Stayed at this hotel by default really , me and my friends booked to stay at another hotel (Piscis Park) but then came on trip advisor and it worried us about how bad it was so we cancelled it and booked the blue star. This hotel for us was Fabulous, we had the biggest room right at the front with a double balcony - i wasn't really bothered that we were facing the road it was fun to nosey at people when they walked past!. The staff were brilliant our room was cleaned almost everyday the bathroom was absolutely immaculate and it was massive! Really can't fault anything about this place, its really basic and clean. Would go back tomorrow.
excellent apartments

Me and three friends stayed at the apartments in sept 07. The staff are very helpfull and the apartments very clean a maid cleaned ours six times during our one week stay. The apartments are in San Antonio bay but a ferry runs every half hour across to San Antonio and only costs 2 euro but the ferry service ends at midnight so after that time you have to use taxis and like any busy resort it may take a while to get one.On the whole the stay at the Blue Star Apartments was well worth the money.
don't stay here!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and 5 friends stayed at this apartment. We met some real nice girls from newcastle. Don't get me wrong, i had a great time no thanks to the hotel. We met 24 girls from newcastle to go with our 6 boys so a total of 30 teenagers. On the last day of our stay, an incident happened without our involvement however the 6 boys got blamed with no evidence. There were a couple of girls sleeping in their room at about 7am also on their last day, hours before our coach was due to arrive, when we heard a bang from above. The girls ran to our room to tell us the problem. A drunken man had broke the lock on their door, while also damaging another door. The manageress told us we had to pay 1000€ or else we were going to miss our flights. We wanted to see evidence we done wrong but there was none. They told us there were cameras but they were not used. Problems worsened when the police arrived, obviously they took the side of the hotel. A girl had seen this man who damaged the doors, however they did not listen. In the end we paid the money, many people we have told believe it could have been set up. Teenagers, last day, no money left. So if you still want to go ibiza, then go. But please don't stop here if you don't want any trouble. From NG
Really Nice apartments

We got our apartments as a late deal so didnt think the apartments would be brilliant. However we were very suprised! It got off to a pretty bad start when out flight was delayed 6 hours!!! The 1 bed apartments are huge and we had a massve balcony and terrace, huge bedroom with fitted wardrobes and also a lovely bathroom. It was all very clean and comfortable. The Beach was only 5 mins away but wasn't the best and sunbeds were quite cheap, however me and my partner went on day trips and things. We'd highly reccomend Ibiza Town at Night and the Hippy Market on a Wednesday but don't go with the tour operators they charge loads when u can get it half price on your own!! So to conclude the apartments are well worth it as is Ibiza!! xxxx

Myself and partner and 2 children really enjoyed it at the blue star apts, It is a clean friendly place to go. The accomodation was cleaned the towels changed daily. The staff where great. My children really got on well with claire at the apts she didnt have to take time out to sit and chat with my girls but she did, which was nice to see. Whilst there we had a very bad storm which smashed all the plant pots and globe lights which shattered into the pool, it was cleaned up before we woke up. The food was also very nice. the beach was just 5 minutes round the side of the accom. We will be returning later this year, hopefully all the same people will be there.

We went with our 3 children and had an excellent stay at Blue Star. Due to misunderstanding by the Travel Agent we arrived a day early - at 3.30 in the morning! Nevertheless, Staff found us a room until our own Apartment was ready and they took care of the extra cost. We had a night flight home and again, the staff were very helpful in arranging taxis for us. (thanks to the Taxi co. for their efficiency - on time!). Our apartment was cleaned regularly and bins emptied through the week, the bedding changed and clean towels provided twice during the week we were there. There are lots of places to eat and the Casablanca is close by for early evening family entertainment. All in all, a good place to stay - clean, close to all amenities.

