my husband and i stayed in Myra hotel for a week on arrival we were met by a member of staff who greated us and took our cases of us, we went to reception got or key and staff member brought or cases to room for us this was the only holiday i have been on and treated like this witch is a nice touch.
food was nice hot food portions small but you can go back up and get more at any time good variety of salads, breakfast was good to good variety fruit at all meals and very fresh, tea and coffee available all day, alcaholic drinks was ok to after all when you go on holiday you expect to drink local drinks takes a while to get used to but ok
staff at all times were smilling and very helpfull on one of the days a elderly man had taken a heart attack at poolside and staff relised the gentleman looked unwell before any one else called medics and got man to hospital and looked after gentlemans wife very well after
i have booked my holiday to go back next year already and i only came home yesterday

Iv just returned from the Myra Hotel this afternoon as it happens and I would NEVER go back ,we had a 2 hr drive in a grotty little mini bus after having to wait over an hr for 2 people to show up ,who never arrived .As soon as we walked thro the main entranc I thought Omg the place is a dump the dining tables you see as soon as you walk in before you get to reception .we stayed a wek and I didnt change my opinion at all .our room was on the ground floor ,which is very handy ,trouble was it overlooked the bar but the view we had was a massive bush that covered the whole of the balcony so no view or sunlight dont go in room 101 ,the food was awful ,my friend lved on bread most of the week as she couldnt eat the stuff they put out,we got child dize portions and had to fill the plate up with salad ,we had green beans and rice one day for lunch .kebad meat and chips for dinner that night and the salad was recyced from the meal the day before but covered in yoghort or some other sauce to camaphlarge it .the wine was like vinegar and the mixers for the gin or vodka was cheap crap from a plastic bottle .I would give this a 2 star rating and thats being generous met some lovely people which made our stay a lot bareable .we counted 34 sunbeds for about 70 people so if you want one be up at the crack of dawn to get one .

when my wife and i arrived there we where graceully put into the attic. that room was like something from holloways prison. we asked the rep if they could move us to another room and they racefully did this. our first impressions where ( why the hell did we book this hotel ? ) but after the first day we settled in and had a great 12 days. the staff where fun and friendly and the people we met there where great.there where a lot of dutch and russian tourists there, but i must admit to my astonishment that the dutch people that where there where great fun and very friendly..( especialy nick from rotterdam and herman the marine..) there was about 30 off them and we got on great with them all. we also met a few people from england and scotland and we had a ball with them..a few drinks to much and built up a great friendship also..the hotel was very basic. but for the price we paid we didnt excpect to much. the food was basic ( most of all salad ) but was ery good and we didnt eat out much as we enjoyed the food..the inclusive drinks where vodka gin tuborg draught and soft drinks..you can have this from 10am until 11pm..i can honestly say that there is absaloutley nothing for kids to do and there is no entertainment on. so dont expect to much from this hotel, but its what you make it...

my wife son and i have just returned form marmaras and stayed for 2 weeks all inclusive at the myra hotel. having read previous reviews we expected the hotel to be small quiet and friendly. the hotel was o.k.for a 3 star food was repetative but the worst part was at night. guests were coming in all night right up till 8 o clock in the morning banging doors shouting and could not care less for the other guests the management did not even try to address this problem and if anything it got worse. this spoilt holidays for a number of guests and said they will not be going there again. dont think we will be going to this hotel again.

this holiday was the only week we could manage this year so we decided to go all inclusive. We read the details on the myra hotel and thought it looked perfect so booked it. On arrival we realised it was not as advertised. We were greated by grumpy staff and shown to a dingy room with twin beds(not the double i had booked). The food was terrible and if you weren't in the que 10 minutes before it was served then there was none left. Barstaff were slimey and if you weren't a young female you were overlooked at the bar. I sent my girlfriend to the bar as we thought she had more chance of getting served but this just resulted in her being letched over and made to feel uncomfortable. All inclusive ended at 11pm and from 10:30pm it was 1 drink per person at the bar. This rule would be fine if it applied to everyone. If i went to the bar and ordered a drink for myself and my girlfriend (who they could see was sat at the table) they wouldn't allow it saying she had to come get her own. However on many occasions a young lady would come up, order a tray of drinks for 8 of her friends and this was allowed. It is a pity because Marmaris is a wonderful place and every other part of our holiday was brilliant.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. This was our honeymoon and we felt we got very good value for the price we paid, especially in high season.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, good fun and highly professional. Room was clean and comfortable, maid service excellent. Can't praise the staff highly enough.
The hotel is a short walk from beach and shops.
Plenty of nice restaurants and Bars, clubs and nightlife.
Bus servce amazing, buses every few minutes, cheap and helpful.

I have visited Marmaris a lot over the last 10 years and stayed in various apartments and hotels. This is in a great location. The hotel was clean, the staff fabulous and the food was lovely. No burger and chips but lots of great salds, chicken, soup, lasagne etc. There was only one night I didn't like the meal and I ate out for a change. For the price of this hotel it was fabulous and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and I hope I can return there soon.

We went to stay at the Myra hotel may 2009. At first i was unsure about the hotel as it was small. Yes the food is not the best in the world but for what you pay its brilliant. The rooms are always very clean.
The staff are the hotels best asset. They are helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble for them. They really made our holiday. We have already planned our next holiday with them in September and cannot wait to see them all again.

Hotel below average. No fridges in rooms and no where in the hotel to get a hot or cold drink once the all inclusive has finished. Food is ok although limited. Some form of eggs each breakfast. We were there 7 days and 5 out of 7 evening meals were Chicken. Not enough sun beds for the amount of guests by the pool, which is very small.
Bar closes 5 minutes to 11 each night so get in early.
Weather was glorious which made up for the shoddy hotel.
