hotel was exellent rooms were exceptional .......as for the food plenty of choice and so much always piping hot.been in lots of 5 stars and would recomend this one .bar staff were always smiling had a great laugh with them so they always looked after us making us special cocktails most nights ,just before midnight we orderd as many drinks as we wanted and carried on drinking till early hours never once was refused a drink .the staff work long hours for little pay and are treated with little respect some of the guests staying hear were very rude .expect to much from them .reading some comments on here they must be right moaners because everyone we spoke to loved the hotel .....as for complaining about bar staff well there paid a pitance not there to wait on u full time .alround good hotel if u complain about this then all i can say u must be very hard to please .so take no notice of bad comments and enjoy your holiday because you will love it ,

Nice hotel, newly built to a high standard, poorly managed by ignorant staff.
Claims to be 5 star all inclusive reckon its a would be 3 star at a push.
Food pretty mediocre, similar lunch and dinners.
Restrictions imposed during stay by management on number of drinks allowed to be served to an individual and where you were allowed to take them.
3 adults and 1 child crammed into a standard twin for 2 weeks.

The Grand Pasa (or Pasha) is a great hotel. We stayed there for 2weeks and enjoyed every bit of our holiday. Before we left england i read some reviews other people have written and i did get a bit nervous about what the hotel would be like. However on arrival it was fantastic. All the staff are so polite and friendly, we always had a chat. The food is good and the presentation is fantastic. The only things that i could really complain about is the lack of outdoor space, in high season (which started as we left) must get busy. The entertainment is not something for everyone but i found myself watching it anyway. There are 2songs played everyday where the entertainment team encourage people to get up and learn the dance, i have to say it is fun. I am now looking for that song to download!
After spending 2weeks in turkey i have decided that i would definately go back again and probably even back to the Grand Pasa, I made loads of friends and hope to keep in touch with them, This has been one of the best holidays i have had in a while. Well Done Grand Pasa!

Myself, my wife arrived at Grand Pasa with our 12 year old daughter on 20th of June, just our 2nd holiday in Turkey. Had a bit of teething problem so watch out if you have booked through Regal Holidays and have kids with you.We were told our daughter was over age for free child place after passing passports and reception insisted we pay £150 on the spot. I re3fused to pay and explained the travel company were at fault...it was all sorted out pretty quickly and to be honest reflected the efficiency of hotel!! It was a poor start to the holiday but everything was quickly forgotten about as we settled in to our new dwellings. What a beautiful hotel, was like stying in the Hilton back home with carpets in rooms and flat screen TV with sky!! The surroundings and facilities were excellent, staff very friendly...good variety of food, always something you could find to sort out that holiday appetite....Night time entertainment was not the best, but enetertainment team were great around the pool and where they matter most with the kids. I had a great holiday and met so many nice people and hopefully will return October I would highly recommend a stay here...air con was excellent in the warmth of 50 degrees you could escape upstairs to a very comfortable lounge area and put your feet up...bar staff very friendly and they liked my spikey hair "lol"

Jul 2008, Ms I McKeown

We had a fantastic week in the Grand Pasa. Certainly a grand hotel. Spotlessly clean and everything you would expect in a British hotel. Food was lovely, always something for everyone. You should be down early to get a sunbed otherwise you might find it hard later in the day to get one. Hotel staff were always helpful and cheery. Only a few minutes walk to shops and dolmus which took you into Marmaris centre or Icemeler at very cheap prices. Evening entertainment was its only downside, not very good. But a holiday is what you make of it.
Would certainly highly recommend Grand Pasa hotel to anyone, all ages. Hoping to go back next year.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Grand Pasa for two weeks in June and had a great time. Ok so it might not to an English 5 star rating but remember what you're paying - the same hotel over here would be a lot more expensive.
It must be the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in - in fact you sometimes feel sorry for the staff because they work so damn hard. The bar staff were really nice and if you make the effort to chat to them then you'll always get served first. And as for drink choice - if you get to know them they may knock you up a cheeky cocktail for free. Otherwise the local beer is great and always really icy cold.
I would avoid the Turkish bath in the hotel - it wasn't very good. Although if you do decide to do it haggle them down as you can get quite a lot of money off.
The room was good and we were lucky to get such a good view of the pool. The bed was a tad hard but after knocking back the giant measures they serve at the bar you don't notice too much.
We went with Thomas Cook and they were very good. The rep was always at the hotel and you get to keep your all inclusive bands when you check out (it's part of their contract apparently). One thing we'd definitely suggest if you like clubbing is the 'night shift' where you go out with loads of the reps. It's a good chance to check out the nightlife without being hassled.
As for hassle - I would avoid the Thursday market. In fact I'd probably say we were harassed. We'd bought a few things from a stall and walked away. As we were looking around, we walked back down the market and the stall holder grabbed our bag and started taking items out because he thought we'd got them too cheap! We gave him what for and took them back but make sure you're firm with them cos they can't half be cheeky.
Some little tips for you - to get the safe for free type in 1111 and it will open - then you can set your own code. That'll save you a few bob. Also on the way back in the airport they will rinse you if your luggage is over the weight so stuff all your soveneirs in hand luggage. You may look like a pack horse but at least you won't have to pay the £5 a kilo.
Anyhow - go for the grand pasa and eat and drink yourself silly. That's the best advice I've got.