From the moment i arrived I knew I would like this hotel. Its very clean with a cool feel marble effect reception/lounge area. The rooms are of an adequate size and clean with a fridge/freezer, microwave and hob. We planned to cook cheaply in the apartment but actually only cooked once due to the good local restaurants and Blue stars poolside cafe/bar. The cafe served everything from full english breakfasts to sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta and salads and was all at a decent price and of good quality. Travelling in a huge group of 28 we were all very pleased with the service and the Thomas Cook Reps were AMAZING!!!! Lets say we had our little or larger problems but the reps and the staff at the hotel were enormously helpful, especially with the local services when they didn’t speak a word of English and us no Spanish. I was slightly worried when they put 28 eighteen year olds in a family hotel. However rest assured that the hotel told us when we had been too noisy and issued us with warnings which made us be more careful. The hotel also provided computers downstairs with internet access for a Euro for approx. 20 mins. There was likewise a coin operated washer and dryer. At reception there is also a small shop selling things such as alcohol, beans, crisps and sweets. There are 2 pool tables, one outside and one inside. The hotel also boasts 2 swimming pools although not massive the are clean and large enough to swim and cool off in. The best part I think about the hotel pool area however is the covered seating. Being fair skinned it provided shade all day and was a pleasant place to sit when not cooling off in the pool. All in all I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I had a thoroughly good time.
Just Dont Do It!!!

Guys listen, dont go to this hotel, apartment what ever you want to call it. The staff are unhelpful and the hotel is just badly organised. we stopped after there for one week and dont get me wrong we had an awsume time in ibiza but it was no thanks to this place. they didnt clean the room 5 days. After 4 days we had to ask for fresh towels and sheets not forgetting the temp. was mid to top 30's. we went down to reception to ask if someone could empty the rubbish and mop the floor. as we need been there for 4 days and the rubbish was starting to pile up. the english speaking reception never even appologised and then rudely asked us to bring the rubbish down ourselves. After 5 days it was eventualy cleaned in a half hearted manor there was still a bit of rubbish around but it was certainly better than before. although we never did get any sort of appology. Also the last night was a nightmare, we had paid for a late check out which menat we could keep the room till 5 rather than 12 but after that there is no where to have a shower or even anyway to get some rest, the staff are generally unhelpful and really dont care about your holiday. they wouldnt even switch the tv on for us on the last night when we had to wait 3 hours for a coach. theres no air con and in that heat you need it. one night we checkd the thermometer and it was around 27 C at 12 Midnight. The other thing is that i had a look on the net for it before i left and saw a picture of the hotel next to the beach, this is actually a different hotel and the hotel is not on a beach instead its about a 5 minute walk away one side looks over a busy bar ridden street the other looks over the pools and a bit of waste land. its loud until around 4 am. Lastly the pool isnt cleaned enough i have a horrid cough and cold along with 2 other of my friends which came on a short time after we had been in the pool. Basically go to ibiza its a brilliant holiday and a gorgeous island just dont stop at the Blue Star Apparmtents

I went to ibiza with my wife and two children Lewis and Charlie. At first we were very wary of what is what going to be like as this was our first holiday abroad. After a 3 hour delay at Cardiff airport(technical problem with plane) we arrived in Ibiza Airport at approx 7.30am. Our half an hour bus ride to the hotel was in a much needed air conditioned coach. We found no info whatsoever on our hotel apart from the official JMC website. So on the understanding that no news is good news.......Our arrival at Apartments Blue star was greeted with a pretty new and modern building which seemed to be kept very well maintained. The rooms were very clean, nice double bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and spacious balcony. As our holiday went on we found very helpful owners and staff (especially Claire at reception - Our unofficial Rep.) Claire was the only staff member who wasn't related to the owners but overall we found that she helped us out with various things as if she owned the hotel! The three pools were always kept clean and tidy, the food served in the cafe/bar was of a high standard and all drinks were very refreshing especially the san miguel in the frozen glass! My only recomendation to the hotel would be to invest in air conditioning and to give Claire a pay rise!!!! Evening entertainment could be found in many a place along San Jose but we mostly opted for the Casablanca Hotel with the Thomson Reps, Ray Moss and the regular cabaret artists(Top Marks to the drag act Diamond Class-Top Entertainment lads.) All in all I can unreservedly recomend Apartments Blue Star, the owners, their staff and the resort of San Antonio Bay as an ideal place for a great family holiday and we will definately return to this hotel in the near future.
Have no faults with the place, very friendly staff
