My husband & I had been travelling around SE Asia since February & were making Turkey our last destination, we have been going to Turkey Maramris for the last 6 years & had only made a day trip to Feytiye before, so we decided to see Istanbul first then onto Fethiye & Marmaris would be our last stop. On arriving in Fethiye we went around the several hotels on the beach front but could not find anything suitable, so we went a very short walk up the road & came accross the Cenk Bey Hotel how lucky for us! We spoke to the reception manager who was very friendly he said we could stay it was all so reasonable we had the room breakfast & evening meal.Every morning & evening there was a buffet laid out with plenty to choose from all fresh cooked food with something different every night. (I am vegetarian & they always went out of their way to make sure there was something nice for me to eat) If you wanted a snack or sandwich during the day you only had to ask. This is a family run Hotel & what a lovely family they are & they have a very friendly waiter who has worked for them for many years.The room & bathroom were fresh & clean, the friendly maid would come into clean everyday, she even picked some flowers from the garden & put them in our room. We were lucky to have a ground floor room which faced onto the gorgeous large pool which is kept spotless & treated everyday.We were able to just hop over the small knee high balcony wall & straight into the pool. The garden surrounding the pool is kept nicely. There are bars & restaurants just one minute away & the beach is about 5mins away. This hotel was so peaceful just what we needed to relax we stayed for one week & we are so glad we chose this hotel instead of one on the beach. We would stay again at this hotel & recommend it to others. This hotel would be nice for couples & families.
