girlfriend and they even had blacklight badmington at night which looked really cool. The disco was also nice. it was hilarious watching russians, germans, turks, and brits dancing together. i found it quite funny how little fifteen year olds could party with no restrictions. thats what i kinda loved about this hotel. They werent uptight about rules and stuff. Girlfriend and I got pissed one night and had a dip in the pool at 3 in the morning. water was so nice and warm! anyways im not gonna ramble on. only downside of the hotel i thought were the russians. maybe its just a difference in culutre but they arent as polite as English people. They dont like waiting in queues or they didnt treat the staff that politely e.g. thank you, please, etc. Anyways it didnt ruin my holiday. Had an amazing time. I reccomend going to the Truva club next to the hotel. drink prices are expensive but they brought on a live band which was great. hmm.. also you definitley need to go to manavgat and check out selale (the waterfall). side center is nice, but make sure to haggle when buying stuff. oh and dont be conned by fake perfumes. the quality is horrible. anyways this is a review about the hotel and not side so ill stick to the subject. Great place, would definitley go again! never had a problem finding sunbeds which im sure kept the peace between the germans and the brits lol. anyways, 5 star for sure!! A++++++

The Hotel its self was very clean and tidy, the cleans were great. Some and i mean some of the staff where ok. Most of them do not speak or understand english. It was full of Russians and Germans that where very very Rude. They even were pushing my 7 year old daughter around. I do not recommend this hotel to any English people for the full 2 weeks we only met a few english people. We payed alot of money for this holiday after the sad loss of my father-in-law. We where all inclusive on two occasions i went to the Bar for a bottle of water to be told there wasnt any. I was told that the shop on site could sell me a bottle. I Myself thought that this was included.This was the worst holiday of my life.

just got back on 30th june, well were do i start arrived at hotel about 2.30 in morning bar open for drinks all free..early morning breakfast 1 till 6 in morning great..stayed in bungalow rooms well lets just say they were great...went as a family of 6 had 2 rooms..food served all day 24 hours and bar open 24 hours which was exellent never been in a 24 hour alinclusive before ..mini fridge filled with coke orange sprite water all free...food was top quality so much choice never had a problem finding something to eat also had snack bars serving pizza, chips kebabs, salad pasta, burgers ect... this is a large hotel with beautiful gardens swimmingpools were great aqua park is great for all ages ...could not fault hotel at all only thing was to many russions well lets just say every meal time was like there last piled up plates that all went to waste its something to be seen sat there one day watching a 2 year old with his plate filled up with 5 steaks piles of chips and salad well i thought english people could eat .....it was pure gread and wastful but apart from this we had such a fantastic holiday and would not hesitate to return to this hotel should be at least a 5 star....barbeque every meal time....be prepared to put on weight food and puddings exellent...entertainment all day ....beach at bit stoney grit like sea was lovely and warm...massive sea front never find a problem find sun beds always plenty free towels changed every day so leave your towels at home ...... kids club was great ...disco 11 till 3 every night drinks all free foam party never saw my daughter all holiday .....didnt want to go home .......book this hotel great family hotel been going to turkey for 9 years now best hotel ive been to.........

ABSOLUTLY TOP CLASS we just got back yesterday and i cannot fault this place from staff to food to cleanliness you name it its all A1 book your holiday with confidence here you will not be disapointed the only down side and this has nothing to do with the resort is RUSSIANS they have no manners what so ever BUT i found act as they do when there around and you will be ok if not forget getting to the bar or food they will just take it all up before you get a chance.Im so impressed where booking up for naxt year i cant praise this place enough worht every star its rated infact give it another one..

I actually went here in Sep 2005, and Im honestly have to say....WOW!!!! What an absolutely fantastic hotel thisis.....so much so that I am going back with My partner on 13/11/2005 for 2 weeks!! When I came here for the first time it was to visit my daughter who was working here at this hotel for thomas cook so I actually stayed with her in her own apartment as opposed to at the Hotel, although all the hotel facilities were available to me for a small supplement. Food - Excellent!!! Surprised I did not put one lashings of weight!!!! Hotel Staff - Again EXCELLENT Hotel Facilities - Perfect, Excelent Yes I do however agree with some people who say that the shop owners at the Bazzaars and in Side Town do try to hassle you for business, but I never found any of them offensive when I refused their offers - be them sale related or otherwise!!!! I am really looking forward to going back next week and hope that my stay is as enjoyable as when I stayed last time.....Will keep you posted!