Hi just returned from grand pasa...

Jul 2008, Miss C Kelly

Hi just returned from grand pasa hotel, accomadation is clean and deserving of the five stars, food is not fantastic but what is provided is cooked to high standard.
The staff are very helpful, and are on hand all day and night.
All inclusive only includes certain shorts, and ice creams must be paid for.
If treating yourself to a massage or turkish bath ,dont book at the hotel it is very expensive and the treatment is very amatureistic.Instead book through the man down the road he is very good and gets you twice as long with the maassuce at half the price.
I recommend the all day trip to Dalymon, it includes lunch and a mud bath ,and a dip in the sulpha bath springs . Pick up is included in the price (£12)and is worth every penny.
The sun loungers are sparse for the ammount of people at the hotel so early rising to secure a lounger is neccessary.
The entertainment isnt very good, and tends to cater for families with young children.
We travelled we hotels4u and were dumped at the hotel at 4.40am, we were told to ring the main office the day before returning to secure time for return, all well and good if we had the number?thankfully the hotel came to our rescue and found out for us. We didnt see our rep at all through the entire holiday, there was no meeting to advise us what was available in turkey, and the notice board which was downstairs advised us that our rep would be attending the hotel on a daily basia .This didnt happen.
Over all reps a defenate (-1 )hotel(7)staff(10)Even though we had afew teething problems we would go back to this hotel, armed with my advise i think anyone going to this hotel will find it very enjoyable.
Be wary if drinking in the town , drinks are very expensive a vodka/ lemonade and a rum/cola is just under £8 better to go all inclusive.

Have just returned after 2 weeks in the Grand Pasa. Without doubt the best holiday hotel I have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, because they are always cleaning it. Whether it's polishing, dusting, hoovering or shampooing the carpets or cleaning the toilets, mopping up spills around the pool area it was always being cleaned. But not in an obtrusive way, the cleaners just quietly went about their work. All the staff whether on reception, behind the bars or in the restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. After reading some reports about the food we too were a little apprehensive but there was no need to worry. Food was lovely, plenty of choice and well cooked. We did not hear anybody complain. It is an international hotel so they are not just catering for the Brits. As far as the Russians or the Gemans or anybody else jumping the queue, the restaurant is so big and the food is so spread out it doesn't matter. We booked the al - a - carte restaurant one night and again the food was fine, all 5 courses of it. Just too much. The pool is a good size, 5ft deep, no shallow or deep end, which was good for me. Plenty of sun beds if your down by 8am, just tie an old T shirt around your brolly, otherwise some of the rude and cheeky foreigners might just take it. We had no problem getting served at any of the bars at any time of day or night. The entertainment is poor, but we didn't go to sit and watch it anyway. We met some lovely people and made our own entertainment. Take the dolbus to Marmaris for 60p or to Icmemer for 80p if you want a night out. Would I go back to Turkey, definately.Would I go back to the Grand Pasa, ABSOLUTELY.

myself and family have just got back from a 2 week stay at the grand pasa hotel and what more can i say but WOW we had a great time, the hotel itself it defaintley one of the best i have seen abroad and i can not fault it! the only 2 disapointing things were the food which i feel could have been a bit more catered for the british (not everyone wants to eat chips everyday) and the entertainment dont get me wrong the animation team were absoultley amazing very friendly and very lovely to all the guests! maybe they could improve their shows a little bit but other than that they were great. If you want to buy any gold i strongley recommend the on site jewellers as they are also very very good and thanks to them i now have a lovely new engagement ring. well i think thats about it what a holiday i will defaintley be going back.
