Sad to be home

Well, Just got back from a fantastic holiday.... Sadly it was only for a week. Been to this hotel a few times now. It is a fantastic hotel, staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the pools are lovely after baking in the sun all day. The food is excellent and the bar is brilliant. The kids had the computers to update Facebook like they do. We were a party of 10 aging from 16 to 42, there was plenty to do for all ages in the resort. The Florida Park is straight opposite the hotel with trampolines, pool tables and the bull. I found the cocktails and beer was reasonable priced, and only a stag back across the road to our appartment. Thank You to all at Blue Star, See you next year. Debbie Howland

Stayed here middle of june for a girly holiday. Rooms were clean and spacious. There were two rooms with two double beds which could be seperated if need be and a large sofa which could be slept on if needed. Bathroom was nice to. The pools were small but there were two and a kiddy pool. Always beds free as nobody seemed to stay at the pool. Internet in the lobby and snack bar. The road the hotel was located on only had only a small run of pubs but all were lively and friendly, loads of shops and markets and plenty of places to eat. The resturant at the top of the road to the right is really nice, sorry cant remember the name and the latenight snack bar over the road does great kebab wraps. The boat was only about a five min walk to go to the town. We only did this once as it was very expensive in san antonio. We hardly spent any money where we were, meals were reasonable and we bought jugs of cocktails which were very generous measures. Definintely the place to go if you want to party on a smaller scale but without all the idiots. Check out millenium bar, we had a wicked night in there. Everyone is so friendly. The beach is nice but not very big, make sure you take your own drinks as the beach bar is rediculasly expensive. Would go there again definitely

I stayed in these apartments on a stag doo at the end of may, The staff were great, The pools were clean, The beach is only 2 mins walk away as is the taxi boat over to San Antonio.
It is what it is, Its not a 5 star hotel, the rooms are basic but are always clean and comfy.
Really enjoyed our trip were all heading back next year again.

My financee and I stayed in these apratments in mid september. Before going on holiday I was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews about these apartments as they were very mixed, but now I can write my own review. Apon arriving at the apartments we were met with a vey clean and well presented reception area. Our rooms were not ready when we first arrived but we were able to put our luggage in a locked room while we took a stoll to find our bearings and see what san an bay had to offer. Everything was great a very clean resort with plenty of bars and shops and lots to do. The ferry over to san an was great way off getting over to the town.
All in all the holiday was great, our apartments were clean, tidy and well equiped for the 2 off us. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions even if they were not to do with the apartments.
Ibiza itself is a gorgeous island, well kept and plenty to do not just a party island as its renowned for. Would definately recommend Ibiza to anyone and the Blue Star apartments were great value for the money we paid for this holiday.

Me, my Boyfriend, Sister and her boyfriend (21,23,19,23 yrs old) went to ibiza the last week in may saying at blue star. hotel staff where very friendly and helpful. for what we paid it was well worth it. because the hotel was not in the centre of san antonio there wasnt any noise and there was still plenty of things to do near by and was easy to get to san antonio by ferry. most days we just walked- about 2 miles each way. the only issues we had was bed sheets smelling damp.otherwise throughly enjoyed stay

Our first holiday abroad all together...

Our first holiday abroad all together was FANTASTIC! The hotel was perfectly situated close to shops and bars. It was clean and well organised. We were made very welcome. We ate in the hotel most days as the food was inexpensive and good quality. We relaxed in the day whilst the younger guests slept of their partying. Some miserable guest moaned about noise but it was only clubbers coming home and for a few minutes.
We took the ferry to town and watched the sun set... We loved it...Our perfect moment.

The apartments were clean with adequate facilities. Reception staff were helpful. We asked to move to a quieter room because I was having trouble sleeping and we were moved the next morning.
Pool area was large, there were 2 large pools and a children’s splash pool. There were plenty of loungers, a pool table, and table tennis table and bar and eating area. In the inside bar area there was another pool table, a seating area and TV. All areas were kept clean. The bar wasn't expensive and the food was good. We would go back.
There was no best priced supermarket, the one with the cheapest beer was expensive for bread, and the one with cheap bread had slightly more expensive beer. It does pay to shop around.
The best beach we found was Port Des Torrent. You can catch a bus or its a 10 minute walk. There are a few restaurants and the watersports are the cheapest we saw.
If you are looking for a good Chinese meal then despite what it says in the JMC book DO NOT go to GRAN CHINA.
Taj Mahal does a good curry and is part of a complex of 4 restaurants, you can sit in any you wish and order from any of the others, handy if you all want different things.
The Chinese and the Pizzeria looked and smelt good too. The fourth restaurant served international food. We were sat too far away to see the food.
Jackie Browns does nice food in a nice atmosphere, tables are in a tree lined courtyard. Priced was good too. three courses for 10.95 euro.
Even if you haven't tried Thai food I recommend you visit the Thai restaurant near to Jackie Browns (might be called Muay Thai), starter, main, sweet and a drink for 10.50 euro. The special menu is limited but good. There's a full menu too. Lager is 1.75 for a half.
In San Antonio go to Tex Mex Cantina if you like Mexican.
If you fancy going diving we went with Seahorse diving based at Port Des Torrent beach. You and book it there or in San Antonio.
Definitely head to sunset strip in evening and have a nice relaxing drink watching the sunset.