We came back from the Sunrise Resort, on the 17th October. The food was all to cater for the Germans And the Russians, I have not known such rudeness, you could not get served at the lobby bar. Due to the these other guest would spread theirselves along the bar.After 3days I came down with a bad stomach, don't need to give the full details. A lot of the other guests complained about their stomachs. The food was never kept warm properly, you could never find a table, the dinning room staff was rushed of their feet.There was not enough staff to go around. Our room was kept very clean, we over looked another resort, they had a disco going till 3am. We were at the back of the hotel, this overlooked the kitchens also, they had a chimmney which gave off foul smelling smoke. We love Turkey, this is our 6th time, all I can say to those who had a bad experence at Sunrise. Do not let it put you off Turkey.

we went to this hotel last october and it was our first trip to Turkey and what a fantastic hotel. It should have been a 5 star in my opinion it had everthing even a cinema for the kids. The russians and the Germans were a little annoying but we didnt let them spoil our holiday we would definately go there again the food was freat lots of choice accomodation was brilliant the only fault was the entertainment at night sometimes it wasnt suitable for children but the grease night and the opera night was good. Cant wait to go again

We recently returned from a weeks holiday at Sunrise, we have 3 boys and they all loved the place, it was safe and they could run around with their friends. The apartments were great and kept very clean. The food was as good as the more expensive club med and there was a lot of variety, I don't know how anyone could not find something they liked! It was good for the kids to try different food and eat lots of fruit! There are alot of germans and russians there but its no problem. The only complaints we had was searching for the ice cream stall which only comes out for 2 hours a day - at lunch and evening (1 hour each) and it is hidden so you can't find it! and the barmen tend to ignore the children if they are getting a drink. Other than that which is not a big deal we had a great time. You should have a turkish bath at the spa it is great. Overall we couldn't fault it and it is great value for money.

I went to the Sunrise March/April this year and now I am just back from my second trip there. It was so amazing! There were a lot more new staff who are all amazing. I got on very well with Jimmy, Apollo and Hero. They are hilarious! Food was a lot better this time. They have a new Waterfall restaurant which is gorgeous. Since last time, they have built new bungalows as well. Entertainment at night consists of a childrens disco, which is great to watch and the songs end up growing on you! After that they have their show which can be anything from unbelievable dance shows to comedy sketches, either way they are great. After that there would be some sort of dance thing at the Waterfall restaurant and then the club opens until around 3am. They sometimes have foam parties in the club and it's not as I expected. It lasted for AGES and everyone got COVERED from head to toe in foam. The DJ is amazing, plays great songs. During the day there are many activities for you to choose from so you should not be bored. There are a lot of pools, restaurants and bars (even a 24 hour one) so you should find one to suit your needs. Every week the animation team take you into Side to the Apollo club which is well worth going to. You get no hassle at all and you end up having a great night. Bus leaves at 11pm and you get back on it around 3am. The grounds in the hotel are great. It is a huge place, great for going a walk around. Have a look at the photos I have posted up and book the hotel! Honestly, you will NOT regret going to this hotel. Can't wait until I go back again in a few months.

I have just got back from my 2nd trip to this hotel infact my first one was just 3 months ago, we decided to return so soon as we feel it is amazing. The hotel is excellent value you definetly get your moneys worth! The food is excellent for both adults and children and also fussy eaters, some of the food may look different to your country but try it as all food is different! There is the main restaurant by reception which is a buffet, the fish restaurant, turkish restaurant and a'la carte restaurant along with a snack bar during the day and they even have a new restaurant build which wasn't finshed when we were there in April, The Waterfall Restaurant it's called and it is so beautiful ver popular. It is surrounded by a beautiful pool and waterfall with beautiful little lights inside and after the showtime which the animation team prepare every evening you can head over for some dancing before going along to the club! One more thing about the restaurants is that you can visit the main restaurant by reception after dinner hours for something to eat if you have missed dinner for example speghetti bolognese. Although if you are like me you might not eat much on holidays as the sun makes you want to drink more..however there is a wide variety. There is plenty of bars serving excellent cocktails might i add! something for everyone! The animation team were excellent best part of the holiday they are all so funny! The kids disco before the show is excellent and all the children seem to really enjoy it. Afterwards is the show by the animation team which it absolutey hilarious you can't miss it! They always have great ideas and for me it's the best hotel entertainment i have ever seen! The dancers are also great they seem so professional! During the day there are a wide range of activities for people of all ages and a pool game every day which anyone can take part in. There is always plenty of great atmosphere no matter were abouts in the hotel you are, especially the Botanik Pool were the pool games are played along with music in the background. There is so much to take part in such as darts, archery, beach volleyball, boccia, water polo, and yoga/aerobics! The night club opened shortly after the evening's entertainement is excellent the always have different things going on for example there was a foam party when we were there which was great! Staff are all very friendly and always willing to help. Rooms are air conditionened with plenty of space and a good sized balcony, the cleaners o an excellent job they make sure it is always very clean and tidy. The pools are great a good pool for everyone i would say is the front Botanik pool as i have already mentioned. If the kids want a fun place to go i would definetly say the aqua park were there are water flumes and small slides for younger children. If you are looking to relax then the relaxing pool is for you, it has a swim up bar that i'm sure you'll love! Another thing i loved about this hotel was going for a walk arounf the place because it is huge and has beautiful gardens to have a stroll at day or night! Overall i have to say my favourite part of this hotel was the evening entertaiment and going to the night club after for a lot of dancing woth everyone!
