Hotel and staff were first class in our opinion. There were a lot of mixed nationalities there and when myself and my wife arrived with our 12 year old son and 9 year old daughter and were unsure how we would be taken as most guests when we stayed were older. The room was... more

We chose this hotel as the reviews were quite good, as was the price, nice staff, plain but very nice food, plenty of it and well cooked. Dutch and Spanish people in general but we like to mix with differant nationals, who were very plesant. If i have one gripe 16 euros to... more

Decent size rooms, cleaned everyday & clean towels provided daily. Bathrooms could do with a freshen-up. Hotel is very clean, staff helpful & reception manned 24hrs. Location of hotel is up a long slow hill from beach front, about 15min walk, but quiet enough area (unless... more

Clean and friendly hotel on the edge of the old town ideal for both beaches.
Rooms were cleaned daily, bedding 3 times per week. Staff were friendly and helpful, if you are looking for a quiet holiday then I would recommend Prince Park.
I would definitely go back.

Our first holiday abroad. Great hotel and entertainment.
Food was delicious and so much of it.
Lots to do in Benidorm and surrounding area.
Beach gorgeous and the shops were very individual. Some lovely walks in the area.

Just back. Was pleasantly surprised by this place, it's a 10 min walk to the main square (if you take the correct street) although a taxi just 5 euro. Food was not the best to be honest but depends how fussy you are. Supermarket 2 mins away walking. Hotel was clean; maids... more

If you are expecting loads of Brits and lively entertainment, this hotel is definitely not for you! Many Belgium and Spanish people frequent this hotel. However, saying that, I preferred the hotel to many others I have stayed in because due to the fact that many guests... more

This was a family holiday for my family ageing from 3 years old to 65 years old. The Prince Park is a really lovely hotel. Its 3+ star rating is well deserved. The staff here were very nice, especially the reception staff and the bar staff. As English guests we were... more

