The Marina Azul complex is kept spotlessly clean and the apartments are well presented.
The pool is lovely and even in the peak holiday period, we only had a few bathers. Sun loungers are provided for use by residents or their guests. We felt that it was a really safe environment for young children.
It is about 8 minutes walk down to the leisure port where there are a number of well priced restaurants, a supermarket, an English pub and a few other shops.
You can't swim at the port but if you make a short walk along the coast, you can swim off the rocks which are ideal for snorkelling.
The whole area is peaceful and certainly more up-market than Puerto del Carmen.
