Me, my Boyfriend, Sister and her boyfriend (21,23,19,23 yrs old) went to ibiza the last week in may saying at blue star. hotel staff where very friendly and helpful. for what we paid it was well worth it. because the hotel was not in the centre of san antonio there wasnt any noise and there was still plenty of things to do near by and was easy to get to san antonio by ferry. most days we just walked- about 2 miles each way. the only issues we had was bed sheets smelling damp.otherwise throughly enjoyed stay

" Our first holiday abroad all together... "
Submitted By: Mrs L Clarke
Our first holiday abroad all together was FANTASTIC! The hotel was perfectly situated close to shops and bars. It was clean and well organised. We were made very welcome. We ate in the hotel most days as the food was inexpensive and good quality. We relaxed in the day whilst the younger guests slept of their partying. Some miserable guest moaned about noise but it was only clubbers coming home and for a few minutes.
We took the ferry to town and watched the sun set... We loved it...Our perfect moment.

" The apartments were clean with... "

The apartments were clean with adequate facilities. Reception staff were helpful. We asked to move to a quieter room because I was having trouble sleeping and we were moved the next morning.
Pool area was large, there were 2 large pools and a children’s splash pool. There were plenty of loungers, a pool table, and table tennis table and bar and eating area. In the inside bar area there was another pool table, a seating area and TV. All areas were kept clean. The bar wasn't expensive and the food was good. We would go back.
There was no best priced supermarket, the one with the cheapest beer was expensive for bread, and the one with cheap bread had slightly more expensive beer. It does pay to shop around.
The best beach we found was Port Des Torrent. You can catch a bus or its a 10 minute walk. There are a few restaurants and the watersports are the cheapest we saw.
If you are looking for a good Chinese meal then despite what it says in the JMC book DO NOT go to GRAN CHINA.
Taj Mahal does a good curry and is part of a complex of 4 restaurants, you can sit in any you wish and order from any of the others, handy if you all want different things.
The Chinese and the Pizzeria looked and smelt good too. The fourth restaurant served international food. We were sat too far away to see the food.
Jackie Browns does nice food in a nice atmosphere, tables are in a tree lined courtyard. Priced was good too. three courses for 10.95 euro.
Even if you haven't tried Thai food I recommend you visit the Thai restaurant near to Jackie Browns (might be called Muay Thai), starter, main, sweet and a drink for 10.50 euro. The special menu is limited but good. There's a full menu too. Lager is 1.75 for a half.
In San Antonio go to Tex Mex Cantina if you like Mexican.
If you fancy going diving we went with Seahorse diving based at Port Des Torrent beach. You and book it there or in San Antonio.
Definitely head to sunset strip in evening and have a nice relaxing drink watching the sunset.

All in all the holiday was great, our apartments were clean, tidy and well equiped for the 2 off us. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions even if they were not to do with the apartments.
Ibiza itself is a gorgeous island, well kept and plenty to do not just a party island as its renowned for. Would definately recommend Ibiza to anyone and the Blue Star apartments were great value for the money we paid for this holiday.