EXCELLENT !
I visited the Prince Park In June 07, and as cilla black would say....."its a lorra lorra hotel for the money" The Food was Great, Plenty of Choice for people of all ages, great location, not too close to the bustle, but not too far out. The Rooms are Spacious and well maintained with a beutiful bright Lobby, and the staff are very helpful !! I'd reccomend to anyone wanting spacious well maintained quarters in a great Location at a good price !!
Good all rounder!!
The Hotel Prince Park in Benidorm was great! The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was nice, with a variety of choices for all nationalities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar prices low. The location was good - not too far from all the local amenities yet it was not noisy at night. Rumours of 'heart attack hill' are nonsense! There is a long road leading to the hotel from the beach, but it is a slope, nothing that will make you out of breath! Overall, it was a great hotel, only one fault! You have to fight for the sunbeds all day, people tend to leave their towels on the beds all day and tend not to come back. However this is not really the fault of the hotel staff. There are notices saying that this is not allowed, and the staff will remove the towels and accept responsibilty if you ask them.
Couldn't fault this hotel
After reading the reviews after booking we were very nervous about taking our 15 month old son to this hotel, especially as it was his first trip abroad. However, I think the hotel has either improved or we are not that fussy. I was worried about what he would eat, however there was plenty of variety. Vegetables, spag bol, lasagne, fish fingers, chips, cheese, bread, pies, yoghurts, ice cream etc etc. plenty to keep him amused for a week anyway. Us adults enjoyed the Salad Bar, paella, fish and meat dishes. The hotel was spotless and staff very friendly especially in the restaurant. The locals adore children and we became very popular at the hotel. Although the hotel is catered more for belgians, this didn't worry us as they are just as friendly and speak good english anyway. The pool is a little on the small side, however it's great for a dip just to cool off from the blazing sun! Location wise it's situated on a hill, however at the end of the hill it's close to the shops and bars so didn't worry us too much. There is an excellent supermarket situated half way down the hill which puts ours in this country to shame. We also found Benidorm quite tame and upmarket compared to your Aiya Napia and Caneries resorts. It's so clean and well kept up and plently for old and young to do alike. Would recommend to couples, families and older people. Bar prices were reasonable as well! Only minus point was the highchairs didn't have any restraints so my son had to have his meals in his pushchair, however this didn't cause us any problems.
liked the mix of nationalities
It was nice to be in a hotel with a good mix of people. Belgians are very pleasant as is the Dutch. 10 min walk to the beach and the Old Town. La Aiguera Park is on the back door. The Bull Ring 5min walk. The train station 10 min walk. Supermarket 2 min walk. The staff very helpful. Neil the barman will help you with your Spanish. Patricia the Receptionist any local queries. Nothing is a problem. The atmosphere very relaxed. I will certainly return soon
pleasantly suprised
After reading the reviews on here i was dreading going to this hotel but i was pleasantly suprised, on arrival the rep just dumped us and ran, we had to walk across a busy road to get to the hotel but inside it was nice the hotel itself is spotless room could be bigger but on the whole i was very pleased it took us 2 days to discover that the air con is switched on by a key but the reception staff dont tell you that, the air con was rubbish anyway just left water all over the balcony. Food was ok we were full board my fiance is a very fussy eater all he ate was chips n cheese & brekkies but he didnt mind i enjoyed the food, cooked brekkies were the best meals of the day. pool was a bit small and hotel blocked the sun untill the middle of the day we made a few good friends around the pool tho only other thing i could fault was the walk to the "square" and back everynight it almost killed us walking back up "heart attack hill" the first night so we took taxis for the rest of our holiday. If we could have the hotel nearer the square or beach we would be going back there again just a few wee niggles but on the whole quite pleased
No thanks
I wouldnt advise any English people to go to this hotel its miles from the beach and is full of Belgians and Germans who seem to overrun the place. All the entertainment is for them and no english music or acts. The swimming pool is tiny with very few chairs. The restaurant is nothing special with boring, horrible food.I would rather eat out than queue up for the tripe they serve. Also the rooms have paper thin walls and every night I had to listened to somebody snoring next door then the traffic in the early morning. Out of 10 I give this hotel -1 .
Fantastic Hotel
We booked are holiday on line and had never heard of the Prince Park. We go to Benidorm alot and was unsure of where we were staying. When we got to the hotel we were pleasantly suprised, it was clean and friendly. We were half board and the food was fabulous, the restaurant manager was pleasant and made the effort to speak to people. The rooms were nice and being on the end we had a massive balcony. We weren't pool side but looked onto the road. It was interesting to watch people. We found it to be very quite on an evening even though its by a main road. When you shut the balcony door you could not hear anything. The pool was nice you had to know where to sit for the sun but on an afternoon eveywhere was sunny. They had games on a morning and afternoon, i joined in but never won. The host speaks 5 languages and mekes it fun. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning next year.
Not for Children
On arriving at the hotel i noticed we were on top of a steep hill not ideal with a buggy which we had to push up ever night as this was the only way to everything. The hotel was very clean but to our horror was a belgian favourites hotel in other words we were the only english there. The food was ok plenty off choice for adults but my 2 year old had nothing in his food range which meant a long walk to macdonalds every night. The rooms are basic but very clean and we had alovely cleaner who came every morning so the hotel in general was top marks for cleanliness. However for the 6 nights we were there we only had 1 night off entertainment which was adrag queen lucky for us zak was a sleep. The pool area is ok but the sun is blocked out so best hitting the beach. I would never vistit benidorm again i was disgusted even at 24 bye all the live sex shows this island is not for children and i am dissapointed i was not informed by this as there was no where to take my son that was decent of a night and the hotel was no better. no music by the pool and if music was on it was very low and in spanish. i recommend this hotel to old couples only.
Better than expected
After reading the reviews for this hotel i was afraid of what i was going to get. I was actually quite surprised. The reception staff were very friendly at all times, its a shame i couldn't really say the same for the restaurant staff. We went away with children and both the hotel restaurant both didn't cater for young children. The hotel was always clean, rooms basic but nice. The pool was pretty small and didn't really get any sun until late afternoon. I would recommend this hotel for elderly people of older couples looking for a quiet break. Although the hotel was nice, i would not return to this hotel as it doesn't cater for families and is quite a long walk to the new town.
never be back.
This hotel is 4 over 60s and spanish no one in their right mind would ever visit it twice the food is terridle the pool is very small and the staff dont know how 2 smile. And the time we were their we never saw a rep?The noise from the roads at night and the walls in the hotel is paper thin.
